Travellers describe V1935 Luxurious Apartments as a centrally located apartment-style stay with friendly, attentive staff, generally clean and comfortable suites featuring kitchenettes and washers, and a well liked breakfast and rooftop restaurant that make city exploring easy.
Several reviews note noise from the street or rooftop bar and occasional hallway echoes, which can affect light sleepers. A few maintenance or cleanliness issues and one report of weak air conditioning were mentioned. Overall, expect a practical stay with apartment conveniences suited to independent travelers.

The property is somewhat older but is well-maintained. The staff is very helpful--they helped with the luggage, showed us the features in the room, provided some free water bottles, included a welcome fruit bowl, and even delivered us some cereal and milk the night before we left for an early flight. The location is excellent for walking and is close to many restaurants, the subways and the tram. The breakfast has lots of options, including a few warm items. The room (a suite) was spacious, with bedroom, living room, eat-in kitchen, bathroom, and small balcony. Having a washing machine was a real plus. The rooftop restaurant was popular for pasta and pizza dishes.

This apt style hotel is located in a great location. Walking distance to all the great sights. Walk to and climb the Acropolis, the plaka and more. The hotel has friendly, helpful staff. We had the space and comfort of home away from home. Great breakfast to start the day and a restaurant onsight if you're too tired to venture to the many great restaurants steps from the hotel.

This is a perfect little spot to stay in downtown Athens for a couple of nights. Cool and comfortable, the facilities are basic (not exactly luxurious’) but with everything you need and lovely helpful staff. I definitely recommend it and would return here!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great Location is the best near everything and just 5 mins walk to syntagma square. This hotel was amazing! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had an early flight and missed the complimentary breakfast, so they brought us a huge tray of breakfast foods the night before to make sure we ate. We loved the balcony on our room to relax and have a cocktail. Beds were comfortable, and hotel was clean. The hotel was so close to everything! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. This was our first time in Greece and we loved it.

Room was spacious and ac worked perfectly for the hot Greek summer. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and able to accommodate our late check in due to flight delays. My only complaint would be that my room was a bit noisey due to being just under the rooftop garden bar, and sharing a stairway with the bar entrance, so while the bar was open we heard stomping on the floors, chairs dragging, talking and music until around 1 to 2 AM. We also heard a lot of load banging and doors shutting in the hallways stairs as the workers were closing up the bar.

My sister and I had a WONDERFUL stay at V1935! Located in the heart of Athens, a mere block from Syntagma Square, in an area filled with restaurants and cafes, with easy access to the Plaka (a few blocks away), public transport and Uber/taxis to whisk you around the city. A great walking neighborhood. Our 2 room suite was very comfortable and well-equipped! Bedding was SO comfortable and shower pressure was great! Our balcony for 2 overlooked the street and we enjoyed hanging out and relaxing there. Service is exceptional--the reception staff are friendly and very accommodating (we asked for help buying postcard stamps and they obliged!). Breakfast (included) was scrumptious. Yogurt and honey, homemade sour cherry jam (TRY IT and buy some to take home!), freshly baked rolls and assorted coldcuts and piping hot coffee made our mornings easy, and the setting was lovely. 5 stars and our thanks to V1935 for our perfect stay.

Location is central to many sites. Our stay was stressful, I will give it 1 star for this reason- On Day 1 I got locked in the bathroom as you have to use a key to lock the bathroom door. It would not open no matter which way I turned it. Bathroom was steamy and I was in there for 1/2 hour. And being a senior this was a stressful experience for me.Then my husband got hold of the receptionist, they did not have a spare key, so she went to the neighboring apt and from their bathroom window asked me to throw the key. Luckily bathroom had a window. It could have fallen down to the street below but my aim was good, thank god for that. She got the key, came to our apt and opened the bathroom from the outside. She said I had to jiggle it several times. Later when we went to ask for a change of apt( as we were a party of 4) she said it was all booked. But they could give us another Apt when we came back from our tour in 4 days. I told her being a senior this was scary and what if some senior 80+ had travelled alone and got stuck in the bathroom. She (evening staff) argued for over 1/2 hour in a rude way and refused to say sorry, saying I did not know how to open it. She finally said we will change the lock . Thats all she should have said in the beginning instead of arguing. Plus she spoke to her boss and said if we had to cancel we have to pay 50% cancellation charges. Instead of upgrading us or cancelling without charges etc... they were slack in dealing with the situation.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great Location is the best near everything and just 5 mins walk to syntagma square. We stayed at the penthouse and the pictures don’t do justice to the actual rooms. They provided bathrobes and slippers too. Fridge has free water bottle and some fruits. It was a beautiful and spacious. Elevator is a plus. Rooftop restaurant has the best pasta and pizza. Staff there too are super friendly. Highly recommended hotel.

Dining
Breakfast is widely praised for variety and quality, and the hotel often prepares early take away trays for early flights or special diets. The rooftop restaurant and bar are popular, though a few guests found some breakfast items average or pastries not fresh.

Great location. Comfortable room with good kitchenette. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had informed them that I have celiac disease and they had bought me Gluten free breakfast items. I felt well taken care of.

The hotel breakfast was excellent with lots of options and was available for several hours each day. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our apartment was modern and comfortable. The hotel is located in a great area within walking distance to many Athens attractions, shops, & dining. Safe and quiet neighborhood.

The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, with loads of restaurants and close to the metro and bus stops. Breakfast was a full buffet of hot and cold items. The only critique I have is that the bedding could be more comfortable- the mattress is foam and the sheets/blanket were thin. Other than that, we had absolutely no complaints. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, storing our luggage before our room was ready and after we checked out. The rooftop restaurant also has great pizza and pasta if you don’t feel like going out one night.

We had penthouse but this is really just an apartment. Bathroom has black mold on the ceiling, but overall apartment was nice. I did not like having restaurant above us as you can see it from the balcony. Breakfast was ok but pastries were not fresh. Location was excellent

Total gem. The apartment was perfectly suited for us and our two little kids. Very cute and very well kept. The location is fantastic. Walk distance from the main sites, and a less than 1 minute walk from a great (GREAT) restaurant named Ovio, and other good walk distance places. The front desk were incredibly warm and very helpful (Thank you Zoi!) Tip- if you are here for a short period, do not waste an evening with the roof garden restaurant upstairs (mediocre food with horrible service). You'll find Michelin quality alternatives right outside (we had great dinners at Ovio and Symposio). Wishing you a great trip!
