Bridge Inn

What guests think

Reviews of Bridge Inn describe clean, comfortable suites with handy kitchenettes and jetted tubs, friendly staff and easy code-based check‑in, and a walkable location near the beach, river, and Indiana Dunes, with an on‑site restaurant and bar.

Guests repeatedly note train tracks nearby; some hear horns and alarms at times, though many report it did not disturb their stay and earplugs are provided. Many also find good value in the space and layout for short stays. A few mention an industrial-looking area outside and occasional small drawbacks like underwhelming TV setups or limited views. Overall, expect a simple, well-kept base with personable service and a handy location.

Super cute place to stay. Service was great. It has a wonderful indoor-outdoor restaurant right there in the same parking area. Great food. Its less than a 5 min drive to the beach which was wonderful. Close to the casino if that's your thing. Outlet mall down the road. I would definitely come back!!

Our room at Bridge Inn was clean and the perfect size for couples. It had a small kitchen with a coffee machine, toaster, and utensils. The location was a 10-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and outlet mall. The best part was there was a bar and restaurant located there as well.

The Bridge in a cute complex of buildings. While you can indeed see the bridge from all 3 buildings, it is not exactly the water view you will be looking for, BUT the place is very convenient to Indiana Dunes, the staff was great at communications, the apartment was quite comfortable and equipped with coffee, tea and even hot chocolate! They even provided ear plugs, but the trains were not a problem so we never used them! Loved the Paya shampoo and lotion. While we enjoyed dinner elsewhere, I think the atmosphere alone would be reason enough to try the Bridges Cafe in the complex!

It was awesome! The room was spotless! I don't normally take baths at hotels but the huge tub was spic and span so I got to soak my tiredness away that night. Since a bigger room with a balcony was available they upgraded us to it, complimentary, and checked us in early! We were worried about the train and big but it was fascinating to watch and the noise didn't bother us at all ! Wonderful place to stay.

The accommodations were fantastic and the suite was quite clean. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette and bathroom were nicely stocked with necessary items. The only negative comment has to do with the trains that run directly behind the building. The sound of the running train, the whistle and the alarm happened several times in the evening and once in the morning. Thank goodness they don't run through the night. Overall, a cozy stay.

Check in process was simple - everything prearranged with personal numeric code for access to the room. The suite was clean, well appointed, and beds were comfortable. Two single beds in our room - don’t know if all the suites are like that. The hotel is in two buildings, obviously converted - sit near an old bridge near the shore (hence the name). The windows were OK but not much of a view (but not a deal breaker). New Buffalo is a short 10 min drive away (we were visiting family there and that’s why we stayed). I would definitely stay here again.

I did not actually stay here, but my customer service experience with them is my reason for this review. I had booked a stay for one night in this charming looking tiny inn, and was contacted a few days prior to our planned stay by the manager or owner, Anna, who informed us that unfortunately due to HVAC issues she would have to cancel our stay. She offered us either a discount off of a future stay, or a 50 dollar credit to the Bridge restaurant next door, and we took her up on the latter. She recommended a number of nearby places to stay instead, and we wound up getting a cheaper room at the Blue Chip casino nearby, and used our fifty dollar credit on some good drinks and typical Americana appetizers. Will definitely stay here if in the area again.
