Place was under construction but still met all our needs. Clean. Friendly staff. Spacious room. 2nd time here and can’t wait for the renovations to be completed for my next visit. Walking distance to everything. Beach is directly across the street, private beach area which is what we order. The public beach is a very short distance away. Bike rentals right on the property is a big plus.

The hotel was convenient to Coligny Beach. The room was clean and spacious. The pool area was well maintained. There is not enough parking. If you can't park in front of or next to the building, you have to park down the alley. It is a little inconvenient and not safe.

Hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach and and there is a free golf calf shuttle that rides around the area. Parking was onsite and convenient. There was free hot breakfast. Other than that The pool was small.

I believe the property is transitioning to a Hilton in the coming week. There was some construction going on and what looked like new furniture coming in. The gym was out of service. The rooms had a dampness and mustiness to them. Although there are humidifiers in the room, you still need to empty them when they’re full. However, with all that said the hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and nice.

This property is going through a majority renovation currently. No workout area,no downstairs restrooms and generally noisy and dirty conditions. I wouldn't recommend staying there until the renovation is completed. It will be nice when everything is completed but until then go somewhere else.

The hotel was ok they were doing some renovations so some areas were off limits. However my biggest issue was there was not enough parking around the hotel for the number of rooms they had. Had ropark down a long dark alley which was about 1/3 mile from hotel at night alone in the rain.

The hotel was undergoing a lot of reconstruction, so there were workers everywhere as well as equipment and remodeling tools. During the day, there was quite a bit of banging and drilling, which was fine. It was very clean, and you can tell that the update is gonna be great! The staff was extremely friendly. It was very clean the beds were comfortable! The pillows could be a little bit better! Overall it was a great stay super close to the beach and to the park! Easy to get to everything highly recommend! Make sure you rent a bike from the Island Life bike shop. It’s in the parking lot!

We were skeptical at first due to the star rating, but we were only coming to Hilton Head for one night for a 5K. We ended up being pleasantly surprised. The staff were very polite and professional. The room was nice and clean. We had a very restful night, mattress was quite comfortable surprisingly. And the welcome bag of complimentary water and cookies were a very nice touch! Would absolutely stay here again.

There was blood on the sheets, one of the lamps that was attached to the wall was upside down, there was no shampoo or soap, and the pull out sofa couldn’t open because the dresser was too close. The entire lobby was under construction and the “breakfast” that was provided was only poptarts and coffee cake. 0/10… do not recommend.

The property was under construction, so there was no real counter when you walked in. It was hard to tell who was working and who was just lazing around. When we got to our room, there was a big smear of feces on the back of the bathroom door. We saw the cleaners in the hall and tipped them to come in and clean it. The fridge door didn’t shut properly. The walls were very thin and we heard fighting on one side and partying at 2 am on the other. When we went down for breakfast, the dining room smelled like bad food, so we didn’t even go in. We tried both days and it was the same. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our suite was spacious and equipped with every amenity listed along with a microwave and stove. The hotel was located within walking or biking distance from the beach, coligny park, and even shopping stores. The entire staff maintained the highest quality of professionalism, friendly, and greeted each customer with a smile. I worked definitely stay here again and also refer others. The only minor issue I experienced was- that the laminate floor in our room needed to be swept, thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a hard floor powered mop( I will request this upon my next visit). The tables, desk, and headboard also needed to be wiped down with disinfectant wipes. I brought my own lysol and clorox wipes and wiped down everything in the room. I believe that any issue can be resolved. Overall, our stay was comfortable, quiet, and pleasant.

The property was under obvious construction. The sprinkler heads in the rooms were covered up with tape. The first room we were in, the latch for the lock was broken and the balcony door would not lock. We were given another room, the desk clerk was very helpful with this. There were obvious areas within the rooms that suggested the construction was not complete, however the rooms were being made available.

From the time I checked in, all staff were extremely helpful and so nice. Hotel was very clean. Spacious room with both mini frig and microwave. I think I was upgraded to a gigantic TV. Delicious breakfast. Bicycle rental was right outside. This was on the quiet south side of the island but dining, beach and shopping were a short 5 minute walk away.

Front desk staff didn’t provide exceptional service. Meaning, they did their job, but only when asked. They didn’t give any extra details to help the customer but only provided baseline information forcing the customer to ask follow up questions to answers that were unclear. We didn’t have hot water the first day. Our shower was lukewarm at best. The maintenance gentleman was condescending and rude. However, to his credit he did later return to fix the hot water issue. We were thankful for that. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is close in proximity to the beach. Not a good representation of a Hilton product.

