Hampton Inn Marianna I-10

What guests think

Across recent reviews, Hampton Inn Marianna I-10 is praised for its new, very clean feel, convenient I-10 location, and a popular hot breakfast, with guests also appreciating the pool and gym when available.

Several travelers mention firm mattresses or flat pillows affecting sleep, and some report traffic or hallway noise depending on room placement. Facilities feedback is broadly positive, though there are occasional outages or limitations such as a down hot tub, an elevator temporarily out, tight parking at peak times, or low water pressure. While service is often welcoming, a few guests describe inconsistent problem resolution and housekeeping misses. Expect a modern, convenient stop with strong basics and occasional hiccups.

I travel a lot for work (about 30 hotel nights this year). This was a family trip (so lower budget than my work trips), but the hotel was the best of the 9 that I tried this year. It had two (pay for) EV chargers. The breakfast had eggs, ham, and a wide variety of carbs. I had a waffle with pecans, strawberry syrup, and whipped cream. The room was perfectly clean and had a very comfy bed. Staff were friendly. No parking charge. This Hampton Inn was much better than the one just up the road in Tallahassee.

They may need to provide additional parking. We were there for a pageant and I know the location was probably fully booked, but the parking was full quickly and that left it difficult to find a spot when coming back later in the evening. Other than that, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff was the best I have ever dealt with.

Bring your own pillows, the ones here are 90% air and deflate on laying on them turning flat as a pancake. Both my husband and I had a hard time sleeping the couple of nights there. The spring mattresses are very firm in areas and gave us back pains and we could hear noisy vehicles in the road outside our room next to the highway. However, the breakfast buffet is really nice and they change up the entries each day. Free coffee in the lobby and bagged breakfast and cookies throughout the day. The staff were fairly nice. The hotel is fairly brand new so the rooms were pretty clean, bath tub was free of mold in the corners. We might try a different hotel next time but this is a good fall back if needed.

New hotel, about a year old. King bed was uncomfortable. Squeaked. Headboard banged the wall when moving in the bed. Pillows too soft, no support. Tub slippery. No drink cups in bath. Electric sockets were odd by the nightstands... finally figured them out. TV was a pain... streaming. Smoke detector? in ceiling kept flashing 4-5 small lights. Breakfast was ok... standard hotel stuff.. nothing exceptional. ... and for $180!!! Way too much!!!!

We requested the handicap accessible room because my son has Cerebral Palsy and we need floor space, we were told that at check in that was the room we got. We were sadly lied too, when confronting the front desk clerk, he stated they gave us the hearing disabled room and already gave the room we requested to someone else for the weekend. That is EXTREMELY disappointing when we needed this for an actually disabled child.

The hotel was not too bad overall. Our first night we had an issue that the hotel wouldn't resolve and when i contacted the manager at checkout to see if she could comp us off some of the rate for thst night she was very rude and absolutely nasty to me in front of my children. I stood my ground and called out her behavior for which then she tried to argue with me but again i stood my ground and gave her a much needed lesson on customer service. The hotel is over priced. Other than Christina's horrible attitude ( manager) the rest of the staff were pretty amazing.
