Buena ubicación Tienen un restaurante en playa Santa Cruz y puedes hacer uso de los camastros. La playa es muy bonita y tranquila. Incluso te ofrecen llevarte en su transporte sin costo alguno ya que si caminas son 15 minutos aprox hasta Santa Cruz.

Perfectly located. A 7 minute walk to the beach, a 4 minute walk to “Target” store, a 5 minute walk to a wine store, a 3 minute walk to amazing street tacos, and a 5 minute drive to the heart of La Crucecita. But I could see a scenario where you wouldn’t want to leave the hotel, the pool is massive, the restaurant and bar serve amazing meals and drinks. The staff is extremely friendly and almost all the employees are bilingual. This is a great place to stay.

Staff is friendly, place is clean but dated as it was built 29 years ago. Food is good and location is convenient to grocery and walkable to downtown. There doesn’t appear to be any rules concerning guests claiming lounge chairs by the pool so most are claimed by 9 am despite no one sitting there for a long time.

The room was very clean, the beds were made spectacular!! The breakfast was soooo good every day.. the staff was always helpful and kind! The room was excellent, however I asked for a standard room and the room included features like a big jetted tub and deck. The tub did not work and had ants, the radio/stereo did not work and several outlets did not work. No microwave. Listening said it included airport shuttle but it did not. I feel like I wanted a standard room but paid for a more expensive room where many of the features did not work.

The staff were great, breakfast was limited in choice, the pool was warm, older hotel, street noise on roadside of property started early and was loud, was stuck in elevator for over 10 minutes & staff wasn’t trained to alarm sound so no-one came to help, happened to another person a few days earlier, owners said it was fine but manager did make an amends to our stay, AC froze & stopped working, had to move rooms & when louvers taken off to see about repair, it was full of mold. My sister almost got shocked when an outlet blew in her room & sparks flew out of it, & she also ended up with a scorpion in her room as staff kept leaving her window opened after cleaning it. I know it was reasonably priced but you get what you pay for. Won’t go back and it was hotter/really humid as not on ocean side so no breeze. Found a better priced & selection breakfast place right around the corner. Huatulco is a gem but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

Solo estuve una noche, la habitación se encontraba muy limpia/ordenada y con una linda vista al jardín. Me pareció que las habitaciones pueden mejorar en la iluminación, el piso era de madera por lo cual hace ruido cuando caminas. No hay servicio de streaming en la TV.

Un par de áreas a mejorar. 1.- No hay Smart TV! Uno no puede ver una pelí o serie en un servicio de streaming porque son Tv’s antiguas que tienen cable pero llena de estatica. Me toco una habitación de 2 plantas y solo había Tv abajo, debería haber una en la sala y otra arriba en las camas. 2.- El piso de madera hace DEMASIADO ruido, me imagino que esta floja pero es un tormento caminar y escuchar el ruido.

Hotel is amazing old world Mexico charm. Great location! Everything was great until shower time. Liters just a trickle of lukewarm to cold water. No possible way for sometime to wash their hair with any significant amount. Really would be easier to bath filling up a small cup of water and pouring on yourself.

Only stayed for one night. Very noisy, from people in the pool laughing to the room above, moving chairs, talking, things falling down until 12:00am or more. Call Recepcion, they asked to stop but people didn’t care. Next day before check out I wanted to go to the beach early in the morning (08:00) but safety box didn’t work, call the hotel and answer the maintenance staff enters at 09:00 so they couldn’t do anything. I complain of the service ant they took more than 30 min to resolve it. So I couldn’t go to beach! Had to go. Breakfast was good, more than a basic buffet and restaurant staff was good too.

I thought that the Hotel Villa Blanca was amazing, the rooms are simple but clean. Staff friendly and efficient. The buffet Breakfast is absolutely worth the $. Location is good, cabs easy to get ( hotel will call them for you ) only thing that would make it better is a view of the beach, but the pool is lovely.

Me gustó que está cerca del centro de Huatulco, lo que no me gustó es que el personal es grosero y descortés con los mexicanos y con los extranjeros les dan preferencia como si atenderme no les quedará de otra, la verdad eso no me gustó para nada, deberían poner que solo se aceptan extranjeros en su hotel y sin problema busco otro hotel donde no sean groseros y descortés con Mexicanos

The hotel was ok. We didn’t get the room pictured when we booked online; while it had the correct number of beds, the one we had was much smaller and we wouldn’t have paid what we did for the room we ended up getting (vs the one online). Things were clean but definitely older. The big negative for us stems from being told at our check in that breakfast was included in our stay but after we had breakfast this morning, we were told it wasn’t included. The shady bit was it was literally the same woman who checked us in who told us it was included who was insisting this morning she never said it. It’s just breakfast; we would have paid for it (and we ended up doing so) but it’s crappy to tell customers it’s included then pull a fast one back and insist it was never said. There were four of us in our party and we all heard her say it. It was the dishonesty on her part that left a super negative impression on us.

