While the property itself is older, as most are in San Francisco, it was well updated and very nice. Beautiful lobby, and very clean. At check in the staff were welcoming and very accommodating of my disability. Once to the room we noticed how clean and fresh everything was. The beds were so comfortable and sheets and pillows were very soft. Staff brought a refrigerator to store my medication and we were off for a wonderful vacation. The hotel offers free cocktails as you check in and has coffee for your mornings. I typically do not like hotel ice/water but this was the first time that the taste was clean and fresh so we regularly filled our water bottles. The pool was undergoing maintenance so we couldn’t use that, but will next visit. The parking on site was perfect. They have security at the door and don’t even let in DoorDash, but rather they have a cart where you can pick up your order. We felt safe the entire time. The location could not have been better, especially as first time SF visitors. They even surprised me with a gift, balloons and card on my birthday!! I highly recommend Hotel Caza and will return because our stay was absolutely wonderful.

Great location & distance to wharf. This was the first time staying at this hotel. We arrived 2 hours before check-in but was able to check in early. Staff was very friendly & professional. Room was clean & had good space. Highly recommend management to install grab bar in shower to prevent any falls. Nice & spacious lounge area & entertainment area.

Hotel is in a great location in Fisherman’s Wharf. Easy walk to Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, and several nice cafes and restaurants. Love the underground parking. Felt really safe in the area. Our room was clean and comfortable with nice city view. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit San Francisco.

I was taken aback when I pulled up to this hotel with my family. The promotional images of this hotel do not match actual conditions. This is a refurbished hotel - essentially, some modern finishes tacked onto an otherwise old and degrading building. Our room was gross - dirty and stained bathtub that wouldn't drain, stained carpets, thin walls and windows where you could hear everything above you and outside on the street (we did not get any rest that night). I don't even want to think about the beds. We originally booked 2 nights, but could only bear to stay one night. Would've left that same night had it not been for the fact that we checked in at midnight and had 2 kids with us. Would never stay again and don't recommend.
