No one to help at check-in, room smelled horrible. Asked for help with that, they sent no one to help after stating they were sending someone. Elevators were broken and my husband is disabled. Bad experience all around. Will not stay again.

The property was fine; however, Expedia failed to arrange a wheelchair accessible room and they had none available. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and we had to make sure with a non accessible room, which was roomy enough to use the wheelchair in. The bathroom, however, did not have a shower seat or space to pull the wheelchair up to the counter. Expedia needs to pay attention to reservation requests and make sure if wheelchair accessible is requested it is documented on the reservation.

Clean, safe, parking too, pet areas , breakfast

Upon arrival, elevator was broken, was told service call had been put in, but I was on the 3rd floor !! The trip up and down all those flights of stairs cause severe chest pains and shortness of breath. Once reaching the room housekeeping was in the hallway cleaning rooms and our trash had not been emptied. Trashcan full of trash from previous guess.

Overall great stay. However, there were two issues that bothered me. When checking in, I was informed that my blinds were inoperable. I was provided the decision to have the blinds either raised fully or lowered fully, but they would remain in that state during the entirety of the stay. I chose to have them lowered fully, which I was promised would be completed by maintenance. I departed my room for a few hours and when I returned, the blinds were the same state; maintenance did nothing. The second issue involved the elevator. One of the elevators would not go to the first floor, forcing you to use the stairs. At first, this doesn’t appear to be an issue until you realized that inoperable elevator would continually come to my floor when the button was pushed, refused to operate as intended (going to the first floor), and the only way to use the other elevator was to walk down the flight of stairs and call it to your floor.

While we were only at the property for one night we were sorely disappointed in the condition of the property. First, the elevators smelled horrible and when we exited the elevators on the 6th floor the trash cans were not only full but reeked of old trash. As we went down the hallway to our room the air was full of marijuana. This was on our way to our room, after we left our room and when we returned later in the day. The shower corners were filthy and the shower heads were not clean as well as they had a terrible water flow. The kitchen sink would only drain the water with the garbage disposal on and the dishwasher was as well dirty on the outside. We stay at Home2 Suites often and this stay was the absolute worst. We really should have requested a refund but we were staying in the area for only one night and did not want the hassle of trying to find another room.

Enjoyed staying at this property, we stay here for holidays. Nice spot if you have pets, staff was awesome. I highly recommend this establishment.

The staff were very kind and attentive. They were certainly trained to serve the guests. The rooms were nice and clean. I appreciated the air conditioners working well in the room. The hallways and elevators were quite warm though. It was almost as if the air conditioning for those area were not working or something. It made the hotel feel like it was lower quality than what it was.

The room is spacious with a comfortable seating area, large fridge, microwave and plenty lighting. Workout area and pool is always nice to have available. Breakfast is convenient and stocked. Coffee, tea or cocoa for your liking.

Very clean and a pleasant hotel

The rooms aren't being properly attended to. It appears that the cleaning staff are not properly cleaning the rooms. The showers was dirty. The pillows and bed covers was terrible. And it's time for the carpet to be replaced. my family and I just stayed here because we didn't have any other options due to the purpose of why we were there. However, I would not recommend if you're looking for a comfortable clean place to stay.

My shower had a very strong fish smell and the shower head was gross. I have photos. Shower wasnt cleaned well. Pillows smelled like a mans cologne. Floor was dirty. Pillows went immediately flat. Battery died on my door and was locked out while trying to get ready for work and to checkout.

Upon arrival there was a strong unpleasant smell. Floor had not been vacuumed recently. I was given my key at checkin, mistakenly went to 221 instead of 222 and was shocked with the condition of the room. My mistake going to wrong room. went back up to rm 222. Room was fairly clean but smelled like a skunk. Researched the area for another hotel room but all were booked due to Georgia Southern Graduation. We were there for a funeral. We will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. Carol

The rooms were relatively nice, my biggest complaint is the mattresses are terrible and not comfortable it's like sleeping on a piece of plywood ..

The floor above me was playing music incredibly loud for a couple of hours

Staff was very friendly. The amenities in the room and size were excellent.

Either the windows are thin or the walls are paper thin, but we could hear someone’s TV through the wall or we could hear the pool’s music all night long. My husband and I could barely sleep The room was great but they need to have a better noise dampening system.

Solid 3 star hotel. Room was a little worn with electric blinds that didn’t work, sink base super worn…but the staff was nice, lobby was great.

I loved the layout of the room with lots of counter space. The design of the window treatments kept light out for great sleeping. I was impressed with how well the little kitchen was stocked. This is my favorite hotel!

