The theme of this hotel is wellness and it's awesome. You walk in and they have ginger lime water, lemon water, and regular water to drink. The rooms are equipped with exercise bands, yoga mat and block, and a foam roller. The gym was large and well equipped and kept at a cool temperature. The lighting in the room is soft. There is an outdoor courtyard and a spacious area inside for eating and getting work done. Overall one of the best hotels I've stayed at and would highly recommend.

The room was very nice and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the little desk and chair. There was a little caddy with a yoga mat and some other excercise things and some clorox wipes which I loved. I only stayed for one night, but there also is a 24 hour gym I was told at the desk, and a snack and drink bar accessible in the lobby. The room was just enough space to move comfortably but wasn’t too big. It was a perfect little stay and just what I needed to save myself some driving time for a trip the next morning. Also is pet friendly, which is very cool.

Visiting family in Norwalk and it was very good value for the cost. No included breakfast but a la carte available and coffee free with a machine that produces your choice rather than just coffee. So had lots of cappuccinos! Robust gym as well with full set of free weights as well as 4 treadmills and 4 ellipticals. And easy access to downtown Norwalk via both highway and Main Street. And definitely walk a quarter mile up Main to Rico Peru for some fantastic ceviche of all types. Prodigious portions. Went twice in 4 days.

This is a great hotel. Clean, comfortable bed, workout equipment in the room, and loved the water/ice station on the floor. Two downsides would be that breakfast is not included (you could purchase breakfast for $18.95, which for me was a little steep given I only would want a beverage and muffin or toast) and that the parking was tight and surprisingly limited because of the number of guests. Located in a busy area with lots of restaurants/stores, and still quiet inside the room. I will stay again.

Claimed to have a bar but no one was there to man it on a weekend.Had drinks in locked fridge but one guy on duty claimed he didn’t have a key to open it so therefore could not sell us any as he was the only person there. If he’s the only person how does he not have keys??? The false advertising on that def angered us. Luckily the hotel down the road accommodated us where u could not. Which is just a loss of revenue I don’t understand why you would want to lose

Stayed 4 nights, room was very nice and well equipped. Clean bathroom and great water pressure. Free coffee machine with pretty decent coffee. Gym was better than most hotel gyms, lots of options for cardio and strength training. Cozy patio with a fire pit and comfortable chairs to enjoy a beverage and/or read, chat. Pleasant staff. Ample free parking.Will definitely stay again and recommend.

Hotel booked and full with only 1 elevator working, ice machine nor working on floors other than 1st. The outside area is nice but not clean and no cushions on furniture. We have stayed here before and were disappointed in the current conditions. The cheap microwave that is for everyone to use is sad and for that type just put them in all the rooms. Our TV had parental locks and nobody knew the codes. We were told on the second day there was an update so they didn't get told the code and that was after calling the front desk 2 times and neither code we were given worked. The bed is comfortable, water is hot and staff friendly.

This hotel is absolutely incredible top to bottom! Amazing staff, excellent property, spotlessly clean, and the room was incredible. Very comfortable bed, all the amenities were top quality and the bathroom and shower were beautiful as was the rest of the hotel and grounds. It had an amazing outdoor patio area with a cozy fire pit. Very welcoming, and the area is beautiful, tons of top notch dining and shopping options, all very close, lots of which are an easy walking distance. On top of all this the price was incredible, it's easily a $200+ a night hotel, for much less. I will be staying here every time im in the area, if i could rate it more than 5 stars I would.

I was a little upset with the room as far as it being cleaned properly. Someone's personal items (Condom) was left on the floor and seeing that it was late when i got back to my room there was no cleaning staff so i had to remove myself! Tried calling down stairs and my call never got answered It was horrible! I just slept on top of the bed never got in it as i was disgusted. It was only for 3 days so i made it through. Just talk to the cleaning staff and let them know that cleaning a room is not just emptying the garbage and changing the sheets/towels. Mirrors in the bathroom need to be cleaned as well everyone's toothpaste splattered everywhere. I stay here all the time and this by far was not the Best.

Being an IHG brand the property did not reflect that. The first room had hair in the shower and so we asked to change. The second room was also very dirty - floors, toilet seat, the hallways. The guest services line did not work in the first room, the front desk agent was not friendly, the night audit was missing for a period of time (only realized as i went down for extra towels). overall very poor experience

Friendly staff, clean room with daily linen service, and convenient breakfast service. Lots of socializing areas in main lobby area. Internet super fast. The bed was heaven but the bathroom was larger than average with ample counter space for 2 to 3 people. Cleanest room ever experienced, better than a Fairmont.

