The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures at all. Looks like the owner has neglected the maintenance of the property, everything is falling apart. The furniture is cheap, odd and tacky. The lock of hour room was basically broken and unsafe. In general, the vibe is eery. Food was horrible and extremely expensive. We preferred to loose our money and don’t stay the second night. I’m not sure if the previous reviews are the owner’s friends & family as it is definitely not true. As a Mexican, I’ve never experience something like this in my country.

A slight ocean view. Room was clean. The staff very courteous. This is not a hotel for everybody. The area is remote on a gravel, washboard road so it’s not for everybody. We enjoyed it though! We saw lots and lots of whales. Took a tour of the reef! Which was super!

We had such a relaxing and memorable stay here. My daughter and I truly loved it, and Shawnee and her staff were absolutely wonderful. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the directions and check-in process were so easy and stress-free. For a newer property, it’s clear how much care and heart is being put into creating something really special. Every single meal we ate was so yummy, and by the end of our trip the staff truly felt like family. Their warmth and kindness made the experience even more special and welcoming. I’ve honestly never felt safer at a hotel. Every night I would walk out to the beach and sit under the stars for hours and felt completely at ease. Being so remote and surrounded by nature, with absolutely no light pollution, the stars and moon were incredibly bright and breathtaking. Each night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves—it was pure peace. The atmosphere was calm, secluded, and exactly what we were looking for—the perfect place to truly unwind and reconnect. A couple helpful tips for future guests: be sure to book a large vehicle or reach out to the hotel to arrange transportation. The drive is quite an adventure—about an hour and a half on very bumpy, remote terrain—so having the right transportation makes all the difference. I also recommend stopping by a grocery store beforehand to grab essentials like toothpaste, snacks, bug spray, and a blow dryer.
