Property is always clean with everything from shops to restaurants right outside. Gym and pool are excellent.

There was a loose elevator panel that almost fell on my son, my husband and another gentleman in the elevator stopped it from falling on him. As soon as we were telling the front desk it needed some attention it slammed down and fell on someone else. It was quickly fixed and the staff offered $10 off breakfast which was very kind. Another thing I didn’t love were the hidden fees, the $55 parking, the $150 deposit at check in.. we grabbed a few gatorades. Overall, beautiful area and very safe and clean but not sure I’d go back.

They did not know the height of the parking garage I called the day before to confirm. I arrived and truck didn’t fit in parking garage but valet was excellent and had my truck parked right next to the hotel.

There is only one ice machine for guests in the hotel. There should be one on each floor. The one machine was difficult to find. And it was not working properly!

Very nice hotel - located right off the Orange Line. Very hipster locale with plenty of convenient shopping (if you forgot to pack something for your trip) and dining if you want an evening closer to your hotel. Only gripe is that the pool is shallow - strictly for families with kids.

We stayed at The Row Hotel for two nights during April break with our two kids (ages 7 and 11) and had a wonderful time. The room was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and modern. We especially appreciated the smart TV—it was perfect for winding down as a family with YouTube and Netflix. The hotel has a high-end, stylish vibe from the moment you walk into the beautiful front lobby. We enjoyed the amenities—our kids loved the pool, and I used the treadmill in the gym, which was clean and well-maintained. The daily amenities charge didn’t bother us since we used it at the shop downstairs for snacks and drinks, and it could be used at the restaurant too. Instead of valet, we used SpotHero for parking and found overnight parking just a short walk away for only $5—which was a huge win. The hotel did mistakenly charge us for one night of valet, but the front desk staff quickly corrected it with no issue, which we really appreciated. The staff overall was great—friendly and attentive from the front desk to housekeeping. We did pass a few snooty guests here and there, but that’s to be expected at a higher-end property. All in all, we had a great family stay and would definitely come back!

Very spacious lobby and bedrooms good size. Dining within the hotel disappointing as not always open and limited choice. More of a business hotel for meetings etc not so good for tourists.

Great location, 2 minutes to breakfast at Tatte then 2 minutes to the tube to go downtown or to Cambridge. New build hotel in shopping centre with restaurants and cinema. Only criticism would be the pool, it it was big bath, I’ve swam in some tiny pools but this was so small I didn’t even bother

Only thing is parking…

Not kid friendly...the room was messy, there were boogers on the wall and the bathroom door...unsafe for kids, loud neighboring rooms, pantry was always empty, even with do not disturb we caught cleaner trying to go in.

Even though The Row Hotel at Assembly Row is not in downtown, it is very quick to get to downtown via the orange line. The subway station is less than 5 minutes walk. And within 15mins, you’re in downtown. Lyft to/from Logan airport is reasonable at off -peak/ rush hours. Housekeeping did excellent job keeping the room and the general area very clean. The room and lobby smell nice. There are lots of restaurants, bakeries & cafe nearby as well as the outlet shops. It feels safe waking around the area late at night. Would be nice to include breakfast with the room rate. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely stay at The Row Hotel again if we visit Boston.

I stayed at The Row Hotel and was really disappointed with my experience. The toilet kept clogging—every time I went to use it, there wasn’t enough water pressure for it to function properly. It clogged three times during my stay. The first time I asked for assistance, I was brushed off by Jara, who said someone would come up “in a bit,” even after I explained that I couldn’t use the bathroom in my room. I emphasized that this was urgent and needed immediate attention. Thankfully, the girl who was training her stepped in, got on the walkie-talkie, and was able to assist me. The bathroom was dirty, with grime stuck to the wall. The body wash dispenser was empty, and the toilet paper was terrible—a single sheet of tissue paper would’ve been thicker and stronger. The pillows were way too fluffy, to the point that they hurt your neck, and I had to sleep without one. I understand that some people might like this style of pillow, but for others, it’s extremely uncomfortable. The area around the hotel has some nice spots, but everything is crowded and involves long waits, which takes away from the experience. The coffee was weak, and the “home fries” were just defrosted wedge fries. Overall, I won’t be back. This place is not worth the price. If you’re going to spend that kind of money, stay in the city where the service and quality actually match the cost.

This is great place, and it is a very new property and it is spotless. The staff are wonderful, knowledgable, and friendly. It is a bargain at these prices also. STAY HERE!

The hotel staff was very nice. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit of a problem… the shower drain didn’t stay open so we had to prop it open with a pen. And the shower curtain had the pink mold at the bottom. The bathroom also didn’t have a fan which is just a pet peeve of mine. The bed was not very comfortable for us. It was hard.

The Row Hotel is 10 out of 10. From the minute you go in, you can smell the cleanliness. The decor is beautiful and modern , the service is excellent, the room very clean and comfortable, and the area was amazing. Lots of stores and restaurants around it as well as the subway station to commute to different tourist destinations. Planning to go back soon!!