The day I made the booking on Expedia, this property was highlighted as a good deal so I grabbed it since it was a quick one night stay. So I knew I was getting a bargain. The staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate. I called the hotel when I subsequently found out it advertises as specifically pet friendly. I wanted a room that was reserved for no pets because of allergies. They could not guarantee that. But they put me on top floor which they said is generally no pets. The room was not clean. As soon as I took a first look around I found pools of dust and some shavings that looked like work had been done along the sideboards near bed and even a small dead spider. In the bathroom i saw dust and hair on the floor. It was clear this room had not been cleaned well or maybe not cleaned in a while. They changed my room. The new room was cleaner, but, during a basic look at mattress for bed bugs (something i do regardless of room but especially in this case), there was dirt and hair under the sheet. The mattress had no mattress cover. I took pictures and showed the front desk. If you get a good deal to stay here and are not fussy about things that I noted, then it is fine. But i suggest an earlier check -in so that housekeeping is still on premises and can go in and touch up whatever you find lacking.

You couldn’t even buy a bottle of water. - Water dispenser didn’t work on floor 2 so I had to go to main floor to get water and they only had small 6oz cups. - Bathroom was filthy - hand prints on the mirror, hair in the shower, blood around the edge or bathtub. - Room was had a smoke smell.

The air conditioner was noisy, bed and pillows was comfortable, TV remote was not great. Did not like the shade, could not have outside light and privacy , because the shade on top of blackout was not sheer enough and was yellow colored. Should have sheer curtains over blackout shade. Shower door would not stay closed.

This hotel advertised having a restaurant and bar, this was an exaggeration. The food was ordered through a walk up window, the "bar" had 5 stools and a very limited menu in the lobby area, limited hours for both. Our room didn't have a dresser to unpack, the "closet" was small. No microwave. bathroom had glass doors facing the bed.

Overall the room we had at 204 was a lot to be desired. The window you can’t even see out of because it has a permanent stain on it. That looks almost like frost, but it is not. Overall the rooms need to be updated. It’s very dreary and not inviting. I feel like I’m boxed in with all the same color. The lighting is so in adequate. Our bathroom sink just trickles. You can’t even wash your hands properly.

Overall it is a great hotel. The only thing we were not thrilled about were the bathroom doors. They are frosted glass barn doors. You can almost see through them and if anyone uses the bathroom at night the whole room lights up. Also, there are open cracks on the side so you don't have as much privacy. And the bathroom door stuck and was very hard and noisy to open and close.

For a workout/health conscious hotel. The employees pushed the bar onto you heavily, the front desk and empty regularly. Stood there for exactly 13 minutes waiting to checking out. Used the phone in the wall to call the desk literally 10 feet away. Went to the breakfast window and rang the bell, a lady said “ be right with you” I waited 6 minutes and she never came. So if you are sober or are trying to be sober or are in a rush. I do not recommend

Some of the staff at this property were very kind, including the cleaning guy. However the front desk woman was extremely rude to me and my wife. After a long day, we were grabbing a couple snacks and heading to check out to PAY FOR THEM. And the front desk woman screamed across the lobby at us that we had to pay…as we were pulling out our credit card to swipe it. I thought this was extremely disrespectful and rude.

The front desk check-in was very slow. When I was finally checked in, I was handed my room cards, but the woman didn't tell me what room I was in! When I asked, she said, "I wrote it on the slip" (inside the card envelope), as if it was rude of me to ask!

We arrived at 3 am due to a delayed flight and the overnight staff, desk attendant wouldn’t check us in for 20 mins until she completed a task she was working on and came across as if we were a deal inconvenience to her. All we wanted to do was quickly check in and catch some sleep after a long day of travel and were treated very poorly upon arrival.

This was such an unpleasant experience due to the two employees working in the lobby. The check in was fine. Then I wanted to buy a snack and I asked the people at the front desk if I should pay them and they said to pay at the computer. I asked twice to point it out and they kept pointing and I did not see it. So I asked if one of them (neither was busy and both were on their phones) could just show me and the man walked over to show me —and he made sure I knew he was bothered by my request. I thanked him. No eye contact. Then when my card wasn’t read by the machine numerous times I asked for help again. Both of them were again on their phones. They didn’t hear me so I asked again. Once more my ask for help was met with passive aggressive body language so I said that it’s their job to help guests rather than staring at their phones. I had to then go to my car and when I walked back in one of the desk employees was walking out and called me a b——-. I responded by saying that’s really nice. I felt terrible. I told my husband and he was very upset (as was I) and in lieu of his saying something he insisted that I write this review and contact the manager. I’ve never been called that to my face before and it was so upsetting.

Our go to hotel when visiting the CT/NY area. Clean rooms with quiet locations. A short drive to catch the train to NYC. This time, the market in the lobby hadn’t been stocked so there were no drinks other than alcoholic drinks in the fridge and staff were nowhere to be found. Other than that, Still a great place to stay.

Breakfast is extra charge of $5. There is no buffet. There are 3 things you can order from a window. Scrambled eggs which are not good possibly powered eggs. Waffle or oatmeal. There is no fruit juice. It is help yourself to the grocery store for coffee or whatever juice they may have. Not great but it is something if you are short on time.

The hotel is fine- the sheets on the pull out sofa were dirty. No big deal we got new linens. The major issue is with dining. The free breakfasts at other hotels far surpassed what this hotel offered. The “cook” was rude and demanding the food was disgusting we did not eat it and went out for breakfast elsewhere. I would stay there again but would not pay extra for breakfast.
