While this property is pet-friendly, the pet area is nothing but rocks. There is no grass on the property, which was really hard on my elderly dog, who already has trouble walking. The room was nice and very clean. Beds were comfortable although the metal frame made noise every time we moved. You can hear people walking in the room above you. We even got a call about a noise complaint of us running in the room, even though we had been in bed for a bit at that point, and there certainly had been no running in our room. This made it hard to relax because we were worried about the noise with just normal movements. Breakfast was decent except for the fact that the eggs hadn't been refilled. Overall, the place was decent but I probably wouldn't stay again.

Pool was dirty. As we were cleaning it ourselves we found the pool to be cloudy meaning a chemical imbalance in the water. The pool filter wasn’t going either. Bathroom in our room was nasty. Shower curtain was torn and coming off. Water was going everywhere. Room had a nasty smell to it. In general this place needs maintenance, and someone to care. Outside looks great! Building and landscaping is beautiful. Staff is nice and friendly

Outsiders were trying to use the pool (and breakfast buffet) for free, but staff was on it, and didnt allow it. They were very friendly. Nice breakfast, pool looked small (no hot tub but was told pool is heated). We didnt swim b/c just down the street are eateries and a free trolley ride around the city. Walls, doors and elevator are dated, but the rooms/bathroom are nice. I would stay here again.

Stopped here with our dogs during our road trip. Tge staff was nice and the room was clean. Unfortunately as others have noted there is no grass on the property and you have to walk across the street to walk the dogs. Not a big deal but just inconvenient.

There was a dead roach in our room upon checking in. The front desk didn’t want to give me an extra bath towel but they did let me have one. The room smelled musty. The rooms needed a refresh and/or a new paint job. The bathroom door is rigged so it won’t stay open without using a metal door stop. The lighting over the kitchenette is very dim. Hard to see how to make coffee.

The hotel was clean and nice inside. There was not enough parking. We had to park next door at a pharmacy, overnight. We did not get towed, but it was a risk. When we first arrived, there were 3 spots open, but even those parking spots were so narrow. It was a minor issue.

Liked the furnishings and decor, which had been recently refurbished, and that it was dog friendly, but there was no dog areas on the hotel property. Some curb areas and vacant lots off premises were fortunately accessible. And enough outside noises that the last time were woken, we agreed it reminded us of the movie My Cousin Vinnie.

Wanted to take a hot bath the plumbing has been messed up in my house and just needed a soak because my muscles were hurting. They didn’t have any rooms with the deeper bathtubs but I took a room for a regular just to have hot water. The tub has a leak and drains around the outside of the drain so the tub would never actually fill with water. Both rolls of toilet paper were wet which they didn’t check between guests? The room was really nice and the breakfast was nice. The staff was really friendly.

If you bring a pet just know that they have rocks everywhere for your dog to potty smh!! No grass anywhere. (Bring puppy pads) Also… check in was supposed to be at 3pm I didn’t get a room around 4:30pm. I had to get a different room because the room i reserved for never got cleaned. They kept saying it’ll take 15 mins, came back in a hour and it was still not done. Then want laugh and say sorry about that it’s going to be another 15mins or an hour or so. Umm no ma’am! Thankful for another room but ridiculous! I’m not coming back!! I do don’t recommend! Outside was sketchy as well. And it looks like my husband ‘s truck got hit during the night from the parking lot. And there’s a sign that it’s not the hotel’s responsibility for damage vehicle or stolen vehicle… really?!! So aggravating. We only stayed one night and it was a horrible experience!! Just glad that we were safe and or room was able to cool down. Breakfast was good. That’s about it!!

I like to start with the positives - they have good coffee and the room was clean. This unfortunately is where the positives end. The area this is located in is not a safe area. We had planned on stopping at a gas station close by to grab some water and snacks for the room but there were people in the parking lot clearly selling drugs so we drove away and opted for the overpriced water sold by the hotel. When we got to the room it was not what was advertised. The room pictures online are misleading. We paid a lot more for a room with a jetted tub but the tub is out in the open with no curtains or doors so unless you want everyone in the room to watch you take a bath this is not useable. The king bed was extremely hard so between that, the hard lumpy pillows, train sounds and police sirens going off throughout the night we did not get any sleep. There are also porn channels on the tv so would not recommend for a family with children in the room.

We stayed here during our cross country move with a toddler, dog and cat. The front desk clerk was AMAZING and so nice! While the area isn’t great, the hotel is kept nice. I didn’t enjoy the LED lights but that is such a small thing! The pool was amazing and always busy, but stayed cool and was perfect for the family being inside! The main floors did have a scent to it - from smokers coming and going but once in the room it was fine! The only issue we had was that there was a spot light shining directly into our room all night - even with blackout curtains it was still bright! As well the dog area was not great as it was all pebbles and no grass.