I stayed in a single king room that had plenty of sitting space. The bathroom was very clean and of a good size. I will stay there again the next time I’m in the area.

The walls of the hotel rooms are not sound proof at all. The neighbouring room’s television could be heard all night long, and even basic normal voice discussion. The street was also loud. And this wasn’t a suite. It was a regular room. And it was on an upper floor. For a new-ish hotel, it was surprising. Other than that, the staff was perfectly helpful and friendly.

loved our stay. beautiful hotel and bed was comfy. great location and easy parking right next door in lot. our AC wasnt working at some point so got hot in the room but other than that loved it. would absolutely stay here again

Great stay. The only drawback was that you could hear everyone in the hallway while you were in your room.

The hotel appears to be quite new. Everything is very new, clean, and fresh. The decor is, however, a rather dark and dreary brown-grey and with dark metal semi-industrial accents. The sleeping room lights were few and dim, which made a dark decor even darker. Thankfully, the bathroom was well lit. After I booked the hotel emailed me that there would be a $50 per day "destination" charge automatically applied to my bill, from which they'd deduct any food and drink purchased in the hotel. This fee was not disclosed ahead of time, nor could it be waived. The location is a short 2 blocks from the subway and there's plenty of shopping around.

Absolutely love the Row! I've stayed here twice now, and both times have been nothing but a pleasure. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling for work or pleasure. There is a ton of stores nearby, and a bunch of space to hang out. Magnificent view of Encore Casino right in front of the hotel.

This hotel is situated in a really nice area of shopping and dining. The staff were great and friendly. The bar could use a second bar tender as it took quite a while to order a drink or food but the food was excellent. My biggest complaint is about the pillows in the room. They are over stuffed and very uncomfortable. 4 on each bed and they were all the same. It made sleeping very uncomfortable. Also the air conditioner was not reliable. Set at 70 and it wouldn’t even kick on at 74 without messing with the thermostat. Also the fan did not stay in even when set to on. Overall I would still recommend but maybe bring your own pillows.

What a great location! The area was unique, plenty to explore and the hotel was close to everything in the area. Really enjoyed the “speak-easy,” industrial theme throughout. Hotel was very clean, modern and thoughtfully decorated. The rooms are small but well laid out, and the staff was lovely. I do wish they’d had more amenities on each floor and in each room. Ice was a bit of a challenge to find and having to take an elevator to another floor for a shared microwave was uncomfortable with hot food. The beds were comfortable but sloped downward pretty significantly on the sides. We used a towel under the sides of the mattress to prop them up. The shower was wonderful and had 2 shower head options. The setup of the bathroom was a little unconventional and took some getting used to. Overall, if we were back in that area we would no doubt return.

Overall a good stay. Beautiful, new and modern looking. Great location, good staff. However, my only gripe with it is that the walls are thin so you can hear people passing by and doing other stuff. If the sound proofing was better heck they could label it 5 stars, but I would deduct points because peace is a very important part.

I would not hesitate to book this property. The staff is extremely accommodating. The valet, front desk, restaurant & housekeeping surpassed our expectations every day. This is a luxury hotel that makes you feel special from the moment you walk in. I would like to specially thank Rose for making our stay delightful! Front desk staff was dismissive and unwelcoming, I had to inquire about the destination fee instead of an explanation upon check-in. I called down to front desk to obtain cutlery for my food and was told "Yeah, but you gotta come down to get it, we're not bringing it up". I've never experienced such lazy lack of service before in my life, and it was not busy. Front desk staff did not even say hello and acted like any question I had was an annoyance. Incredibly disappointing when I paid 1.6k for 3 night stay. If I was being a Karen or a bother I would understand the front desk staff's attitudes but I literally only called or approached them 3 times in 3 days. Lobby bartender and breakfast staff were great. Suite was nice. I will not return though due to front desk staff.

The hotel is nice but the staff is absolutely rude. Not a smile from most of them and they treat the guest as if they are doing us a favor.

The hotel was amazing and front desk were very welcoming and best customer service I have experienced. I travel a lot and will definitely always chose this hotel. I was very disappointed my last night there with lobby bar staffer. Very rude and she was rushing people and her tone and verbiage was very off from the rest of the experience. Bartender was talking very badly and loud about some of the other customers ordering which I thought was in very bad taste to discuss this with others sitting at the bar area and as I was standing there I overheard her talking badly to a another group trying to place an order.. one of the people in that group caught on to it and decided they did not want to order from her . I realized she must be overwhelmed but was not an excuse but it was the holidays and I wanted to enjoy my night so I only ordered a dessert as I waited for the rest of my family to finish at the pool. We decided to eat dinner at Ruth Chris instead of staying there. My overall experience 9/10

We stayed here for four nights when we came to town to look at colleges for my nephew. The hotel is in a very walkable, friendly area for both dining and shopping. The staff, especially Anny at reception was outstanding. The warm welcome she offered whenever we return to the hotel made us feel like real guests. She’s an incredible ambassador for your brand.

front desk staff unfriendly, no doorman or bellman, we had to go get someone inside for valet parking. They should at least have a sign that instructs arriving guests to go indoors and find the valet on their own. otherwise, it was a good B quality hotel.

