Hotel is in a quiet part of Sayulita, about 1.5 miles from downtown. A shot walk to the beach. Pool was amazing and the staff was helpful with providing dining options. Good A/C, wifi was slow. Would not hesitate to stay here again if back in Sayulita.

We had such a great time staying at Casa Real in Sayulita. The location is amazing — super close to the beach, shops, and tons of great food, but still quiet enough to relax at night. It made it really easy to get around without having to worry about taxis or long walks. The hotel itself is really chill and comfortable. Everything was clean and nicely kept, and the vibe was relaxed in the best way. The pool was great for cooling off after a beach day or just taking a break in the afternoon. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help out. The only small downside was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit spotty at times, especially when the kids were trying to stream something. But honestly, we didn’t mind much — we were out enjoying Sayulita most of the time anyway. If you’re looking for a spot that’s walkable, low-key, and great for families, Casa Real is a solid choice. We’d definitely stay there again.

Quiet little hotel a ten minute walk to the town square and a short walk to the beach. I went to enjoy the beach and it was very convenient. The room was very basic, but everything you needed. Beautiful courtyard with a coffee area and a pool. I would gladly spend more time there. Very clean and well kept.

Hotel was OK, but starting to show its age. No serious issues, but water supply to rooms was often on and off. Sometimes you had water, other times none. It apparently was due to some kind of issue with main pump from the Cistern to the building. May off been a one off, but thats how it was. Staff are absolutely Amazing! Always happy and pleasent, would do what ever they cpuld to help you out or make your stay more comfortable. Never seen any of them without a smile and a Hello. I have been to A LOT of hotels, resorts, properties of all kinds and all kinds of places. This little hotel has by far the best staff Inhave ever seen in my 30 odd years of traveling! The attitude, and just over all happiness was bybfar the best I have seen and made up for the bit of dissapointment in the property itself. Great job! The pool and garden was well maintained and a pleasue to relax in after a day of exploration, so also a "Well Done" to the staff for maintaining it to the standard they did. Now if the property owner would just invest a little to upgrade the building a bit, then this little out of the way Hotel could easily be taken to a new level...All the main parts are there, just give it a little polish!

Stayed here for a weekend getaway. Location is about a 10min walk to downtown and a block away from the beach. The room wasn’t spotless but it was clean. WiFi wasn’t the best but we didn’t mind since we were there to disconnect and relax. The staff was very nice and helpful especially Luisa. We rented a golf cart for the day through the hotel which was very convenient. We had an issue with the cart and it left us stranded. Once we got back to the hotel Luisa was trying to find us another cart so we didn’t miss out on our hours. Since it was late we decided to use the cart the following day. Luisa made sure the cart was ready for us. Would definitely recommend to stay if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy quality time with family or friends.

The pool area was nice and the hotel was easy walking distance to the beach and town. Quiet location. There are also golf carts to rent. The room was clean but the fridge had a very loud squeaking noise when opened. There was a kitchen but no dishes or cutlery or water glasses in the suite. Unfortunately the gazebo and the back garden was unkept and did not look like the photos. We left 2 days early.

The lack of communication from the staff was the worst experinece. We stayed there for 8 days. They knew exactly what time we are returning. They waited for the last minute to inform us that our check in is one hour late and wanted us to pay. Paying them $500 did not hurt me. But I did not appreciate the fact that we used to talk to reception desk everyday twice and they did not inform us about check out time. The moment we were 30 minutes over the check out time, they asked us for payment. Very poor customer service

Love this little hotel, we would definitely stay here again. Leo & Maria are very helpful and both speak excellent English. The location is perfect, close walk to many eateries, groceries and 1.5 blocks to the beach. This hotel is on the north end, so it’s a lot quieter than the south end / plaza. If you’re looking for some “excitement” it’s an easy 15 min walk to the heart of Sayulita (which we called crazy town haha). Hotel pool is lovely, the beds are very comfortable, the a/c works well and is quiet. Rooster across the street it a little loud, but it’s Mexico, what can ya do :) Highly recommend this little gem.

