We arrived and check in was good and easy. We were very disappointed to find out that they do not have any roof top dinning at night. The pictures portrayed on Expedia a dinner in the evening with wine on the table and amazing views of the Acropolis. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!!! Only breakfast is on the rooftop. The room was clean and we had an awesome view of the Acropolis! Expedia also says the hotel has laundry facilities. This is not correct either. They will send it out for you at a cost of 8 Euro per KG. WOW expensive. Checkout was easy and no hidden fees.

Breakfast was the same everyday, it would be good to have variety as stayed for consecutive days. The main reason we booked the place was the view of Acropolis but the deck was closed all throughout our stay and we're not even allowed 5mins to take photos when requested even after requesting several times coz there's no rain so quite disappointed

We enjoyed our stay at Jason Inn Hotel Athens. Chris, the front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. The 4th floor terrace provided a wonderful place to have breakfast and take in amazing views of the Acropolis. Our only disappointment was the lack of access to the terrace at sunset or to enjoy the evening air.

Estivemos em uma viagem de 20 dias e esse foi o pior hotel da viagem. A começar pela chegada, o atendimento foi grosseiro por parte do senhor que recepciona durante o dia, e se seguiu pelos 3 dias. Como chegamos antes do horário do check in, pedimos para usar o locker para guardar nossas malas, este é um quarto com prataleiras que usam um carpete que estava todo úmido e com muito mofo (mas muito mesmo), era impossível ficar dentro deste guarda volumes. O quarto é ok, confortável e tem uma vista legal da cidade e parcial da Acrópole, mas não tinha nenhum isolamento, na hora de dormir ouvíamos todo o barulho da região que não é nada calma a noite. A limpeza diária foi terrível, voltávamos para o quarto percebíamos diversos locais que não haviam sido limpos, principalmente no banheiro. Nós tínhamos o café da manhã pago, mas não conseguimos em nenhum dia comer no hotel pq sempre que estavam preparando as refeições sentíamos um cheiro muito ruim (similar ao do lixo) saindo da cozinha e que chegava nos corredores. O transfer deles foi o mais caro da viagem, pagavamos em media 25/30 euros, nos cobraram 62. E pra finalizar, a localização não é tão boa, a rua é muito suja e fica cerca de 1,2km da Acrópole.

Booked this hotel for the roof terrace with view of the Acropolis. BUT it was closed for winter! Despite their own website saying it was open in October. The excuse of it being winter is very poor as aircon in room was on and just a single sheet on bed, so not a winter vibe. Otherwise thw hotel was average in an average location with an average breakfast. Basically sucker people in with the lure of a rooftop bar and breakfast that they never supply. Overall dissapointed

Me encanta la ubicación está cerca de todo, la habitación muy bonita y limpia con hermosa vista, algo q cambiaría es que tiene una bodega para guardar maletas lo cual es excelente pero es muy encerrada por tal motivo huele demasiado a humedad aunq no los huéspedes no usen este servicio siempre si es un pequeño detalle a mejorar

This was a great property. Staff was very professional, set us up with transportation to the port and provided answers to all of our questions. Held our luggage when we arrived before our rooms were available. Breakfast was really good and the view on the top of our hotel was spectacular of the Acropolis. Staff even allowed us to stay up there at night but had us let then know when we were done so they could lock up the rooftop door. Rooms were small but clean and our balcony did have a side view of Acropolis. Very nice property. The street, like many other Athens streets had some graffiti and some of the sidewalks were not even, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Great location to walk to Psirri, Acropolis and right across the street from some ruins. I highly recommend this hotel for location, nice rooms, professional staff and clean accommodations and views of the Acropolis. We felt safe at this location.

Basic hotel but has everything you need. Very clean bathroom. Great towels. Air conditioning worked great. Mini bar. Balcony. Hot water is very hot. EXCELLENT LOCATION! 30 minute walk to Acropolis. 5 min walk to literally 100+ restaurants and shops. Rooftop breakfast looking at the Parthenon. Only downside was our 3rd floor room right below breakfast patio - heard everyone pulling out their chairs on the concrete starting at 6 am. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very clean and well run and is 5 mins walk to the first of many tourist areas. The rooftop breakfast was exceptional both food and view wise. The view from our room looked out on the Acropolis.

This hotel was very convenient and clean. The breakfast on the roof is pretty special with the view of the acropolis. We were on the first floor so it was a bit noisy. The area is fine except for a few little pockets. The air conditioning is the best we have ever had in Greece. The rooms are smallish if you are traveling with kids, but totally doable.

Room faced the street and while the balcony was nice, the double glazed doors were useless. It was impossible to sleep except between 2-5am. Bed was really comfortable but the pillows were rock hard. Location is convenient to the sights and transport and the included breakfast is more than decent and a welcome inclusion. Would I stay here again? Probably not, not because it’s bad, but I’d try another hotel nearby

The location of the Jason Inn was excellent--near key archeological sites and the flea market. It was also close to a fine array of restaurants. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was very good with an incredible view of the Acropolis. Our only negative was that it is on a busy street which was noisy. I would ask for a room away from the front of the hotel. However, I would still recommend this hotel and would return there if we return to Athens in the future.

