We loved it! The setting was wonderful…water, mountains, birds. eagles, sky. Close to good restaurants and museums. The pictures don’t do justice to the house. We have already booked a return visit.

Property and home are extremely nice and clean. Amazing views especially from top deck which is great for bird watching if you bring binoculars or better yet a spotting scope like we did. I think I may have seen Champ. Or a floating log. Not sure which although I did see an otter off Elm Point just to the north. Lots of eagles, osprey, cranes and loons. Hosts are very hospitable and are available for anything that might arise. Lots of games in the basement. Dock and mooring were made available with zero issues which is a huge deal if you bring a boat. Free boat launch under the bridge(Vermont side)or across the lake from the house in Port Henry. Lots of floats and paddle boats, kayaks, and dingy if you need the mooring. They even offered some extra bumpers but we already have too many. They're FREE after a bad storm. You'll find them floating in the middle of the lake lol. This lake is ginormous so be cautious and check the weather. Weve been coming up here for 20 years and are still discovering new spots. Caught lots of bass but im not telling you where except we caught a few from the dock just messing around. We brought or dog and the hosts are super accommodating. I dont think Reggie wanted to leave. We adopted him after he was abandoned but in one weeks time in West Addison Vermont, Reggie became a fisherman, a cyclist(he rides in a trailer), and a mountaineer(Sunset Ledge hike Lincoln Vt). Thanks for a great trip Barbs!Bob, Sheri, and Reggie

This was our third time staying at this property and we're already planning our fourth. The house is always sparkling clean and comfortable. We love that the property is lakefront and dog friendly. The kitchen is well-equipped, with ample seating and counter space. Linens and towels are provided, which makes packing a lot easier. There's plenty of room to relax both inside and outside of the home. We fished every day, and ate our meals on the deck, which is such an inviting space. Check-in/out is a breeze and Barb is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay. The house itself is wonderful and the area offers a variety of things to do. Thanks again for a memorable vacation and we hope to make it back your way soon!

The beauty of the environment and the rental property , the hospitality of the hosts makes a repeat experience necessary, which I plan to do!There’s plenty of privacy and space for your dog to run around, bikes, kayaks great places to ride your bikes. It’s just a beautiful place to have a vacation.
