Location close to the freeway. Price was very affordable. Parking is easy and safe

Not bad for just a quick stay, do not expect anything too nice. Pool is small (which is fine), but not maintained properly and dirty. Bedding had stains and hair, shower condition was like a typical motel...breakfast was kind of gross and stale. The coffee machine was broken and unable to use. I would expect more from Holiday Inn since they advertise like they are clean and quality. Unacceptable.

The hotel was very clean and felt safe! I loved that I could walk to the University of Dayton Arena and that they provided a great breakfast. Plus parking is included! The front desk workers were very sweet!

easy access from interstate 75. has gas stations and couple of fast food restaurants around. large area for breakfast. liked that the parking was free and had complimentary breakfast. close to carillon park and walking distance to University of Dayton basketball arena.

Conveniently located right off the highway in a quiet area, it's a good place to stop for the night while on a road trip. The rooms were clean and in good condition. The fitness centre was pretty minimalistic and the pool was out of service when we were there.

Close to Mcdonalds and wendy's and 2 large gas stations. Easy to get on and off I-75. Close to dowtown dayton. Enjoy the breakfast seating area to play games with my family.

The pool was nice.

Passed the drive twice, the hotel sign needs to be closer to the drive entrance. Hotel key didn't work for the pool or the side door. At times I saw the door propped open, which I feel is a security issue. Only ice maker working was on the third floor, should be a working one on each floor.

Enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly, pool was nice, breakfast was amazing.

Room was nice and clean, good breakfast, nice fitness center. The only thing I didn't like is the mold in the shower.

Went to breakfast at the hotel breakfast area at 9 am. We returned to our room to find the door ajar. Inside was a man who claimed be was there to make the bed. We told him we are checking out today . We asked what time was checkout. He replied he didn't know. We told him to leave and a little while later hear a knock on the door and two guys said they were there to make the bed again. We brought this incident to the hotel managers attention at checkout and she didn't think it was a big deal.S he told us the guy in our room was the cleaning guy. Offered IHG points for the issue. We declined. Bathroom had lots of ants on the floor as well.

It took about 15 minutes to get to the front of the line to check in but many checking in at once. The bedding given for the sofa bed was stained and food wrappers were found in the fitted sheet. The bathroom had black mold all over the ceiling and the exhaust fan didn’t work. The property was pretty run down on the inside. The breakfast was good and had many good options. We did show the front desk the mold picture at checkout.

Unfortunately the bathroom floors were incredibly sticky. Did not exactly inspire a feeling of cleanliness.

1st it’s adjacent to a high speed highway that could be heard from our room. 2nd our room had a constant drip in the shower with black mold. 3rd either someone smoked or died in the king suite they moved us to because it was unsuccessfully deodorized with an overpowering sickly sweet cleaning agent.

Staff was courteous, bed very comfortable, room but spacious and clean. But the bathroom was not cleaned well (toilet, hair in shower, used wash clothes still hanging from shower curtain.

Staff was courteous and friendly; modern looking hotel; cleanliness was top notch; parking area was well lit; beds and pillows were wonderful!

The hotel was a good price and it was kept up nicely. The breakfast was great and the room was nice. Our room faced the highway and there was a lot of truck traffic so a little noisy. The people I. The floor above us sounded like 40 kids running around all evening. They were very loud. Too be fair I did not bring this to the hotel’s attention so it’s not really their fault.

Reserved room with sofa bed and no linens were available for it. Also could not pull it out all the way because the air conditioner. Water pressure was not great. Staff was nice and beds were comfortable. Nice breakfast.

Check in was super easy! The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was nice, clean and big enough for our family of five.

Great customer service. Very clean and well stocked room. BUT TV was not very good. Poor display. It I didn’t stay there to watch much TV Overall. Super place to stay. Very happy.

Very close to the highway and noisy. Shower very slow. Body wash and shampoo do not wash off easily.

I had problems locating the hotel. I called for directions and the desk woman stayed on the phone with me until I reached the property. Extremely nice!!

The property was fine. The hotel was clean, the room was large and well maintained, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked. The biggest problem was when I needed to change my reservation. I arrived in Dayton early and tried to book two extra nights. The desk clerk told me there were no rooms. When I told him that two online services said there were he said I couldn't book the same type of room. That was quite a claim considering that he didn't know my name or what kind of reservation I had. I got the clear impression that he didn't want to be bothered. I ended up staying at another local hotel for the extra nights. I had originally booked a two night stay but something came up and I had to check out early. I asked but the front desk said that because I booked through Expedia I couldn't change the reservation. I tried to contact Expedia but apparently they don't want to talk to customers. I couldn't cancel the second night online and the best "help" I could find in the app was a "virtual assistant" that did nothing but display irrelevant canned responses. I had to leave so I ended up paying for a hotel night that I did not use. What I learned is that unless my travel plans that involve a stay of more than one night are carved in stone and cannot possibly change I should NOT book through Expedia. Very sad because I've been an Expedia customer for years and have never before had problems like those I experienced on this trip.

The staff at the Holiday Inn Express were so friendly and helpful! The front desk got us an early check-in and the breakfast service was excellent. It is not a high-end hotel, but the staff and cleanliness made it a good experience.

Staff went over and above amazing Service!! Have a loved one in ICU at near by hospital and made me fill like family and they can never know how much that meant in my time of need!! I would stay in this hotel a million times over!! Beds are amazing! Great breakfast but first and foremost the Level of Customer service was the best I have ever had!! Thank you Holiday Inn staff!!!!

Very good for visiting u of Dayton. Extremely close to campus. Good breakfast and variety and 24 hour fresh brew coffee/tea in the lobby. Not a lot of amenities in immediate area, mostly surrounded by gas stations and fast food.

We came to experience the Dayton Celtic Festival and your hotel was safe, clean and close to the Downtown! We enjoyed your stay. It was easy to sleep in, especially with the black out curtains. I enjoyed the breakfast. We appreciated how easy it was to get to the hotel, how easy it was to check-in, how easy it was to get out and on our way to the festival. Thumbs up!

The property is very good and very convenient to University of Dayton Arena for Ohio high school basketball tournament.

Good hotel, close to downtown.

Availability of dine in restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel were non existent. We had to drive about 20 minutes to find something suitable.

Everything about our stay was great, except for the breakfast. Check in was quick, front desk staff was amazing, our room was great. The breakfast was probably the worst that we'd had at a Holiday Inn. The biscuits were all overdone. The pancake machine wasn't working. The breakfast area wasn't very clean. The garbage cans were overflowing. It was definitely not a typical Holiday Inn breakfast experience.

Really tasty free breakfast with great service by the attendant morning of 8/18/25. Went out of her way to help us.

Very clean hotel but word of warning with breakfast, when they say it's over at 9:30, they mean 9:29. I had some eggs and sausage--which was good!--but went to go get some yogurt and a banana and they closed the doors in my face as I was walking toward the area, then ignored my knocking on the door. Otherwise the stay was fine.

Big, beautiful, clean rooms. Looked newly renovated. Service was good, for limited staff. Night front desk did not have a runner to bring up extra towels needed for surgery washes. Breakfast was decent, especially the cinnamon rolls.

Really cozy and convenient with clean rooms and good breakfast.

What a delightful surprise..conveniently located near the UD Stadium and the highway. My large, clean room was most enjoyable after a rong trip on the road. Big bed soft sheets, ample space to work, nice hot breakfast with a variety of choices (poor coffee and creamers however), staff who checked me in was quite pleasant at a late hour.