Got there and they were training a new front desk person, great! Takes 15min to check in, get to our room and our keys don’t work, go back down, get “fixed”, still don’t work, they check with master key - it’s the lock. They go back down for 30min and then they switch us rooms. On 2nd day the key to that room doesn’t work. In new room - get to sleep and the alarm in the next room starts going off from midnight to 7am - tell them about it and it takes them an hour to figure it out. Onto it off they have biscuits at breakfast with no gravy both mornings.

The hotel is under construction which we had read beforehand so that wasn’t a surprise. The young lady that checked us in was kinda rude and very robotic. No personality at all. Parking isn’t ideal as if the front lot is full, you have to park a walk back from the hotel in the dark with no lights. The walls between rooms are paper thin and you can hear everything which wasn’t ideal. The price was great though and we were at the beach for the most part. Once the remodel is done and if they get better help at the front desk it may be a better experience. One thing that I may suggest working in customer service is that whoever is the face of the hotel (check in) sets the tone for the entire stay. I would suggest to have someone with better customer service skills welcome your guests.

Upon arrival I was told i didn't have a reservation. However, I prepaid my stay on July 19th thru your app. Instead of completing my check-in process I was told to move over so she could check in other guest. My family and I had driven 6 hours to get to the location. I began calling expedia she completed her check-in of the other guest and called someone else in the back. Apparently they canceled my reservation on their end and gave our room away to someone else. With a huff she asked how long we were staying and gave us some keys to a room. The next day after returning from the beach we went to use our keys for the room and the door showed yellow. After standing at the front desk for 5 mins with no one working it we were told the battery was going out on the door but she gave me new keys. After getting into the room the water was turned off with no notice to anyone in the hotel with no update on when the water would be turned back on please note my family had just come back from the beach covered in sand and ready for a shower and some rest. Breakfast we subpar a lot of construction was going on in the building on our floor and the main floor. no signs or hey please excuse our mess notices. This is our second time staying here and it will be our last. This is an annual trip for our family but we will use other locations from here on out. When I asked to use my hilton number I was told they were tied to Hilton but all branding said different.

Great location. Short walk to beach and shops. On a road trip and arrived early. Young lady at front desk took it upon herself to upgrade our room so we could check-in early. That was pretty awesome. Comfortable bed. Spacious and clean room. Everyone friendly.

The hotel was convenient to Coligny Beach. The room was clean and spacious. The pool area was well maintained. There is not enough parking. If you can't park in front of or next to the building, you have to park down the alley. It is a little inconvenient and not safe.

Excellent condition, friendly staff, located a 5 min walk from the beach, surrounded by lots of dining and other activities. room was big, bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower was excellent. Room air conditioner a little noisy when compared to central systems but not bad. Overall a great place to stay. Will use whenever we go to Hilton Head

The hotel was ok they were doing some renovations so some areas were off limits. However my biggest issue was there was not enough parking around the hotel for the number of rooms they had. Had ropark down a long dark alley which was about 1/3 mile from hotel at night alone in the rain.

We vacation in this part of HHI every year, and have walked by this property many times. The location is fantastic with easy access to the awesome beach, and a short walk to Colligney which has lots of dining, shopping, etc. We got a last minute deal for just one night. The hotel is under some construction and were told it is about to become a DoubleTree? by the end of August. The rooms are redone, nicely appointed and clean. Not the Four Seasons, but certainly on par with a Hampton or Courtyard. It looks like the lobby will be very nice once completed. Parking is OK? Not a ton of spots, but enough around the property to find a place. The staff was pleasant and helpful, but probably due to the transition of brands, not quite as polished and trained as a well managed mainstream brand. That said, they tried and were helpful, I'll take it. Overall great location and nice enough for the price.

Great location near the beach. The hotel is undergoing renovations which made it a little messy. Our room was OK but it was not explained to us that we needed to request housekeeping when we checked in so imagine our surprise when we came back on the 2nd day to a messy room and was then told we needed to ask ahead of time... Also, when asked if we could have someone bring us at least some clean towels, was told that we needed to come to the front desk. This is a hotel right? Finally breakfast was listed to be served until 10 am but if you go there after 9 there was little food and no coffee available. Milk served out of a half gallon container. I expected more from this hotel

Got there and they were training a new front desk person, great! Takes 15min to check in, get to our room and our keys don’t work, go back down, get “fixed”, still don’t work, they check with master key - it’s the lock. They go back down for 30min and then they switch us rooms. On 2nd day the key to that room doesn’t work. In new room - get to sleep and the alarm in the next room starts going off from midnight to 7am - tell them about it and it takes them an hour to figure it out. Onto it off they have biscuits at breakfast with no gravy both mornings.

Only the one woman who did breakfast one day was friendly. Two of the front staff members were rude and inept. Breakfast the last morning cold coffe never emptied from day before. Everything about this hotel was excellent! From the friendly and helpful staff to the quality of food and cleanliness of the room! Not to mention the great location with a walkway directly to the beach. I’ll definitely be back again soon.
