No Pool. Need I say more. Looked at what the hotel had to offer when booking and the pool area looked nice. Got there and checked in. After all was paid and signed, we were informed that the pool was down for the weekend. I have 2 kids that have been sitting in a car for hours and expecting to get to swim when we get there only to find out that there is nowhere for them to get all of there energy out. Shouldn't there be some money taken off the top if the pool is out. If we would have known we would have stayed somewhere else. Absolute garbage!

The location was very convenient, and the property itself was well maintained. The only issue we had was an extremely strong smell of cleaning chemicals as soon we opened the door to our room. It took half a day with the window open to clear the smell. Other than that, the gentleman working the front counter was fantastic, polite, and expedient. The pool and hot tub were clean and working properly. The sauna was out of order but that wasn't a big deal to us. Overall, pleased with our stay.

We've stayed here twice for five days or more, the accommodation is adequate but perhaps the hotel is slightly dated. Beds are fabulously comfy, though, and honestly that's my top priority after price (nice to have a good pool and jacuzzi too). The sauna has been "out of order" for more than a year, I suspect it's been permanently decommissioned. I managed to use the any time fitness gym last time I stayed, this time the dongle didn't work on my one free day so I missed out. If you plan to use the gym maybe best to contact the hotel in advance to let them know. Free breakfast is cereal, waffles, yogurt, endless coffee, hard boiled eggs, breakfast sausages and baby corn dogs. I brought my own lucky charms because I'm eccentric. The hotel was practically full for my last stay, mostly builders/contractors/workers, some issues with noise in the evening but we weren't inconvenienced at all.

Wonderful place to stay when traveling back and forth to Pelican Lake. Bb Jacks good pizza in town! Been staying her for up north Vacation for years. Friendly staff at Super 8! Hot tub works great and pool is nice!

Good location. Plenty of restaurants and retail nearby. Hotel is showing its age. Run down. Old carpeting, worn out. Toilet tank would not refill with water. No knobs on the air conditioner to turn the temperature down or turn it off. Coffee was cold. Average breakfast assortment. Would I stay here again? Only if there was no other choice in town.

The property and room was clean and welcoming. The staff greeted and checked us in fast. The room had a pleasent smell. The amenities very more than adequate for our stay. The breakfast had a variety of options (at least for me). I did enjoy the Bagel and egg sandwich, and nice and warm coffee. My wife and I are so happy we chose to stay with Super 8. We are definitely coming back.

I was charged $16/day for dog fee even though my room was NEVER cleaned. It probable didn't take any extra time, due to the dog, even when the room was cleaned. I could never cool the room down.

I will not be coming back again. Everything was broken in my room, my keycard wouldn’t even work because they need new locks. The night shift lady lady complained when she had to keep re swiping it and was telling me it’s because I put my phone by it! No I did not!!!!!!! It’s just janky and needs an update!! The only great thing was the beds were comfty!

Felt welcomed, safe, front desk was very nice. One thing the building has no elevator and it can be troublesome for older folks to go up and down the stairs. Rooms were a bit small and the chairs in the room were uncomfortable. The breakfast could be better not much selection, but all in all the hotel was nice and we would give it an 8 out 10

I've stayed here many times the past few years and it's always pleasant. Room is clean, bed is comfy, there's a comfy recliner, and it has a mini fridge and microwave. The location is excellent with restaurants and other shopping within walking distance. The staff is always friendly too. I will return next time I am in town.

Requires a deposit to stay and they don’t tell you till you check in , then the staff is required to inform you that it may take up to 7 business days to get it back only after you’ve paid for the deposit. Now keep in mind you just showed up for a reservation you made in advance so now finding another room anywhere is not only nearly impossible but you’ve already paid for the reservation and the unmentioned required deposit. Then when you check out it’s apparently the staffs job to inspect room at time of check out to only find something wrong like “ it smells like cigarette smoke in the room” in which I promise y’all there was No smoking in that room, too unable a forfeiture of your deposit. Then if by chance they release the funds to your deposit their back is so unrecognizable that it takes 3 weeks for your back to release you the funds. Now with that being said just hope you didn’t need that money to feed your kids, yourself or even to get gas to return home which is more than a hundred mile’s away. SO THAT WAS THE WORST Stay I’ve ever had anywhere

The place is dated, but the price was right. Owners wonderful and everything was so clean. We were there for a family reunion and they were so accommodating to our group. Rooms were spaciouus and it was quiet at night. Does it need some upgrades, yes but if you are traveling on a budget and need a family-friendly place to stay this is perfect.

See my survey response on “how did check in go”. I reserved the 1 King Suite and they did not have the room I reserved, and tried to switch me into a 2 Queen room, which was too small for my family. They wanted to charge me for 2nd room. I cancelled my room with them. I have only stayed at Super 8 a couple times, and will never again. Terrible experience for me and my family.

The room was simple, but very clean and had all of the features most people would want. This property was near everything in town. It is not a newer building, but is well maintained. One exception was that the pool and hot tub room was temporarily closed upon arrival. It reopened before my checkout date though. I would stay here again. The rates are very competitive and affordable.

.We stayed here after my uncle's 100th birthday party. We chose this hotel because it was close to the party at the bowling alley. It is dog friendly, but was our dogs first stay at a hotel. We were the only ones there, so we had the run of the place. But, the Packer game was not on! No local channels. The desk guy brought us a different smart TV so we eventually got the game on. Continental breakfast was good!