The location of this hotel is the best part of it. Otherwise, my experience was very mediocre. First, when I checked in the women at the front desk named Ani was horrible. She told me the system had me in for Friday-Monday when I knew for sure that I booked Thursday- Sunday. I knew I did not make this error when booking because I did everything through Expedia so my flight and hotel reservation were linked. She insisted I was wrong, the system said Fri-Monday, and that there was nothing she could do for me. I even took out my laptop and was able to prove that my reservation was booked for Thurs-Sun. She continued to tell me to call Expedia since I booked through them and that she could not do anything for me since they are a Marriott (???) and I did no book through the hotel directly. Eventually someone else had to get involved and they were able to figure it out. Okay, I understand that glitches in computer systems happens. However, after everything, Ani at the front desk wouldn't look at me, apologize, or anything. The energy she exuded at that point was simply annoyance that I was right and was not going to just go away because she wanted me to. And then I get to the room and I am simply unimpressed. The fitted sheet was put on inside out, wallpaper around the toilet was peeling, there were stains on the blanket, etc. Overall, for what they are charging, the customer service and quality of the rooms needs great improvement.

Despite being Expedia sort of messing up the start of the trip, the staff and night manager went above and beyond and really made for a great stay. Really a stunning property and around everything. Parking and valet can be pricy per night, but if splurging, worth it.

Great location, easy to get into the city

The room was close to shopping and dining. Nice bar in lobby for drinks and quick bites restaurant on 1st floor great for breakfast. A bit pricey but it is Boston so to be expected. Room very roomy. Best bathroom in hotel. Vanity large size. Nice shower. Good lighting For makeup application. Valet parking was super quick. Pricey again but it is Boston. Would stay again when visiting family. T stop super close.

Tons of food and shopping close by. Easy access to subway.

The Row hotel, an Autograph hotel from Marriott, is in the Assembly row shopping area- with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to the Encore casino. The Row hotel is a great home base from which to visit the Boston area- you can also walk to the T subway station and is close to route 93 entrance ramps. The hotel is very modern and clean- with a slightly edgy Somerville vibe. The room was big, comfortable and well appointed. Most of Boston is old and charming- the assembly row area of Boston is new and shiny. Parking is plentiful- garage or valet- but not cheap ($50 plus per night) and there is a daily $25 fee per room that must be spent on the property- the bar, the restaurant or the market place.

For us this was one of the highest end hotels we have stayed at. The location was great. Everything is brand new. Very close to the T Loved it.

This was a very nice hotel in a great area. Tons of food and entertainment options nearby, and close to the Orange Line for access to Downtown Boston. Would easily stay here again.

This property is well kept. We have stayed at this property several times now and it is one of our favorite place to stay. You can't beat the location. It is next to the Orange Line so you can get into the city very easily. The shops and restaurants around Assembly Square is great. You can literally do a staycation at this hotel and have plenty to do.

I got to the hotel around 9:00 PM - right after my conference was done. The checkin was straightforward but I realized that they had tacked on a $25 tourism tax and another $25 "credit" for food in the hotel. When I tried to get some of the snacks from their pantry, I was informed that those are not part of the food credit. This was surprising. Food choices for vegetarians are also limited in the hotel here. Front desk staff seemed more engaged with their phones than providing customer service. Rooms were clean and that was sufficient for me. I left early the next morning - so essentially it was a very expensive 8 hour stay.

We visited Boston for 36 hours and had a great stay at The Row. There were a few small issues but the staff handled them quickly. The property overall is very nice. Our room was very nice, modern, and felt clean. There are tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was very good, and all of the staff was very nice and accommodating throughout our stay. I would stay there again!

Travelers should be warned about the extra costs at this hotel: $58 valet parking and a $25 "Destination Amenity Fee," which we were told would be a credit toward expenditures in the hotel restaurant or market. We didn't want to spend $29/plate for the breakfast buffet, so were told to pick out items from the market. We did, but were charged for those items anyway.

Great vibe - spacious comfortable room. Lovely breakfast options. Complimentary coffee appreciated. $25 destination fee confusing and not necessary in my opinion.

Family was in town, decided to give it a try. Beautiful hotel with great room accommodations. Little disappointed in the buffet as most of the hot foods were either cold or luke warm. Rest of the stay was perfect

Clean. Great location. Comfortable rooms. I didn’t get to try the pool but it appeared nice. Food is typical hotel food so I would rate that average.
