At Home2 Suites by Hilton Rock Hill, guests frequently highlight friendly staff, spacious suite-style rooms with kitchenettes, and a convenient location near the interstate and dining, plus useful amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness room, and EV charging.
Cleanliness is often praised, though several reviews mention inconsistent housekeeping, smoke or pet odors in common areas, and isolated pest or door-lock maintenance issues. Breakfast feedback is mixed, ranging from excellent variety and value to limited choices, items running out, or poor quality. Overall, expect a comfortable, well-located stay with practical amenities, but be prepared for occasional service or maintenance hiccups.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and very spacious! Great location! Convenient to everything we needed. Parking at night time was very limited and the pool sticks are in dire need of replacing. I don’t remember seeing the bar open either…but other than that, we would definitely stay again!

This hotel was a very nice place to stay. Very clean, friendly staff, safe area, near the interstate and convenient to stores and restaurants. My grandson enjoyed the pool and even though he's only 10, he and my son could do a little workout in the gym. The gym is very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfy and the kitchen area was nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

All aspects of the hotel that I venture into were clean and well kept. The pool area was a good warm temperature, despite the chilly weather outside. The rooms were nice and clean as well.

Clean, large studio! Comfy beds & pillows. Impressed with dishes, silverware, dishwasher, sink, and full-sized fridge/freezer. The sitting area was separated from the queen beds by a drape. No wasteful tiny shampoos; there were dispensers. They also had recycling bins in the lobby & in our room. Many lamps, large tv. Excellent breakfast buffet. Apples, coffee, & variety of teas were available 24/7 at the front desk. 2 elevators made waiting minimal. We used the EV car charger overnight. The indoor pool looked nice, but we had no time to swim. Friendly, helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again. Only downside was we could hear people chatting in the hall outside our door when we went to bed.

Second time I have stayed here when I come to visit my family; and I will return the next time. Best value overall. Clean overall, though a few spots or stains on the sofa. I’m sure the bed was comfortable, but as I had the sofa-bed as my handicapped brother gets the bed, the sofa bed mattress is thin and not so great. I do appreciate the separation curtain as this can be closed for some privacy, yet opened to allow for a more spacious feeling during the day. Breakfast was good overall, though they never seemed to have enough of the sausage and egg breakfast biscuits (which my brother wanted). There were plenty of other sandwich options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The car charging for free is a great benefit. They have four chargers- ask if you see a ICE car parked blocking spots as I was informed the staff do that as they have had locals pull up and charge blocking access for guest.

Very clean, friendly staff, comfy beds and nice kitchen area. My grandson enjoyed the pool. The gym is clean and the equipment was well maintained. The fire pit wasn't working but it was nice to sit outside. The drink machine for juice in the morning wasn't working. These are minor things. I'd definitely stay here again. It was a very good hotel.

I really hate to leave a negative review because the staff was very professional and tried their best to help. However, our stay was extremely uncomfortable. Around 2 a.m., a cockroach crawled across our bed, which was terrifying and made it impossible to relax. We left to get a snack from the nearby QuikTrip to calm our nerves, but when we returned, we couldn’t access our room. Despite the staff's efforts, they had to call a technician in on his day off, and the issue wasn't resolved until around 10 a.m. Unfortunately, the combination of the pest issue and the long night of being locked out made for a very unpleasant experience. I appreciate the staff's professionalism, but this stay fell far below expectations.

Place is a mess and needs to be remodeled. Room was dirty. Toilet was not cleaned on underside, used coffee container was still in coffee maker, and trash still in the trashcan from the prior occupant. I was there six days staff came to clean the room on night five. Still did not clean underneath the toilet seat or leave more coffee and clean out the old coffee machine. Finally, I received a call from the desk wanting me to review my stay. After two calls and a message I got a call on the landline in the room. If you want to review so bad of a place, that’s no good here you go.

Everything was great! The room was very clean, no problems at all. Breakfast was worth waking up for. The food was what you expected for breakfast. A delicious variety to choose from. The staff was very engaging, very cheerful. After breakfast was over, they immediately proceeded cleaning the area. They worked together like a well-oiled machine. Easily one of the top hotels we've stayed with. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Toilet had mold-like substance coated in toilet bowel. Shower wasn’t clean in corners. Carpet had stains and computer chair was stained. The hotel staff was nice. I was tired to complain about the imperfections due to being tired from travel. Hotel is in a good location. Only took one photo which I posted. Overall if it was cleaner I would have recommended due to location.

Easy, right off highway. Quiet area. Lots of restaurants and stores close by. Dog friendly. Room was clean. Wi-Fi didn’t work but I also didn’t call to ask about it. It was just for one night so I was okay without Wi-Fi. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small. We had a hole in the ceiling and scratch marks on door but it was truly a perfect room. My family and I were very comfortable. My husband said the breakfast looked good. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights. We had an issue with the thermostat and could not get the air conditioner on. When we made the front seat aware the manager quickly came with fans until they were able to get maintenance to switch the unit on. The facility was well kept during our stay and we had a pleasant visit to Rock Hill.

Front desk was very unwelcoming, I arrived 45 mins after- normal check-in time- per website. Room was not ready, tap pay don't work. ( which put me personal in a bind, but nontheless, was offered, but no available, they had no idea it wasn't. So yeah was BS. Was rushed out of the pool, before 11:00 pm. Was reminder 3 different times, about what time it closed.

Our family was locked out of the hotel room for 3 hours because the maintenance person would not show up to replace the battery to open the door. Our car keys were inside the room, so we had to get an Uber for transportation. The manager offered zero compensation for the time or money wasted.

This staff is probably the friendliest and hardest working I have ever seen in a hotel in my life! You can tell they must have an incredible manager!

One elevator during a tournament isn’t good. I felt like management skimped on breakfast. No consistency with choices from day to day. No eggs two days in a row and no non-pork selections.

The breakfast food and concept is terrible. Food was average, at BEST. We stayed 3 nights...the third morning we went OUT for breakfast because the breakfast at the hotel is so weak.

It was an okay stay for what we needed (a stop on the way to Savannah). In hindsight I would have preferred to drive straight through. The fire alarm went off twice during the night. I am sure it was not the of the hotel but they didn’t tell us anything about why. It ruined our sleep and then breakfast the next day was a joke. Terrible selection, the only thing to eat at 8:30 was waffles. There was one waffle maker and a 45 minute line. Overall not a great experience!
