The facility itself is fine. The hotel looks nice. The rooms are pretty decent and comparable to most of its companion properties in the brand of line. However, this is the problem with the north Augusta Crown Plaza. It’s Crowne Plaza prices without all of the expected amenities. What I mean by that is when I had asked for a toothbrush because I had forgotten mine. They didn’t have any they were out, when I went to get Gatorade from their little snack nook, they only had a couple sodas and some odd beer and that was it. They didn’t even have bottled water. Not that I wanted to pay seven dollars for a bottle of water but still. The staff solution was for me to go to the convenience store which meant I had to get in my car drive all the way up there, even though it was a mile or less away. The other issue I have is that even though it was a pretty busy weekend a lot of people out they shut down their hotel bar about 10 o’clock on a Friday & Saturday, what’s worse is the bartender even cut off the fire pit with a full crowd around. To be honest, I don’t know if I’l ever stay there again, especially when the Marriott is just across the river and same price if not a little bit more a little bit less. Now the downtown AugustaMarriott is worth it.

They over charged me. They have no parking and make you park in a public garage across the street, which really sucked because it was raining. They also charge you $12 per night to park there. They charge a $9.95 destination fee, um North Augusta is no destination folks. Just another gimmicky charge. They provide no breakfast items except regular coffee, they had no decaf. Overall, good hotel but bad parking situation, extra charges, no breakfast items, no decaf, make it a no go for me. I won’t be back.

Music too loud to try to sleep, parking garage across street and for an older person with bad knees it wasn’t good while also paying 12 dollars extra for parking besides hotel fee. You had to buy breakfast from restaurant on site unless you leave to get breakfast. Toilet sits too low to floor and black hair in shower and on floor in bathroom

Unfortunately, the rooftop bar and restaurant have a very limited schedule. That was the main reason I chose the hotel. I'd hoped to be able to hang out there and enjoy the river. Unfortunately, neither restaurant (at the bar or inside) nor the bar or even rooftop space were avaiable for the 2 days of our stay. The hoyel was fine, but I'd stay elsewhere next time and dave the extra expense for amenities that aren't always available.

The check-in process was fine. Staff were friendly. The room was not clean. The toilet seat was up upon walking in and there was a giant coffee stain on the wall at the entrance to the room. There was lots of visible lint in the room. The showers also had visible lint. For this hotel’s price point I’d expect it to be cleaner.

This hotel was in a great area and very beautiful. The atmosphere and vibe were great. The employees were very professional, helpful and kind. My only complaints were that the room had a light moldy smell, the bathroom walls had dirty spots, and the shower had lots of hair, on the wall and floor of shower. The toilet was extremely low to the floor and was rather close to the shower. I am an IHG member and was a little disappointed. I booked last minute not using my account and I'm just wondering if I had booked under my account would it have made a difference.

This Place Was horrible • We were told upon booking that we'd get conjoined rooms. this wasn't true. • first room wasn’t available until 5 and the second until 7pm. If I check out late, you charge me, but you can check me in when it’s convenient for you? • rooms were NEVER serviced. Had to go down and ask for towels to be sent up on last day. • MULTIPLE COCKROACHES. Not the big “those are water bugs” cockroaches, but the little ones that like to infest clothing. Found at least 3. Know there were more. • After one night mildew started to form on one of our bags. The a.c in that room ran constantly but never got below 75. Very moist. Wife woke up on our last day with super sore throat • Pool never had towels and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Saw some other guests allowing in 5+ local friends and their kids. Staff didn’t care. • Front desk lady was super rude and couldn't be bothered to help in any way.

One of our rooms was dirty. Sheets had stains, bathroom floor had hair on it. One of the complementary bottles of water was open and half way full. The noise from the rooftop bar was extremely loud and kept us up and then they were moving chairs cleaning up until 1am. Not a good experience for our stay.

Most upscale hotels provide water in the room or at least one bottle to get you started. You don't provide any water and we paid $21 for 4 bottles of water which was ridiculous. Also, the room view was terrible. So many rooms face the back and you are looking at multiple HVAC. You have want to consider adding some greenery to camoflauge the undesirable view. Thank you.

