No complaints about this hotel! The staff was great and the room was clean and had everything we needed. There isn’t an elevator which wasn’t a big deal for us but is important for anybody that can’t tolerate stairs. The location is a 10-20 minute walk from all of the best sights in Athens but the area around the hotel leaves much to be desired. Overall great experience though!

Absolutely fabulous stay. Wonderfully large, updated, modern room. Breakfast was delivered to our room the next morning. We would definitely stay here again. Just a note, there is no elevator.

as we four think the same ... everything was perfect in every sense of the word except for the absence of a lift ... if we were younger, we would have not minded going up and down the stairs but it is not the case ... we are all in our 70s. If it was mentioned in the description of the hotel that there is no lift, we would not have chosen your hotel. All being said, we all appreciated your smile and wonderful service in making our stay in your hotel very pleasant!

Acropolis Stay was everything that was advertised and more. I am not sure that I have ever stayed anyplace with such an accommodating proprietor. George was absolutely amazing. Communication from the property prior was great. Location was great. Walkable to Acropolis. Plenty of restaurants and shopping available too. It was just a quick stay, but so comfortable I would highly recommend. You do have to be able to navigate stairs, but not with luggage. I would give 10 Star if available.

Great and spacious room for the 3 of us! The shower was amazing, great shower pressure. Check in was easy and the staff was very helpful and kind. Only “bad” part is the stairs to the rooms, I was fine with that but if you have issues with stairs it could be difficult. But the hotel was the perfect stay for us, and in a great convenient location.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The location was outstanding, 2 blocks from the Acropolis, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. The whole area was very safe to walk, there’s a small laundry mat across the street. We had a private courtyard on the 3rd floor, which was very nice, but there is no elevator, except for a small one for luggage only.

This was a small boutique hotel with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. Since we were traveling from out of country I had several questions I submitted through Expedia and they were answered promptly. The room was modern and clean. We rented the top floor suite with the outdoor patio. The patio was nice in the morning and evening but too hot in the afternoon, but worth the extra money. The hotel is within walking distance of the Acropolis and the Metro. It has an elevator for luggage only, although if you are here to visit the Acropolis you should be able to handle the stairs in this hotel. We also arrived early (8:30 a.m.) and they were willing to store our luggage for us and had it delivered to our room before we returned that afternoon.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It was secured with auto lock doors that no one bit guests could enter. The hotel is in the central location to all attractions. Lots of dining options nearby, but so quiet at night. We truly enjoyed our stay there

The owner/manager, George, is fabulous. The level of hospitality he and his staff provide is exceptional. For example, if you let them know your planned arrival time, they do everything possible to get you in before actual check-in time if they can. The rooms are extremely clean, well equipped, with microwave and mini fridge. Ours even had a fully equipped kitchenette. Our room was very spacious, quiet, and well maintained. It seemed have been recently renovated, as everything from the fixtures to the furnishings appeared to be practically new. The location is superb, just a short walk to many wonderful restaurants and shops, and historical places like the Acropolis. Also a short walk to the subway, if you want to connect to more distant places. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations, including the delicious catered in room service breakfast. There is no passenger elevator for this three floor hotel, but they do have an elevator for your suitcases that works very well. I highly recommend the Acropolis Stay hotel, and would like to stay there again in the future.

Clean room, staff friendly and helpful : kitchen had plenty of tea/ coffee snd condiments . Was able to check in like 3 hours early . We were exhausted from the flight . Early checkin was a game changer.

I booked this room because when I travel I always like to have access to preparing my own food. My room was stocked with everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable. It was exceptionally clean! And I appreciated my room being tidied up each day when I was out sightseeing. George at the front desk closed exceptionally sweet, very helpful, and I would definitely stay here again!

This property was very clean and well kept. The bathrooms were updated and lots of room in the shower which is not the case in all European hotels. Food options right out your front door. All major sites are truly within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

The staff are lovely, and we were very comfortable in our room. My daughter wanted to know the mattress brand! The kitchenette has everything you'd need, and the air conditioning was effective and easy to control. Like so many centrally-located hotels in Athens, this one is near traffic, but we slept very well both nights. Because it's located on a side street, Uber could stop easily. No complaints. We'd stay again.

