We enjoyed how close this hotel is to many of the historical sites and restaurants. We also thought the breakfasts were wonderful and the happy hour very enjoyable. What we didn't like is the elevator being broken and the lighting in the working elevator sometimes not working so you had to ride in the dark.

The hotel itself is great. It’s their parking situation that’s problematic. Their lot connected to the hotel is very small and handicapped parking, which I needed, wasn’t available. I had to walk quite a ways to park in their remote lot. This would keep me from staying there in the future.

Great, comfortable stay in February. Clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Gym was great with a view of the outdoor pool. The breakfast was great with lots of options. Parking was full and staff was very helpful to give other options for off street parking and public parking across the street.

This room I was in was not well maintained. The counter was cracked, the shower was dirty, and the carpet needs to be cleaned and/or replaced. I could hear every movement of the folks above me. I somehow missed that there’s a fee for parking. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Checked in after a long business day. When I got to the room, it had not been cleaned. The bed was unmade, towels were on the floor so I went to the front desk and their computer system showed that the room was listed as having been cleaned. They were very nice and immediately gave me another room and walked with me to verify it had been cleaned.

Hotel was well located near to restaurants and the main part of town but I found the room had not been very well cleaned from the previous guests and could hear a lot of noise from the rooms next door and the main road outside. I was pleased i had ear plugs with me.

From check in to leave, I was pleased. the room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff ladies were incredibly polite and helpful. I had no problem using the hotel lot for parking, shower was great and AC unit did its job perfectly in the extreme heat. There were many wonderful restaurant options near by, and we felt safe walking the quaint streets. I would gladly return if my travels ever take me back thru Alabama.

Our room was on the third floor facing the street. Our white noise machine could not overcome the street sounds of cars with special mufflers and such. It was noisy. At 2:30am my son was counting how many times one muffler circled the hotel. I had read the comments in hot water so I asked for a room with good hot water. When I showered I cranked up the hot water to the max level and it eventually got hot. People who showered in the morning said it was not better than luke warm. I was surprised by the layout. The sofa bed faced the two queens. I expected a long room instead of this square configuration so it was not as spacious as I expected. With my do not disturb sign up housekeeping was knocking on our door at 9:30 just to make sure. The area has a lot of homeless around the hotel. While the stay was ok I would not stay here again.

The staff were incredible, so kind and accommodating. They helped my mother-in-law and brother-in-law get a last minute room when their original hotel was dirty and had no A/C. The breakfast options were so yummy, the room was clean. If I am ever back in Montgomery, I will be staying here!! Thank you!

Most of the staff were very nice and helpful. A member of the kitchen staff though, needs some serious education on ADA rules for service dogs. Completely turned me off with his ignorance and then his attitude. I didn't touch the breakfast, it wasn't worth his harassment. I understand it is a hotel, but the paper thin walls are an issue with noise. Also, I sent a message two days ago about some elaboration on my bill, no answer. It is an unremarkable place to stay. It was good enough one time in a pinch (family emergency), but not worth going back.

The staff threatened to put my 20 kids out because of the 10:00 quiet policy. It was only 8:20. I felt targeted..but a familyreunion was drinkig alcohol in the lobby and just as loud with no threats

We were in town for a few days and this was a very comfortable stay. We experienced spacious, clean rooms, good breakfast options, and free laundry facility. All of the public spaces were kept clean and well stocked. I wasn't aware that there are only paid parking options around the hotel and onsite, but we were fine leaving our car and walking to most places. My only complaint is that the staff aren't consistent, some are very helpful and others couldn't be bothered. Standard customer service would make this a 5-star stay.

The desk clerk that checked me in on 24th of January. Did not want to give the room that I reserved through Expedia. I was told that because I had an Alabama identification card with a Montgomery address. They had the right to refuse my reservation even though I showed them proof of my new address. It made me feel as if they were discriminating against me for some reason. Because of this reason I will no longer patronize with them and my family will also not patronize with your company. Even though we use your establishment in the past for traveling family members. Thank you for your time and that horrible experience and my room was never cleaned for my entire stay at your hotel. I was in room 532 by the way

Hotel was fine. Downtown Montgomery not that great. As soon as I got out of my car, a homeless man came out of nowhere asking me for money. Not staying here or in the vicinity ever again. Find a place by Eastchase.

I’ve stayed at this property three times while traveling for work. For the first two stays the rooms were very clean and fresh, but the most recent stay was in a more run down room (broken shower drain, peeling and molded ceiling in the bathroom). They seem to be doing work on the lobby at the moment, so they’ve closed off half of the space and made the breakfast much more simple. The amenities are clean and up to date and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would stay here again with hopes that I’d be in one of the better kept rooms that I experienced during my initial stays and a broader selection of breakfast items.