We had such a great time staying at Casa Real in Sayulita. The location is amazing — super close to the beach, shops, and tons of great food, but still quiet enough to relax at night. It made it really easy to get around without having to worry about taxis or long walks. The hotel itself is really chill and comfortable. Everything was clean and nicely kept, and the vibe was relaxed in the best way. The pool was great for cooling off after a beach day or just taking a break in the afternoon. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help out. The only small downside was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit spotty at times, especially when the kids were trying to stream something. But honestly, we didn’t mind much — we were out enjoying Sayulita most of the time anyway. If you’re looking for a spot that’s walkable, low-key, and great for families, Casa Real is a solid choice. We’d definitely stay there again.

The property was beautiful. Staff were very kind from check-in until check out. One thing that was inconvenient was the towel situation. We booked a room for four people but were only given two towel sets, and had to ask the front desk for extra towels. Even after our room was cleaned we were still given only two towel sets, but the front desk was quick to action our requests.

Hotel was OK, but starting to show its age. No serious issues, but water supply to rooms was often on and off. Sometimes you had water, other times none. It apparently was due to some kind of issue with main pump from the Cistern to the building. May off been a one off, but thats how it was. Staff are absolutely Amazing! Always happy and pleasent, would do what ever they cpuld to help you out or make your stay more comfortable. Never seen any of them without a smile and a Hello. I have been to A LOT of hotels, resorts, properties of all kinds and all kinds of places. This little hotel has by far the best staff Inhave ever seen in my 30 odd years of traveling! The attitude, and just over all happiness was bybfar the best I have seen and made up for the bit of dissapointment in the property itself. Great job! This is the perfect budget-friendly stay in Sayulita. Clean rooms with large, comfortable beds and the pool/amenities were great. Staff were helpful and friendly. It’s also a great place for somebody looking for a quieter stay. Everything is walkable from here. The beach, main square, the footpaths to San Pancho and the bus station. I couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for something on the north side of town. I made use of the excellent food options in town and did not use the kitchenette in my suite, however a small note would be that that area would benefit from some more basic cooking supplies (like a knife, chopping board), but plates a cutlery could be found down in the common area.

Love this little hotel, we would definitely stay here again. Leo & Maria are very helpful and both speak excellent English. The location is perfect, close walk to many eateries, groceries and 1.5 blocks to the beach. This hotel is on the north end, so it’s a lot quieter than the south end / plaza. If you’re looking for some “excitement” it’s an easy 15 min walk to the heart of Sayulita (which we called crazy town haha). Hotel pool is lovely, the beds are very comfortable, the a/c works well and is quiet. Rooster across the street it a little loud, but it’s Mexico, what can ya do :) Highly recommend this little gem.

Quiet little hotel a ten minute walk to the town square and a short walk to the beach. I went to enjoy the beach and it was very convenient. The room was very basic, but everything you needed. Beautiful courtyard with a coffee area and a pool. I would gladly spend more time there. Very clean and well kept.

The pool area was nice and the hotel was easy walking distance to the beach and town. Quiet location. There are also golf carts to rent. The room was clean but the fridge had a very loud squeaking noise when opened. There was a kitchen but no dishes or cutlery or water glasses in the suite. Unfortunately the gazebo and the back garden was unkept and did not look like the photos. We left 2 days early.

Casa Real Hotel is a simple, nice hotel. Very convenient to the beach and restaurants. Staff was helpful and friendly. A few things were a bit quirky like the stove top, the fan, the hot water, but nothing that made the stay unpleasant. I would stay again.

Only downsides are that They only offered coffee and water but we knew that going into it. My kids and I absolutely fell in love with this place. The location was perfect—ideal for anyone who prefers to stay away from the busy tourist areas while still being close enough to downtown Sayulita. The staff were wonderful, the service was outstanding, and the rooms were exceptionally clean.

Pool was great. Nice quiet area beside the roosters in the morning which was funny. so close to everything. For the price you cant beat it. The bed was comfy. the shower was amazing. not much you can complain about here. Always coffee ready and available that was good.