Acropolis Stay is in a fantastic location, easy to navigate from through the center of the city. Only a four minute walk to the Museum, close to laundry and good food. Hotel is in excellent condition, rooms are very comfortable and the showers are outstanding!!

We liked everything about our room and location. My daughter actually wanted to know the brand of the comfortable mattress. We didn't have trouble sleeping--the hotel is on a small side street, which makes Uber stops easy as well. We'd book again. Smooth and friendly check-in

Good location in relation to the Acropolis. Walkable distance to the metro station. Nice selection of restaurants nearby and shopping. The room size was ok for 2 people, and had queen size bed. It was contemporary and well maintained. Nice bathroom area and shower. Nice mini-fridge and microwave, with coffee in the room. The entry to the rooms required hauling your luggage up 10 steps or so, until you got to the luggage lift. The only negative I have about the room was the road noise at night. We didn't notice it during the day.

Great property. Clean. Efficient. The staff were very appropriate and friendly. My only issue was that the air conditioner couldn’t keep up with the excessive heat that was outside. The staff improved it slightly when we brought it to their attention but Athens in the summer is no joke.

A very clean, comfortable, and newish room in a good location. Bed was very comfy. A/C worked well. Very limited TV (I could only get one English news channel) A few mins walk to Acropolis Metro and various restaurants. My room faced the road so traffic was noisy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Internet was OK speed sometimes a little bit slower. I didn't have time and changes to have breakfast from hotel because of my day trips schedule. Room size was pretty good and very nice also cleaning services are great. Staffs were very kind and helpful.

Well renovated and perfectly maintained small hotel that worked perfectly for our family of 4 , spacious space and very clean , the gentleman went above and beyond helping even with booking a transfer to the airport, we checked in early and were offered to keep luggage and change to go about our day till the room was ready , he even helped with luggage, we tried to book on our way back from Santorini but was fully booked . Thank you for a great stay and will make sure to recommend you for friends and family.

Acropolis Stay was everything that was advertised and more. I am not sure that I have ever stayed anyplace with such an accommodating proprietor. George was absolutely amazing. Communication from the property prior was great. Location was great. Walkable to Acropolis. Plenty of restaurants and shopping available too. It was just a quick stay, but so comfortable I would highly recommend. You do have to be able to navigate stairs, but not with luggage. I would give 10 Star if available.

This was a small boutique hotel with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. Since we were traveling from out of country I had several questions I submitted through Expedia and they were answered promptly. The room was modern and clean. We rented the top floor suite with the outdoor patio. The patio was nice in the morning and evening but too hot in the afternoon, but worth the extra money. The hotel is within walking distance of the Acropolis and the Metro. It has an elevator for luggage only, although if you are here to visit the Acropolis you should be able to handle the stairs in this hotel. We also arrived early (8:30 a.m.) and they were willing to store our luggage for us and had it delivered to our room before we returned that afternoon.

The staff were amazing leading up to check-in. We had to check in after hours and procedure was seamless and without issues. Room was clean and serviced daily. Reception was always offering free snacks, beverages, and even the occasional alcoholic beverage (we did a shot before leaving the hotel). Overall, a fantastic stay and would highly recommend anyone staying in Athens to stay at this hotel.

FABULOUS accommodations! It was the perfect room for our time in Athens. Great little kitchenette, nice bathroom, comfy bed. The owner and staff were amazing!!! We arrived wayyyy too early to check in from our cruise and my hubby was sick with food poisoning. They let us is the lobby bathroom and just hang out until our room became available. The owner even helped housekeeping turn the room to get us in early, offered to contact doctors if needed, and checked on my husband the next day. No complaints about this hotel! The staff was great and the room was clean and had everything we needed. There isn’t an elevator which wasn’t a big deal for us but is important for anybody that can’t tolerate stairs. The location is a 10-20 minute walk from all of the best sights in Athens but the area around the hotel leaves much to be desired. Overall great experience though!

