Maria Ines Hotel Suite

What guests think

Travellers describe Maria Ines Hotel Suite as a clean, modern, and convenient stopover near Oaxaca’s airport, with easy taxi access, rooms ranging from spacious to small, and generally quiet stays despite a busy road outside that can bring occasional noise.

Guests repeatedly praise the friendly, helpful front-desk team and smooth check-ins, though several found hotel-arranged airport taxis pricey. Rooms are often comfortable with effective air conditioning, but feedback notes occasional compact layouts, firm mattresses, intermittent Wi-Fi, and sporadic noise from street traffic, nearby dogs, or moving furniture. With handy dining next door and reliable essentials, it’s best for short stays before or after flights.

It is a lovely place, room are pretty small but cozy, super close to the airport and transportation to it was not an issue, love their restaurant as well really good food… Love the garden area… Although is in front of a major street I believe that is pretty convenient, if you are a light sleeper you might need to reconsider your choice or request for best options due to noise, but if that does not bother you, I will totally recommend it…

Maria Ines turned out to be the perfect way to wrap up our 2 weeks in Oaxaca! The property is attractive, rooms are large and well furnished, the on-property eating options were excellent, and the spa on site was a bonus. Being close to the airport, but not effected by planes taking off or landing, was very important.

Good clean big room - no tissues, have to use toilet paper. Noisy but subsided after 10 pm( loud music , furniture being moved. VERY close to airport, but don’t think of walking to the airport. When it’s dark out, no street lights. There is no sidewalk but a wall of cactus lining both sides of the road. So, no good safe way to really get there on foot. Taxi service cost 200 pesos, which hotel booked for us.

This is kind of a quirky modern hotel with an odd setup of rooms that have glass wall/doors directly onto balconies above a parking court yard. Furnishings are super modern and slick. Shower/bath was great. TV offerings so-so but hackable so I could play stuff off my computer with the HDMI. My only knock on the room is it was small and the AC was aimed to blow on one side of the bed - mine - making me really cold when my partner was just right. This was not ideal. Otherwise, I recommend this place.

This hotel was wonderful. The room, the staff, it felt safe. I loved everything about it except the dog academy next door. I don’t know if I would stay there again because of the poor animals next door.

You have to walk plenty of blocks in order to hit an intersection where you can cross the street safely and that was very inconvenient. Where right across the street there was a supermarket and I couldn’t get to it because it was unsafe to cross with oncoming traffic so that for me was a turn off.
