The staff was the best: so nice and helpful. Best relation between quality and price. The rooms are big, clean, with fridge, caffee and microwave. Placed near restaurants and place for live concerts (Valley Tavern). It has a complementary breakfast which is also nice (yogurt, caffee, tea, sweet things, juice). I'll definitely repeat if I'll come back to the south part of the Smoky Mountains and Appalachian reserve.

It was very enjoyable week. Each staff member I met was friendly and ready to help in any way. Checked everyday to see if I needed anything. Even though breakfast was not listed every morning till 10 hot coffee healthy snack food choices and pastry choices were available. The room was large very comfortable.

It is not fancy but it’s clean and comfortable. I like to do business at “mom and pop” type businesses. There is a nice pool, grilling area, fire pit area and rocking chairs in front of the rooms. I will definitely stay here again!

It was an easy last minute booking to make. A business meeting in the mountains. The motel was easy to find. Located right on the road. Parking area is ample enough with assigned spaces. There is noise from the road, can not be helped. Rocking chairs located outside room for your enjoyment . It’s close to all the venues and activities in the area. Room with king bed is spacious. Offered a table with 2 stuffed chairs, a deck with a chair, dresser which holds a frig, microwave and coffee maker. The king bed was comfortable enough. Would recommend extra pillows. Bathroom is clean and again spacious. Because of its location I wouldn’t be opposed to staying here again.

The owners are very kind and eager to help with directions and restaurant/entertainment. Always in to clean the room daily and offers coffee and snacks in the morning. We also used the outside cooking pavilion for nice dinner preparation. Was very nice and pleasant stay. I will stay here again.

Good location. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Mattress and pillows felt old and flat. Rust in sink, old closet rods that the hangers couldn't slide across, small TV with no swivel. Bathroom door didn't close completely. Had to ask for a hair dryer. Seemed very tired.

It was acceptable. Nothing too crazy. When we walked in, there was an unbearable floral scent, that we had to open the door to air it out. It was cold for the most part, so we had to turn the heat on. The rooms were clean. This was the only available stay when I was looking for lodging and accommodations, overall it was fair..

I'm not very picky, but I have to give an honest review. The woman in the office was very kind, but the office smelled very strong like smoke. They clearly smoke indoors or where the smoke blows back inside, which was very off-putting for someone who doesn't smoke. Thankfully they offer nonsmoking rooms. The room was a bit dated and the mattresses are pretty hard, but they're very, very clean. The walls are paper-thin, though. You can hear EVERYTHING going on outside and next door. I sleep with earbuds no matter where I am, but my husband was kept up all night by the kids in the next room, traffic, and people knocking on doors (even several doors down). I really want to give a great review, but I'm happy that we only booked for one night because the noise was just too much.

Staff was rude. Me and my daughter was sitting in the swing at the hotel and the owner came out and had the audacity to ask us if we were homeless? I was so humiliated and embarrassed. Then they said we trashed the room which there were only a couple pieces of paper on the floor. They said the sheets and towels were stained and they didn't even attempt to wash them. Therefore they charged me a $100 for the paper on the floor and linens stained. I have stayed at numerous hotels and have NEVER had to pay $100 for 'so called' trashing a room. I will never stay there again and certainly advise anyone not to go there. A rating of poor is actually too good for them 😡😡

Amazing stay, the service and friendliness from the owners is excellent. they are always available for anything you may need. In addition the hotel is well located on the side of the main road in Maggie Valley. I stayed in the place solo for 13 days doing my Fall photography in the Smoky Mountains and I felt like being at home
