Enjoy your time with your family no matter where you stay. Life is too short to spend precious vacation days stressing over whether every little detail is perfect. ❤️ For context, we have a luxury home with soft Purple mattresses, so are there things here that aren't as luxurious as what we're used to at home? Of course, but we LOVED it here! We stayed three days in Unit 702, a two-bedroom on the lowest level, and had tons of space. Honestly, I could easily stay a week or two. Each bedroom had its own private, fully screened-in patio, which we loved. The mattress was firmer than I'm used to, but we were comfortable, and the pillows were great. The kitchen isn't overly stocked, but it had exactly what we needed. They even provided two packets of laundry detergent. What really stood out was how cozy and peaceful it felt. The water surrounding the property was incredibly calm, and the fog made it even better. The entire resort is much larger than I expected. The buildings have an almost Victorian cottage feel that gives the property so much charm. I would LOVE to come back at Christmas, I bet it's beautiful and incredibly cozy that time of year. It's run by Hilton now, and we would absolutely stay again. It may not have every luxury or the newest finishes, but it was spacious, comfortable, peaceful, and felt like a little home away from home. Sometimes cozy wins. ❤️ Bushes need trimmed so that you can see river/lake better from unit. 😀
