The list of wonderful attributes at this hotel are probably too long for a review! First, it is gorgeous. Beautiful decor and immaculately clean. The staff is friendly in all areas/jobs in the hotel. The food and beverages on site are outstanding. I had a corner King suite and I loved my wrap-around, private balcony and the views from my room. Definitely check out the library and ask the staff about some of the history of the hotel. I can't wait to stay there again!

Hotel Haya is great. We came here directly from the port, at around 930 in the morning, and were able to check in immediately. We enjoyed the brunch. I got the chicken and waffles and it was delicous. The main restaurant is closed sunday evening and monday, so we got dinner at the bar and it was also delicous. The drinks were also great. The rooms are nice and clean. And the beds are comfortable. Definitely would recommend.

Honestly. The only problem I had with the hotel was that I asked for my room to be cleaned daily and it wasn’t. I had to use my towels to dry the floors dues to dampness and it was a mildew smell from the towels. And my sheets felt damp.

First time at this hotel and I didn't love it. The staff was very friendly, but the room had an unpleasant smell and the bed was poorly made and the way the pillows were arranged wasn't nice at all. My husband and I visit many hotels and we pay attention to the details. Unfortunately, there were hairs in the bathroom, which isn't nice either. I hope you can improve these things. For the price, this hotel is not worth it at all. We had mold in our bathroom, no shower curtains. Water was getting everywhere when we showered. We had no bags in any of the trash cans in our room. The ceiling in our room was very obviously patched with some plywood and drywall. This hotel is valet only and has a parking garage at $40 a night. My car was left outside of the parking garage, and it’s now covered in pollen, sticks, and leaves. I had some personal belongings missing out of my vehicle as well. For $450 a night, I could have had a better experience at the holiday inn. Front desk staff were nice and helpful. That’s the only positive thing I have to say honestly.

Spent a night here during Breezy Bowl and I would definitely come back & stay again in the future. My room was clean aside from some minor stains on the accent furniture. The bed was nice and soft. I just hate when hotel sheets have a “bleach” smell to them… bathroom was beautiful and spotless. Bar downstairs had strong drinks lol didn’t get a chance to eat any food. Location was a 10/10. Stadium & my favorite food spot when I’m in Tampa “empanadas” was literally 10-15 min away. I hope my future stays are as good as my first one.

Unless you want to risk parking on the street (area is sketchy for that) you are forced to use valet ($$$$). Our room a/c didn’t work properly and left the room ridiculously humid. Really disappointed because otherwise loved the hotel; everyone was kind and gracious, food in restaurant was great, bar was fun. I’d go back if it wasn’t for the damp room.

The Hotel Haya staff were friendly, helpful and prompt. The room was very clean and comfortable. WiFi was reliable. There are multiple good restaurants within comfortable walking distance. The free TECO Line tram service has a stop half a block from the hotel entrance which makes it easy and cheap to get to downtown Tampa. My only suggestion would be to provide a desk for those that wish to work on their laptops (the king bed room I was assigned didn't have one). I was happy with my stay, and would gladly return for another.

We really enjoyed the hotel but there was very exessive noise until 3 in the morning. We were not aware it is party area of Tampa. Very loud music from drivers blaring their stereos and alot of party goers until 3. We paid for balcony suite so I would do a inside room next time.

Hotel is nice but service was extremely poor especially in the restaurant. Had to ask several times where is the food, and it seemed like the server was paying attention to another party over my table. Asked for water and sauces several times and was never brought over. There was no chair in my room for the desk and I asked someone to bring it up for the room. 20 min later another man comes and asks if everything is alright. I ask him oh are you here to bring the chair for the desk? He says no you have to call again, but why did you come to my door and ask me if something is wrong? How did you know that something was? Why didn't you just bring the chair in the first place problem would have been solved. Would definitely not stay at this hotel again, this is the worst 4 star hotel service wise I have stayed at in the United States.

Hotel Hyatt is my go to hotel whenever I’m Tampa. I had the privilege of staying here when the Haya opened. I had nothing but great things to say. However, my recent stay, I do not think I will be back. Front desk check-in this time we’re not welcoming and just overall treated me as a nuisance. I accidentally booked the wrong one and asked the manager Skylar if I could change and she was very rigid and did not try to accommodate or make any concessions nor did she try to make it right or follow up as promised. When I travel and spend my hard-earned money on a hotel, I expect to feel welcomed, not like I’m inconveniencing the staff.

We had booked a 2 queen room 6 months in advance of our travels with our two young children (so a group of 4) which was disclosed upon booking. The day we were to arrive at the hotel I called in the morning to see if it was possible to have a roll away bed added to our room. The woman on the phone said yes, and I said I would see her that evening. When we arrived at the hotel at 6:15pm at night, the hotel sent us to a room with 1 king and a roll away bed. We returned to the lobby and were informed that the hotel was overbooked, they didn’t have a 2 queen room, and they would “happily cancel” my reservation. No apology, no acknowledgement that we were traveling with young children and we were essentially turned out to the streets with our kids where nearly every hotel was sold out due to the women’s college basketball championship. We ended up booking in a panic a room at a substantially lower end hotel at a substantially higher rate (because hotels were selling out as soon as I could input my CC information. It was terrible. When I reached out to Expedia they offered me a bunch of meaningless apologies and $25 in Expedia cash. Both Hotel Haya and Expedia’s customer service were terrible from start to finish. I question ever using Expedia again. To turn children out into the streets with not thought, care or remorse is unconscionable.

Hotel Haya provided a 5/5 experience even for a one night stay. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the amenities were exemplary, but best overall what a lovely room! A Corner Suite with the balcony provided just the view we needed along with plenty of space for our special night. I can't wait to come back! Thanks for the champagne too.

Overall excellent stay. The shower was not draining and the light in the closet was out but fixed the next day. Service was friendly and attentive. Pool ran out of towels one day due to a cheerleader competition and hotel removed amenity fee after reporting it. Would stay here again.

The area around the motel does not feel safe. A couple blocks away there appears to be a homeless shelter. The property itself is very nicely decorated and the food is top notch. Our biggest complaint was the DJ at the poolside was playing music that was not family friendly. We didn't have children with us but there were children in the pool. Lots of tough language that was not suitable.

My husband and I chose to stay here for my birthday weekend and we could not have had a better experience. We did try several restaurants around the hotel, but none of it was as good as the food from the hotel as well as the bar. Our favorite part was going to the hotel bar as, there were the best bartenders so friendly and so accommodating to make any drink that you want. We are definitely coming back and this will be a place that we continue to go to For fun or any other holidays, we choose to. If I could give this 10 stars out of five I would.