Liked area, close to Riverwalk, close to Wellstar if you have an appointment as I did. Only 2 bath towels provided daily but were able to get additional upon asking. Lack of a safe in room was inconvenient. Mini fridge could use an upgrade, not very cold if you need this amenity. Recommend a light blanket vs comforter for summer months, a bit too warm, had to crank down AC quite a bit. Staff as accommodating as they could be, very friendly.

The walls are paper thin. Able to hear complete conversations and babies crying throughout. The suite wasn’t decorated plan bathroom walls. Auto in light for bathroom don’t shut off for 30 min hard at night. Because I used third party we were given middle room on 2 floor instead of higher up as a plenty.

The hotel is in a very nice, safe area if you’re visiting Augusta. It’s just a few minutes (5 tops) to The Medical College of Ga and the hospitals in the downtown area. This property is our go-to spot when we need to be downtown. The facility has a new, fresh feel and the parking is easy and convenient! The staff were all nice and courteous. Chelsea, at the front desk, was especially helpful to me.

My experience at this hotel was less than satisfactory. The front desk staff and maintenance were great. However, the staff in the hotel lounge restaurant part & upstairs were HORRIBLE. We had to hunt down someone to take our orders on two separate days. We sat down & no one offered a menu but walked by us multiple times avoiding eye contact on purpose. We raised our hand to waive & signal multiple times but were ignored. Both times it took us AT LEAST 30 minutes just to get a menu & 40 seconds of service. We were told both times to wait a moment so they could help us but both times we were brushed off. Both times, they took our personal credit card & held it for hours until we were ready to pay. We have never experienced that anywhere. We did not understand why they couldn’t charge it to the room OR take our card when we were ready to pay as normal. We asked one waitress for a menu & she told us we needed to get up, walk over to the bar & get the menu ourselves. Besides the service, the room was BAD. Two bugs were located. The chair in the room was sticky & dusty (dirty). There was a long brown stain on the top cover. The shower floor was not clean & so disgusting that I did not feel comfortable taking a shower upon checkout. After the second day, I noticed red spots on certain locations on the wall. Upon closer look, it appeared to be blood. All of this was documented with pictures. This was the nicest hotel in the area but I was better off staying at a motel.

I was really hyped to stay at the “Crowne Plaza” but the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The business center printer was out of ink and when I went up to front desk, the GSR made the worst face and huge shrug as if to say….okay so how is that my problem?” They never did get any ink or offer any alternative service. Nobody seemed to like their job there. The conference center bathrooms two of the sinks were out of soap, two days in a row, when I approached the front desk to ask my question, the person BEHIND THE DESK (because I wasn’t going back to the previous GSR) asked, “Did you tell the GSR? I looked at her puzzled and she said, “I’m not a GSR.” Maybe my 12 years in the industry made me jaded, but EVERYONE is a representative of the hotel. She was six feet from her desk mate all she had to do was say. Thank you, we will get that taken care of. I was hosting a business meeting and I felt like an inconvenience and I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

I enjoyed the rooftop bar/lounge. The karaoke provided great entertainment! :) The breakfast was amazing! 10/10! During my breakfast experience, Monica and Madison provided exceptional service. They really turned my morning into a good morning. I did experience a cleanliness issue with the shower. However, once the staff were made aware, they made sure that I was taken care of. Overall, I had an amazing and relaxing stay. I will definitely stay at the property in the future.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was very attentive. It is very near the river and river walk. I felt safe and had several restaurants to choose from across the street as the hotel restaurant was closed. Only negative was $12 a day parking across the street but it was in a parking garage.

I have to go to Augusta frequently and this was my best hotel experience sofar. Check-in was OK but know that the garage is not an easy walk to the hotel with luggage. Take stuff to the room before parking your car. The room was quite nice. It was on the top floor and quiet. Housekeeping had done a mediocre job of cleaning the bathroom. . .used washcloth and rubbish were on the floor under the vanity. When they came after the first day they left an additional bath towel but didn't replace the bath mat. These are minor issues but shouldn't happen. When I requested additional Keurig pods and creamer, no one showed up with them within two hours. Ultimately i got them from the front desk. The location is very convenient if you are doing things in downtown Augusta or at the various medical facilities. I would definitely stay here again.
