I booked the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bryan-College Station partly because of the beautiful pool shown on their website. Unfortunately, that pool is not part of the hotel at all—it belongs to a private facility called THE COVE, which requires membership or local residency to access. Guests have no access to it whatsoever. This is very misleading and feels like false advertising. On a separate note, the bathtub in my room was very slippery—I almost fell, which is a safety concern. On the positive side, the hotel itself was clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and nice (though some were not as approachable as others). Parking was convenient, and the pool area that the hotel does have is small, but it worked fine for us since only my son and I were using it. The breakfast was also very good. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, breakfast, and convenience, but I can’t say for sure if I would return, mainly because of the misleading pool photo and the safety concern with the slippery tub.

One of the elevators was down for maintenance, and we happened to be staying on a weekend when lots of sporting events were happening. This made it really difficult to catch the elevator at times. Other than that, everything was fine.

Nice hotel within minutes to College Station restaurants and about fifteen minutes from Texas A&M! Our only complaint was the pool area which was small with no shade and limited seating!

Easy access from the highway and located some distance off the road with other hotels nearby. Clean rooms, we looked at two, and well stocked breakfast buffet. AC in the rooms but not in corridors to the rooms. Liked the well lighted surrounding property at night.

This hotel was very easy to get to, very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and well-maintained, all the way until it ended, which was at 10:30. This is later than most hotels serve breakfast, which I appreciated. They kept it fully stocked. I also appreciate the refillable toiletries instead of the small bottles. I only wish they had recycling.

We went for a weekend trip to the safari and it was perfect. Hotel was clean, hot water good, and all services were on point. We wanted a hotel with a pool for a quick swim for the kids and the pool was perfect. It was very clean water and nice for the kids to swim. They had towel service in the side. We got the breakfast buffet and food was nice. Since the kids woke early, it was not as busy as later. It was an Aggie's game weekend so we were worries that it was crowded but it was not. Very enjoyable weekend thanks to the hotel.

Elevator closes way too fast you barely have time to get on before it almost close only my son as we were trying to get our luggage in. Very dangerous

It was great until I tried to make coffee in the room’s kurig. I wanted to add water and noticed that it was full. I shook it a bit and noticed something floating then realized it was full of mold! Yuk! If I had let my kid make me coffee, I would have drunk mold! I called down to complain. They didn’t offer to change out the machine and since it was late I said not to bother with it.

We had a great stay in Bryan TX. The breakfast was good, the beds comfortable and things were great for the most part. The only thing I didn't like was that we arrived late in the evening and there was sticky pop on the night stand. I use a cpap machine so I noticed it right away and had to clean it up myself. I then noticed the bottom of the shower and the bathroom floor were dirty. I am usually super happy with Holiday Inn Express, so not used to seeing those things. I am sure it was a rare occurrance, but wasn't happy about it still.

Had ants in the room and the front desk had someone come and spray what appeared to be simple green and vacuumed (per the manager from what I was told). The ants were still there. I will not be returning.

The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. my only complaint is it felt like the AC was not on in the hallways. You walked out of your room and the hallway was incredibly warm. The room itself was great though - no issues.

My family and I traveled to CS for a graduation. This hotel is not too far from TAMU. I paid for the suite which is just a sofa bed so that’s all the extra space. I wished I had done 2 rooms for that price instead. Nonetheless, our room was clean and sufficient plus all we needed was provided. The free breakfast was okay and well stocked. I’m still waiting for the $20 pending charge to be taken off my credit card as we left room with everything in place. We would never damage or take anything. I’ve never had that charge before plus I had to pay $20 extra for the suite. The best part of our stay is that it was a clean and quiet room for a night’s stay plus the location.

Went to College Station for the Aggie football game. Nice quiet room. Excellent breakfast with omelette and great cinnamon rolls. The king bedroom was huge. The hotel was in Bryan but only 2 miles from campus

Very clean - close to many things in the BCS area. Check in was having some computer issues. The younger female was pretty rude to the man in front of me, then my card showed it was charged but computer was showing it was not - showed my acct and they gave me room key as it was prepaid. That night we were locked out as she told my husband card was declined - showed the bank statement again AFTER they charged my husband's card as well., Hotel itself was clean and BED very comfy - need some training in professionalism.

Went to check in just a little early and the young man said i couldn't until 3. Without no eye contact, then turned away. Went out to car and saw him check a person in five minutes later. I walked back in and asked a different person if i could check in and they said no problem.

We had a terrible experience with the front desk receptionist named Hope. She was extremely rude and was the least interested in serving guests and making sure their needs were met. When we had requested to check out 30 min later then the checkout time, the response was a straight no with a warning that we would be charged if we stayed a minute extra. I have never experienced such behavior within the hospitality industry. A little bit of courtesy in how you treat guests goes a long way and I would question staying at another holiday inn express given my stay here.

Alyssa, front desk staff is extremely rude! Wouldn’t greet and stared down customers like she’s going to jump them when they fist walked in. She won’t check you in even two minutes early before the check in time and make you wait even though there’s no customer in the lobby or parking lot, it’s totally empty! What a terrible service!! I’d never recommended anyone to stay here and never come back again! I hope management take this matter seriously and remove her from your team!

My go to place when I visit my daughter and her family in Bryan. Very quiet, comfortable with a friendly staff and convenient to Bryan, College Statiion and Texas A&M campus, where my daughter teaches. Cross the Earl Rudder Freeway from the hotel and you are on University 2 miinutes from theTexas Avenue intersection with Bryan to the right and College Station and TAMU right there on the left.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in College Station! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and the location made it easy to get to Texas A&M and nearby restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Hotel was great - very clean and new. The free breakfast was wonderful except for one item. The pancake machine does not make good pancakes. They were half cooked. My suggestion - get rid of the pancakes and get one of those waffle machines that some hotels have in their breakfast.

I think they should start breakfast a little early. Our softball team stayed there and our girls were looking for something to drink besides coffee and water but they were out of orange and apple juice right when they started to serve breakfast (6:30).

Excellent stay, very clean and staff was friendly. Only negative through the whole stay was the breakfast. The coffee was not good, the eggs were so rubbery no one could get past the texture (looked like spray foam insulation). The only thing edible was the cereal and between the 6 of us we had some of everything so this is not an exaggeration. I’d stay there again, just plan to get our coffee and breakfast elsewhere

The first impression I had was the friendly staff at check in. They represented the hotel well. Then the full breakfast and eating/serving area was so nice, clean and always seemed to be stocked. There was plenty of small details that were well thought out.