We loved the location of Acropolis Stay!!!! We really didn’t know how great it was until we were there. It is so close to great dining and shopping and just a short walk to the Acropolis. Just around the corner is a wonderful pedestrian friendly street of restaurants, cafes, markets, etc. Then a bit further is the wonderful shops and more restaurants of Plakka. The hotel itself was clean and great for a family of four. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens. We had some trouble with our booking through Expedia and the staff at Acropolis Stay were so helpful and made sure that everything worked out for our travels!

Excellent location! Hotel has great location 5-10mins walk to Acropolis, Greek/Roman Agora, 15-20mins to temple of Zeus, Olympic Stadium and 1-3mins to tons of restaurants and shops. Room was very clean and spacious enough with plenty of closet space. There’s a 24hr laundromat a block away (1-3min walk) we used this to clean all our clothes, the convenience made our stay even more comfortable! Staff are super friendly, it felt very safe plus they offered luggage storage after checkout so we could enjoy a bit more of Athens on our last day! We’d stay there again.

Very limited TV (I could only get one English news channel) A few mins walk to Acropolis Metro and various restaurants. My room faced the road so traffic was noisy. Fantastic property right next to the Plaka neighborhood. Room has everything you’ll need and is walking distance from the Acropolis; longer walk to other popular areas but we did walk to other neighborhoods each day in 25-30 mins. Would definitely stay here again!

This location was excellent for accessing the acropolis, plaka and athens metro for easy transportation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms very well kept. My only recommendation would be to skip breakfast, better breakfast can be found out there!

The property itself is close to the Athens museum and the Acropolis, restaurants, cafes and generally most eateries. Also, close to the main road where you could hop on a sightseeing bus. A brisk 5-10 min walk to Plaka and Monastiraki. Our room was spacious, with a kitchen and a walk in robe with plenty of space to hang your clothes. Finally, the bathroom was decent too. There is also the option to have your breakfast delivered to your door. The downside was that by the time it got to you, it wasn't very warm. The room we had didn't have much of a view but I'm not sure about the other rooms. The one negative was trying to get our luggage up a flight of stairs. There was an elevator for luggage, but we were on the first floor and and didn't need to use it. Overall, a good experience.

The breakfast is excellent (truly). We ordered English and Local Delight, and indicated we would like it delivered at 7:30 am. Exactly at 7:30 am, we opened the front door, and a handsome young man is right at the door. The most noteworthy item is orange juice. It was freshly squeezed without added sugar or sweeteners and tastes very delicious. The two reception ladies are also very friendly and nice. The only trade off is the surrounding of the hotel. The streets are narrow and a little crowded. Overall, we love the place.

The owner/manager, George, is fabulous. The level of hospitality he and his staff provide is exceptional. For example, if you let them know your planned arrival time, they do everything possible to get you in before actual check-in time if they can. The rooms are extremely clean, well equipped, with microwave and mini fridge. Ours even had a fully equipped kitchenette. Our room was very spacious, quiet, and well maintained. It seemed have been recently renovated, as everything from the fixtures to the furnishings appeared to be practically new. The location is superb, just a short walk to many wonderful restaurants and shops, and historical places like the Acropolis. Also a short walk to the subway, if you want to connect to more distant places. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations, including the delicious catered in room service breakfast. There is no passenger elevator for this three floor hotel, but they do have an elevator for your suitcases that works very well. I highly recommend the Acropolis Stay hotel, and would like to stay there again in the future.

We were greeted by very friendly staff, check in was easy and the room was very clean. We had the top floor room with the huge patio, which was very nice to have a drink on the evening. The unit is walking distance to the Acropolis and the museum, amongst other popular walking streets in Athens. We were very grateful to the hotel staff as my husband lost something after we had left Athens and the hotel staff graciously searched our unit and the hotel to make sure we hadn't left it behind.
