This property would more appropriately be called a motel. However, it was everything we needed for our plans. Good location for our purposes and a very good price. We arrived later than expected but the proprietor was very accommodating and pleasant. One thing I really want to commend them for may sound odd, but it matters to us: there were blankets on the bed, not just a sheet and comforter. It amazes me that high end hotels will charge a lot of money for beds with no blankets, just heavy comforters that are too hot in the summer and when you throw then off, it is too cold with just the sheet. This sweet little place had nice blankets - old school and thank you!!

Was not very clear, toilet needs to be replaced, floor didn’t look to clean and seen a couple of bugs. The bathroom needs all new fixtures!

Old school motel with a great family run vibe. The room we stayed in was very dated, but just what we expected for the type of motel and the cost. Love the convenience of parking outside directly in front of your room. Staff was very helpful and we will be sure to stay again when visiting our friends.

The old saying, you pay for what you get applies here. It all depends on what you are looking for. If your room is part of your vacation enjoyment, this is not the place. If it's to put your head down at night, probably be ok for you as it was us. Our room was extremely run down, hole in ceiling, patch work on just about everything that had to be done by someone with limited experience in building maintenance. Entire ceiling above tub was stained which show signs of mold. Not things to contact front desk about to come fix right away because they aren't immediate fixes. The entire property smells of cigarettes because there is always somebody outside on the sidewalk smoking and the rooms are smoke free but it's obvious they were smoking rooms at one time. Outdoor seating area was grimy so we didn't use it. We stayed 4 nights and managed because we were on a last minute trip that required a budget and knew even if we got a refund it would take a few days. I will say the location was absolute perfect for our trip because we needed to go to Helen GA and Bryon City NC, so we were in the middle. It was also very quiet and the HVAC worked great. Water pressure was awesome and the room was clean, just stained up. I think a little work with some paint and new fixtures would do wonders. It is probably perfect for contractors in the area who are staying on a budget. If we come back to the area we will check and see if the updates have happened and possibly give it another go.
