We liked the beds as they were very comfortable for us. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was plentiful and good, but get there early before it's gone. Charging outlets in the room we're plentiful. The only shortcoming was the limited number of parking spaces.

The entryway into our room and in the bathroom had something slick on the tile. It was so slippery I fell in the bathroom within 5 minutes of being in our room. I was on my knees cleaning the floor for at least 45 minutes just so we could walk without falling.

The front desk staff was professional. The room was clean however the bathroom wasn't cleaned well especially the bath tub. We were told breakfast was until 9am compared to other Holiday Inn who have it untill 9:30am. We went around 8:30, except for a couple of bagels, there was nothing left for my family. We are vegetarians so we couldn't eat eggs or meat. Since its peak travel season the management should have planned for more quality.

The front desk staff were attentive and professional. The room was clean and had a lot of space to lay out a suitcase. Breakfast was good with very friendly staff. We had stayed at Hampton Inn the night before and the property and staff at the Holiday Inn Express far exceeded the Hampton Inn. I wish it was closer to the heart of Pittsburgh so I could stay every time I visit.

We i mean i and my husban, had the day of our stay mix up, when we call 1-800-hotels.com number to switch the day, they wouldnt without charging us a $100 fee, we would agree to this, but call the hotel in pittsburgh pa directly and the hotel manager did, for free, so the hotel was a great help, but hotels.com was not they only wanted money tto asst. So my great reviews isnt for hotels.com, its for the hotel and its staff for making our stay a wonderful one !!!

I decided to take a few days off from a busy schedule to relax for my birthday. Front office staff were rude. My paid reservation through Expedia was for a king size bed. I paid $40-$50 more to get a room with k bed. I checked in ok but upon arriving to the room it had 2 queen size beds. I went back to the front desk and rudely the staff tried to tell me that my reservation (which I paid extra for) doesn’t guarantee king size bed.

Loved it there. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Cinnamon rolls for the win. The bathroom had Dove hand lotion and hand soap. And the shower had Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Definitely one of the better rooms I’ve stayed in. If you want to have leftovers in your room, bring your own paper plates because they only have foam plates. But that doesn’t take away from the experience at all.
