Bathroom clean and large. Breakfast area very nice…breakfast itself not the best but served the purpose. Parking area and neighborhood felt safe. Staff all helpful! Bus to NYC (#127) very close. Overall, very happy with our stay at Fairfield Inn by Marriott, in N. Bergen, NJ!

The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fresh. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is the parking lot is quite small and it isn’t obvious where you can park if the lot is full.

There were some key things that I loved about this hotel. 1) Breakfast is complimentary 2) Parking is complimentary 3) Fitness room is 24 hrs 4) Getting to New York City was a breeze. Bus stop was a block away.

The couch had bad stains on it. The shower door never closed all the way. The TV facing the sofa haf audio problems. Front desk gave some sheets so we could sit on the sofa. Told us to report it to manager the next day. Reported it to manager the next day and showed her pictures, she said housekeeping should be able to clean that. They never addressed the other issues which I informed them of. I don't expect this out of Marriott. No room change or anything. They dropped the ball.

Property is maintained well and rooms are very spacious. They proactively made our room ready before we checked in and placed the crib in our room for smooth check-in. Instructed on how to assemble as well. Parking is free and spacious which is plus point. Staff and housekeeping are good. Breakfast options are limited but good for adults and kids. Only thing is the room smells of damp carpet on first day. Apart from that it’s all as expected. Location: Getting to NYC does take sometime(~1hour due to traffic) as there only one bus #127 which takes you to port authority terminal and frequency is also less and same case is while coming back from NYC. Nearby area is safe so late night trips are not a bother. Hotel is uphill from bus stop, so takes an effort to reach after tiring day in NYC.

It could have been an amazing stay if there was actual running water in the washrooms. The water pressure was extremely low, to fill c cup of water it will take over a minute. Similarly the water pressure in shower was not existing, it was 3-4 really narrow stream of water that hardly is enough to wash hands let alone shower. This is my 2nd stay at the hotel and it seems the property suffers from water issues.

The service staff were good, the room was clean, the only issue was that our room did not have water pressure. We did report it to get it fixed and the staff said they would. We tried again in the morning and we still had the same issue.

Because we checked in after midnight due to our flight arrival time they gave us the last king room, which was a wheelchair accessible room with a California king bed instead, even though I prepaid weeks before. On top of this, the sink drain was clogged and barely flowed and the handheld shower head had such low water pressure.

Property is new and well maintained. Location is excellent with NJ Transit bus taking you straight to Times Square in NYC for $3.50. Rooms are new and very comfortable. Good selection for breakfast with scrambled eggs and Ham egg n cheese sandwiches. I wish they had only egg n cheese sandwiches for vegetarians. Internet is choppy and disconnected frequently. TV also kept freezing. Property is on a hill, so be prepared for the steep climb up in case you’re taking the bus.

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations and left us very dissatisfied. From the moment we arrived, the service was lacking. There was only one person working at the front desk who seemed overwhelmed, and the rest of the staff were neither helpful nor friendly. I was particularly shocked by the behavior of the front desk staff member with long hair, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. Additionally, our room was not clean, and basic amenities were missing. I had to wait for hours just to receive towels after requesting them multiple times. This is simply unacceptable.To make matters worse, there was a mistake with our reservation, and we were forced to cut our vacation short and leave in the middle of our trip. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I like the cleaniness of the property. However today we asked for cleaning the room and went out. When we come back at night, the room was not at all attended. Even the garbages were not removed. So may be service and response of staff need to improve.

Had a wonderful 2-night stay at this Fairfield by Marriott. The location was perfect – convenient to everything yet quiet for good rest. Great place to base yourself for New York. Bus stop out the front for a 30m ride into NYC for only $4 each. Uber is about $60. Then to subway station for any location in Manhattan.

Hotel was clean comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast options. Walk to Target in about 5 minutes and there are food choices nearby. Description says Times Square is 11 minutes away but that is not the case. 20-30 by uber and about 50 mins by bus (which is super easy to get to and use the app to get bus tickets.. and drops off at Times Square Port Authority Terminal). $4 by bus per person and about $45 for an uber

Very clean and spacious room. Complimentary breakfast had an impressive selection. Wasn't in the room very long but overall no complaints. Very close to Metlife stadium and NYC. Only comment is that the roads are extremely steep in the surrounding area.

Overall my stay was really good. It is easy to go from the hotel to NY Port Authority Bus station ($4/person - hourly). Good breakfast, rooms are well maintained, however the sink of our room had a terrible smell. We needed to keep it mostly closed... The front desk staff could offer more general information/instructions on how to take the bus to NY and/or other relevant attractions such as the The Liberty Statue Ferry... it was a Sunday and the lady told us she never went there and couldn't help. I totally get it, but it would be nice to have more interest in helping new tourists. Other than that I recommend this hotel.

OK hotel located rather close to Manhattan but it takes a very long time to get there and back, especially on peak times. We had to take a long detour and it took three hours to get to the hotel from Central Park. Rush hours the traffic to New Jersey is crazy. While none of this is the fault of the hotel, I would never stay in New Jersey again since I value our time on vacation. The hotel breakfast was… sad. Paper plates. Soggy eggs and wafer thin bacon with no taste. No water available. I’ve never seen a more pathetic excuse of a breakfast.

We had a good stay in general. Whe we had issues with our room, it was resolved prompty. I would rate breakfast low. It wasn't interesting and it was monotonous through our 3 noght stay I've stay at othet Fairfield Inn and thoer breakfast was really good.