Clean room. The staff were extremely friendly. Since the room seemed to be setup for an extended stay, it had all the amenities needed. The size of the room was so spacious. I would definitely stay at this hotel or another Home2Suite again.

The only thing I do not like is the floors are thin you can hear people walking and they always seem to walk either early in the morning or late at night which is extremely annoying

The management and all staff is the reason I will return

Tried to check in to my room at 6:25pm. Room was not ready. (Check in time is 3pm). After waiting 45 minutes, room was still not ready. Was told one housekeeper had walked out on the job so it would be 30 more minutes. I had an event to attend and could not wait any longer. I had to leave a find another room, which ended up costing me an additional $75. Would not recommend this location

Very helpful and friendly staff

On the day of our check in, we arrived at the hotel at 5 PM, for a check-in that was supposed to be 3 PM. Upon arriving the Front desk clerk told us that they were short staffed, and that our room was not ready. I told her not to worry and that we would return later that evening because we had to go to a sorority event with our daughter. She checked me in and gave me the room key so that I wouldn’t have to go through checking in later that evening and we left. We returned to the hotel at 1:30AM and went up to our room only to have the room key not work. I went down to the front desk clerk and told her our key wasn’t working and she scanned it again and told us we should be good. I went back up, and again, the card was not working. I went back downstairs frustrated and told her that the key was not working. She scanned it one more time and once again, the key did not work. Now very annnoyed, I went down and told her that it still wasn’t working. She checked her system and said that they gave our room to someone else and gave me a key for another room. I got our new keys, went upstairs, and walked into a filthy room. It smelled like food because there was food trash all over the kitchen and dirty Tupperware, there were pillows thrown on the couch, and no linens on the bed. I went down furious and told her & her response Was sorry we don’t have clean rooms but you’re welcome to go to the Holiday Inn up the road. I have NEVER had such an experience & won’t ever reserve here.

The AC broke down around midnight, in March. Front desk acted like I was wasting her time. I moved to a different room at 1am, with no help from their staff. The room I was moved to had a different bed, and the mattress was hard as a rock… causing me back pain all weekend. Not a relaxing stay.

Staff was excellent!!

The hotel was adequate. There was rarely anyone at the front desk the times we walked past. They did communicate via text. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. There was some older furniture that could be replaced. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower were all empty. We did not need the breakfast so can’t comment.

Camellia at the front desk is fabulous. She is so personable and helpful. My favorite staff member for sure. The room was great this year. We stay there every Christmas.

I truly enjoyed our visit at the hotel. I was also surprised to find that we had a full size fridge in the unit, which helped during the exceptionally hot days that week. I was most impressed with the daily breakfasts. I took advantage of those every day. I was also pleased to discover that there were Urgent Cares and small dineries on Brampton just down the street. The Mellow Mushroom had calzones I haven't found anywhere!

The Home2Suites in Statesboro is a very nice, clean and great area for shopping and dining. The staff treated us very well and we had no issues or complaints about the room or any of the facilities. Also, the breakfast was very enjoyable and had a nice variety of both hot and cold foods. Definitely worth the price.

Stay was better than good. Room/Suite was well proportionate. It was super 3 C's - Clean, Comfy & Cozy. My teenager (male)love everything about our stay. Would definitely stay again. Several suggestions: 1. Breakfast time a little longer; 2. Various/better variety of breakfast items offered. Close to food, shopping, college and adventure. Recommend Home2Home.

You’d stand in front of the orange juice machine, glass in hand—except the glasses were all the way on the other side of the buffet. Then you’d find drawers labeled “utensils,” only to open them and discover they were empty, while the actual silverware was hiding in random dispensers around the room. Once you figured out the system (which felt like solving a breakfast escape room), the food itself was… visually challenged. But the waffles? Absolutely stellar. And the fact that they offered both milk and soy milk in the fridge was a classy touch—A+ for that. Tea selection, on the other hand, was a bit of a letdown. The staff, though, were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful—exactly the kind of Southern hospitality you hope for in Statesboro. Would I stay here again? Bringing my own tea

Very freindly staff. Large rooms in excellent condition with all the convenience of a full kitchen minus the stove. The breakfast was not good. Did not like all those pre-made, frozen breakfast sandwhiches.

Great hotel for the price, very clean and modern. The only complaint i had was the breakfast. The ready made breakfast sandwiches were hard and nearly inedible. I stayed 4 days and they were that way every morning. Other than that, every other aspect of the hotel was 5 stars in my book.
