The room was good, pretty much standard fare nothing fancy the towels though could have been a little bit thicker and more absorbent you could tell they had been through one too many washes also the soap and complimentary toiletries could have been a little bit better but the mattresses were good and the HVAC worked fine so overall it was okay

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the hotel rooms need a little love. The property is convenient to Saugatuck Brewery, Downtown Douglas, and Saugatuck by the harbor. It’s a great location and a charming little hotel. The breakfast was really nice and the fact that coffee and a few snacks are available 24/7 is a nice touch. The only negative for us was the bathroom area. It was pretty dated and there’s a broken tile in the ceiling that gave us the creeps. It felt like someone could place a camera up there and watch you. It definitely needs addressed, but beyond that the room was nice. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room is an adjoining room and we could easily hear people on the other side of the door. We heard clearly heard entire conversations, but we weren’t in the room much, so this didn’t bother us. We were in room 115 and had a view of the back of the property which is wooded, so it was nice that we didn’t have to look at the parking lot since we were on the first floor. Despite the little things that aren’t so great, we both agreed we would 100% stay here again. Check-in and checkout were super convenient.