The shady bit was it was literally the same woman who checked us in who told us it was included who was insisting this morning she never said it. It’s just breakfast; we would have paid for it (and we ended up doing so) but it’s crappy to tell customers it’s included then pull a fast one back and insist it was never said. There were four of us in our party and we all heard her say it. It was the dishonesty on her part that left a super negative impression on us.

I stayed at this property 8 years ago, and was not disappointed this time around. The property is maintained well, the staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and not issues with WiFi or hot water. I would perhaps skip the breakfast option next time, as there are better restaurants in the area for breakfast and brunch. The hotel has access to a small beach club a few KM down the road, not ideal, but they offer great food and prices were reasonable. Overall a very good experience.

Great central location. Staff were great. Excellent breakfast offered, hot and fresh. We ate lunch and dinner here and food was always good. They could clean around the side of the pool a bit more, iguana poop on ground. Wifi is horrible I don’t think it would work well enough for someone to work. It was very hard to do online check in at the hotel.

Mi estancia fue complicada desde que llegué, hice una reservacion de una habitación JUNIOR SUITE CON 2 CAMAS y cuando llegue a la recepción me dicen que como solo somos 2 personas nos darán una habitación con 1 cama, ya que la aplicación así lo registra lo cual en mi experiencia es mentira ya que no es la primera vez que hago una reservación como esta, aun mostrando mi reservacion donde indicaba 2 camas no les importó. Después de indicarles que no aceptaría algo que no contraté me dijeron que no tenían ninguna habitación junior suite (supongo que la rentaron) que me ofrecían la única que tenían disponible con dos camas, lo cual me parece injusto ya que pague por algo diferente. Tuvimos que pasar la primera noche en la habitación que ellos quisieron darnos la tv encendía pero no se veía ningun canal, el internet muy malo no llegaba a la habitación, al siguiente día les pedí que por favor nos cambiaran a la habitación que reservé pero nuevamente nos dieron la que ellos quisieron, no la que pagué, ya no quise seguir insistiendo en que me dieran otra habitación ya que estoy segura que no tenían disponible. La limpieza fue mala ya que en una de las camas encontramos 4 insectos pequeños los cuales le picaron a mi acompañante al matarlos tenían sangre. De la regadera salía muy poca agua. Tardamos más de hora y media en espera de una solución el día del check in. Cambian las habitaciones como consideran mejor opción para ellos, sin pensar en la comodidad de los huéspedes

I thought that the Hotel Villa Blanca was amazing, the rooms are simple but clean. Staff friendly and efficient. The buffet Breakfast is absolutely worth the $. Location is good, cabs easy to get ( hotel will call them for you ) only thing that would make it better is a view of the beach, but the pool is lovely.

A 7 minute walk to the beach, a 4 minute walk to “Target” store, a 5 minute walk to a wine store, a 3 minute walk to amazing street tacos, and a 5 minute drive to the heart of La Crucecita. But I could see a scenario where you wouldn’t want to leave the hotel, the pool is massive, the restaurant and bar serve amazing meals and drinks. The staff is extremely friendly and almost all the employees are bilingual. This is a great place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay here. The beds are comfortable and I was not overwhelmed by the obnoxious smell of sheets and bedding at most hotels in Mexico. I had a late lunch here and the breakfast buffet and 10/10 for both. I loved Bar Tabachines at night. The music was groovy and I got to play pool. The house margaritas are top notch.

The pictures look nicer than it is. In reality, the rooms are rather basic (no extras, like Kleenex or conditioner etc.), the pool is small and the chairs around it are all taken. The hotel restaurant food was not great and they did not understand my daughter's allergy (even with a Spanish allergy card) and put food on her plate that she could not have for dinner. (For instance, the waiter said a baked potato had cream on it. When it came out with a thick gray gravy, after several questions, he said it had mushrooms and bacon and who knows whatever else.) The shuttle ride to the beach is trafficy and the beach had a huge cruise ship in front of it. So it's not very scenic if a ship is there, although the water and sand were smooth. The beach restaurant is nice and the food was good; there are bathrooms in the restaurant but I thought it would be a small beach club with a changing room or shower. The hotel was fine. It would have been fine if we wanted something more bare bones or more local/non-chain. But we wanted relaxation after spending a week in busy Mexico City. We ended up leaving Villa Blanca two days early and spending extra money to go to an all-inclusive hotel instead, because we wanted relaxation and good food, not stress and iffy service. (Oh and iffy wifi service too, which is an issue for teenagers and others.)

We spent 10 night here. The location is fantastic, filled with many Canadians that we enjoyed getting to know. The pool is quiet and so relaxing. It could use a good scrub. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious, good AC. Bed is a little too hard for my liking. My only real complaint is the restaurant. Over priced and really not very tasty. People rave about the breakfast, we had a much different experience. My daughter loved the 2 cats who live on the property. All in all we would definitely stay here again.
