Staff were friendly and responsive. Our room smelled like a wet dog when we first arrived. We asked the next day for the linens to be changed because they smelled sour. When we returned, the linens were changed. The room smelled of cigarette when we returned. The breakfast was good, good coffee and options. It was convenient for our quick trip to Spartanburg for college visits and not too expensive. Parking was great. Food located close to property. The noise from traffic on I-85 was all night long. It was ok for the price and amenities.

Opening pool was not a priority despite asking several times regarding it, "they were busy upstairs and haven\'t gotten around to it", pool was finally opened around 4pm. Hotel was clean, and housekeeping did check and stock our room daily

The elevator was broke. I had to climb steps. I requested the first floor. I did not get it the first room I went to the air conditioning didn’t work so they had to change me to another one and normally it’s not like this, but it’s got to wear when I go to this one particular place they’re not very customer oriented anymore

Worse stay ever. Power went out and the elevator never worked again. The air conditioning quit working and the room was so HOT. Didn’t have any air movement or anything until 3am. When I asked for a discount they gave me 20%. No where near enough. Would never stay there again or recommend.

I was little nervous in booking this hotel because of some recent reviews, but we had a great experience. It's an older hotel, and it shows in some areas. But, the room felt clean, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. The pool was still closed, though that didn't matter to us. Overall, a good deal for a very short stay in Spartanburg.

As we walked in the lobby was not vacuumed. The hallways were not vacuumed lots of dirt all over the hallways. The room: The bed was comfortable, sheets were clean. The rug in the room is dirty not vacuumed. The bathroom floor was disgusting I tried not to touch anything, and in the bathtub was hair from previous people. The hotel is very outdated. If I had the chance to get my money back I would look for another place to stay. The lights in the room didn't work, only in the bathroom and the room had a smell of the old wet place. Everything was dusty. So I left with a feeling that cleaning services only change bed sheets and slightly clean bathrooms. Online pi tired look much better than the real picture. Look for something else, don’t waist your money

Nice staff but the place is filthy in the Halls, ice machine etc. Carpet in halls are worn with bald patches. Room was clean so kudos to the maid. Not worth the price we paid per night paid.

The property is very outdated but this was reflected in the price. Ravi was helpful getting us checked in an hour before the official check in time. However, the room's A/C unit did not work properly. Remote control for the TV didn't work. Found a roach crawling on the nightstand. The fitness was basically shoved into a small storage room.

We checked into the room kind of late and because of the dark carpet we did not notice that it was soaking wet along the window. There was water leaking from the A/C unit in our room which ruined our luggage and clothes. The leak could not have been new because it had reached all the way to the bed. We pretty much went straight to bed and did not realize until the morning when it was time to check out.

This stay was not the best. We reserved 2 rooms and they smelled awful. The double beds were hard as rocks. The check in took forever and had a line of people waiting. The air in the other room barely worked and it was very hot. No other rooms were available to switch so we just had to deal with it. I was not happy with this stay at all.

I arrived at 1 pm and was told check-in was 3pm. I said I understood and went to lunch with my family. We arrived back at the hotel at 2:45 because my son had a military function at 4 and we had to shower. There was not anyone in the lobby and were told we had to wait until 3pm. Between 2:45 and 3 there were three other people who came to check in. We all sat there with our luggage until 3pm and then had to get in line to check in. In all my years of traveling I have never waited in line when the rooms are available. I understand the 3 pm check in but we all just sat there along with the worker just sitting there until 3 pm until four of us now had to start the process. Please let me know if this is normal protocol and I will be sure to stay somewhere else! It was not because rooms were not ready or it was busy. The worker sat there and looked at all of us until 3 pm. Please advise!

The front desk assistant (lady, about 5'6) was very rude for no reason from the beginning. We had 8 rooms, and part way through, there was a card issue, and she got an even bigger attitude. She then got upset with me because the hotel's card machine was not reading the card. After check-in, we had to switch one of our rooms THREE TIMES. Rooms were not cleaned, white dust was everywhere in one room, gloves were on faucets, beds were unmade, etc. We then had to switch to another of the rooms because it did not have a working toilet. We were lied to and told there were no other 2-Queen bedrooms available, only a King room. My boss had to call and try to get the GM involved just to get a new room since the front desk attendant refused to unclog the toilet. The front desk attendant told us herself that she was treating us poorly because it was not a smooth check in... Not our fault the card reader of the hotel was not working. This was just an all-around horrible hotel experience due to poor customer service and cleanliness. Will not be coming back.

The night shift staff not great. I feel like I was tricked into buying an extra day since they wouldnt let me check in at 2am when I booked the reservation 30 min prior. Not willing to help me at all and had no problem turning us away at that hr unless I forked over the money to buy a stay that started yesterday (which was not an option online). I was even told I would have to check out 11am even though I had a booking for the next day apparently, i which i would have to recheck in at 3pm. Idk... it was the most confusing thing but at 2am I just wanted to sleep. Not a super clean room. Breakfast was the standard with surprisingly good yogurt. Pool was fun but could use some maintenance. Day shift desk clerk was very helpful.

My curtains would not close. The bathroom had stuff on the floor and the toilet paper was not restocked. There is rust all in the bathroom on the walls door is crazy. But the fact that a man walked in my room at 7 am this morning is diabolical. Never again. As a female and a male to just walk in my room is not safe. If I was sleep then what. The only reason he turned around was because he heard me up texting. But this is unacceptable the lady at the front desk was very nonchalant and kind of rude.

When in the area I always choose this hotel. It’s right beside a QT and right off the highway. Also great communication with staff and my family is part Jamaican so I love talking with the front desk check in! Rooms are clean and very decent for the money and with a jacuzzi for my relaxation!

Pretty run down, not the nicest, ripped up carpet in front of our door, door looked like it had been crowbarred open, breakfast was awful. Only good part was front desk lady was very kind, smiling, and welcoming.
