Went for concert, definitely walking distance from the arena. Beds were comfortable! Room was clean. Only thing I didn’t like was I still had to pay for parking, $42 for valet service. Not a terrible price but if I’m staying at hotel I’d like to not pay to park my car there.

Great location. Good breakfast. If i had realized there were so many parking garages near by i wouldnt have paid for valet parking. However, the valets were very quick. Place looked new. Very good condition. Nice gym. Very nice bathroom.

You should be honest about the parking situation. If I had known I would have to pay $42 per night, I would have stayed elsewhere. No one cleaned our room, or emptied the trash the during the entire stay. While it was interesting that you had a bar available. The options were terrible. The bar needs some non-alcoholic options. Also, the tiny little cup of hummus was ridiculous for the price. I would rather have not had a "bar/restaurant" in the hotel at all than to have had such a bad one. Also, most other hotels, including other Hampton Inn hotels in Phoenix have water available in the room and always available in the lobby. This is enormously important in a desert town where it is extraordinarily easy to become dehydrated.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I especially liked the pillows! They seemed to be feather pillows but definitely not hard rubber! My main complaint was the lack of maid service on the 2nd day, even though I had requested it. Someone left new towels but that was all. Not a big thing but I would have left a tip. Oh well!

When booking the hotel on their site it says parking is available along with valet parking. But parking is not available (metered parking on the street)..42.00 per day for valet parking is ridiculous. Also the restaurant was closed the last two days we were there. Cleaning staff didnt clean the room. They replenished towels and toiletries. They removed the trash but did not wipe anything down or vacuum. We dtayed for 6 days and they only entered our room pne time because we asked them to. Staff were friendly and engaging. I would not recommend or stay at this propery again.

Well, to start the bed was very uncomfortable and the linen felt like paper. Don’t understand how such and expensive rooms most important asset was the worst, on the 10th FLOOR. Even though the view was great the TV needed to be replaced like the screen was going out. Finally, the valet parking was a reap off! It was almost $50 a night not for the entire stay and we had to wait almost 30 minutes before we left the hotel how is that sustainable. We will never stay at this location again.

This hotel is very new looking and very well-maintained. It’s located right downtown and is walkable to many places. The room is gigantic! Everything is up-to-date, brand new and the room is very large, probably one of the largest hotel rooms that I’ve ever stayed in. We are very happy with our stay and we would definitely stay here again!

I would ask for a room away from the alley as the garbage trucks woke us up a few times. Staff are tremendous! Breakfast is free and very good. New a/c units in the rooms were much quieter than last year. Nice bathroom products too. Pillows were various in type and really good. We asked for a late checkout and they accommodated us with storing our luggage, letting us get it out back and forth to repack etc. They even let us take a shower in our room after checking out as our convention activity ran late.

When we tried to check in, the woman helping us couldn't find our Expedia reservation and made us believe we didn't have a reservation at all. She was very rude, short, and non-cooperative. When a manager came over for a different issue, we flagged him down and he found our reservation right away and told us that she cannot search the same reservations because she is not a manager. It seems like she could have called the manager over to help us if she cannot see the same reservations as him. It also seems like an odd business practice.

My experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix Downtown was wonderful. Melissa at the front desk was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. I arrived earlier than expected, and when I called and spoke with her, she was very pleasant and accommodating. The staff both inside and outside the hotel were excellent, including the valet team—even though I arrived via Uber. The hotel is beautiful, and although my stay is brief, I would absolutely choose to stay here again if I return.

ONE RUDE RECEPTIONIST.. Everyone had been very pleasant, helpful and genuinely nice to us for our less than 2 day stay. We had driven in for the Charlie Kirk memorial (on Saturday) and attended the memorial (an all day event on Sunday) Monday am went down for breakfast at 8:55 and there was no food to be seen. It was gone before the 9:00 cut off. I politely asked the receptionist (Monica)) if we had missed it and she she said in a stern voice that it ends at 9 am on weekdays. There was a man that had just missed it also. The man, myself and husband spoke about how strangely rude she had been (she had gone into a back office by then) Then I noticed there were lunch type bags sitting on desk where, MONICA (receptionist) had been standing. She came back out and I asked her what the bags were, as they said “to go”. I’ve stayed in many hotels and they usually offer a bag with granola bar, apple and a water, etc.. She told me they are to go bags. I HAD TO ASK HER, if we could have one. She said yes, so I gave one to the other man and then two for husband and myself. I was happy to see there was a bagel, a fruit and a water. QUESTION; WHY WOULD THE RECEPTIONIST NOT TELL US ABOUT THE “TO GO” BAGS? Why the flippant attitude? Why would she just stand there and say, NOTHING? She can’t find it in her heart to say, sorry you missed breakfast, but here’s a little something to take with you? That attitude should not serve the public. Was it because we attended C.K. memorial??

Visiting Phoenix to watch the Dodgers play at Chase Field and decided to book a hotel that was close enough to the field to walk there. Hampton Inn was an affordable option. Hotel was well maintained and was close enough to the stadium yet far enough away from the traffic and noise. Overall a good experience.

When we first arrived the valet told us that valet parking was our only option. Do we circled and passed a few garages and street parking, and went back to double check and the other valet told us of two other garage options and how to park at them. Not much dining or any real options seemed open nearby and tons of homeless encampments any direction we tried to walk.

I stay here at least twice a year, it's fantastic and central to downtown phoenix nightlife, shows, restaurants, and conventions. Always very clean, great showers and good views. It's an easy walk to museums, the convention center, and the lightrail. Breakfast has gotten a little less fantastic over the last year or so but the Valet service has improved a lot (it can still be a little slow around check out time in the morning but that's to be expected).

First of all, there is no self-parking options on the hotel property, and I didn't see that when I booked the room. It's an extra $44 plus taxes and fees for valet. Walking isn't really great, and they allow some seriously dangerous homeless people to come inside and get coffe, and they sleep on the benches around the hotel. The room was ok, nothing special, and they need to be updated. Paint chipping, etc. It's also a cashless hotel, so you can only tip by using a QR code, and they charge you $1.50 each time. When we went to check out, I called the main desk and asked for a luggage trolley, but they didn't know where they were and said I was 3rd on the waiting list. I had a ton of bags, and I waited for an hour and a half and nothing. So I had to carry it all down myself. Just for the constant hassles with this hotel, I wouldn't recommend it. And just as an aside, don't try to take a Waymo from this hotel to Chase Field. Autonomous cars aren't allowed and it will drop you off by a dirt lot full of needles and homeless people. The walk is long in the heat.