Fantastic location just a few minutes walk from 1 metro (subway) lines. We had a view of the Acropolis from our balcony. Room is cozy but nicely appointed. Staff were helpful and considerate. There's a bit of street noise, but it was the weekend in Athens, so that's unavoidable. Not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, but that's ok. I would absolutely recommend this place.

We arrived in Athens early in the AM. Went to the hotel and were accommodated to be able to leave our luggage in the storage area until our room was ready, and they accommodated an early check in. This hotel is in a great location in historic Athens within walking distance from almost everything. Breakfast was a usual complimentary breakfast, . AC works great, balcony was small but there are two chairs and a table to sit out on. We were on the side with a busy street so some noise once the patio door was closed, but if you are used to some noise you will be okay. Price point for a 3 star was reasonable.

The initial experience of the hotel was negative as I was given a first floor room with a view of a concrete wall and the room had no sunlight.it was a far cry of the room I was anticipating (and had booked and laid for) with city view and balcony. After a discussion with reception I was swiftly moved to the kind of room I booked which was a whole lot better. The room was clean and in terms of size the living space was ok but the bathroom required a little manoeuvring to get in and out of and I am a petite person. The view was lovely and if you popped your head over the balcony you have an amazing view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was lovely and made even better having such a wonderful view of the Acropolis. The hotel is definitely due for an update but if that is not of concern, it is worth the stay as the location is great. Psirri is so vibrant and cool.

Firstly the staff member on check-in was so friendly and helpful, what a nice welcome at 10pm! Our room was clean, had a nice bathroom, tea/coffee, mini bar and a balcony. Breakfast was nice, with all you needed, eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, cereals, toast, pastries, nice coffee and amazing Greek yoghurt. All the staff were very friendly and made for a wonderful stay. We liked the old style lift too. Location is fantastic, walkable to many sites, good shopping and lots of restaurants. We felt very safe in the area. We stayed in the off season so didn't see the breakfast room on the roof top. Highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Jason Inn Hotel Athens. Chris, the front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. The 4th floor terrace provided a wonderful place to have breakfast and take in amazing views of the Acropolis. Our only disappointment was the lack of access to the terrace at sunset or to enjoy the evening air.

The free rooftop breakfast was a great way to start the day. There was a decent assortment of food, plenty of coffee, water and juice. The view from the rooftop is amazing but they do not allow you on the roof at night, which was a big disappointment. Sometimes the staff at the front desk was not very helpful, or friendly.

Earlier this month, my family and I had a wonderful stay at Jason Inn. We arrived before our scheduled check-in time, but the staff kindly allowed us to check in early, which was a great relief after our long journey. The entire property was spotless and well-maintained, and the breakfast spread was fantastic with plenty of choices. I highly recommend trying the creamy yogurt; it’s simply irresistible! Everything we wanted to see was just a short 10-minute walk away, and we felt very secure in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, after our cruise, we stayed at an Airbnb in a different part of Athens and fell victim to pickpockets, losing our cash. We truly felt much safer at Jason Inn and regretted not booking it again for our return trip.

The front counter staff on June 3 for day shift is very impolite and not helpful. We asked for information about any places to visit and told us to wait for 10 minutes for no customers ask for services at front counter, but no recommendations to us after 10 minutes. At afternoon, we return to hotel and found the keys were not working and he blamed us putting near to the phone but it was not the facts. After he fixed it, we tried again but not success . I needed to go there second time and he was impatient and I showed him a video what I opened the door not success . I was not happy at all but he did not apologize at all. Very unprofessional and rude at all. The staff in the restaurant for breakfast are excellent. The room was very noisy and no blanket in the bed. Also not know why no cup for the teeth brushing in the toilet. We can only use the very small coffee cup instead.

This was a great property. Staff was very professional, set us up with transportation to the port and provided answers to all of our questions. Held our luggage when we arrived before our rooms were available. Breakfast was really good and the view on the top of our hotel was spectacular of the Acropolis. Staff even allowed us to stay up there at night but had us let then know when we were done so they could lock up the rooftop door. Rooms were small but clean and our balcony did have a side view of Acropolis. Very nice property. The street, like many other Athens streets had some graffiti and some of the sidewalks were not even, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Great location to walk to Psirri, Acropolis and right across the street from some ruins. I highly recommend this hotel for location, nice rooms, professional staff and clean accommodations and views of the Acropolis. We felt safe at this location.

The staff was very helpful and kind for our first stay in Athens. We were upgraded to a larger room, and the breakfast was amazing. I loved the Greek yogurt and other options… eating on the roof with a view of the acropolis was incredible. The area outside is a bit off putting, but safe. It was close to lots of dining. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Jason Inn Hotel was excellent. The rooftop breakfast was amazing. The view of the Acropolis was excellent and the food provided was way beyond our expectations. The area around the hotel was tired and bleak but we saw no sign criminal activities.

In a bohemian part of Athens, lots of graffiti and derelict buildings, but we never felt unsafe. There is some sort of property that the police protect around the clock over the road, so there is that too. It was just part of the ambiance of a city long before our time. The hotel is well situated and a short walk from everything you need if you turn left out of the doors, a lot of suburbia and nothing interesting to the right. The reception team are helpful and friendly, the breakfast team are quiet but attentive. the rooms are clean and fresh, beds are comfortable, The first two nights were lovely, but the last night was spoilt by a school group in high spirits for the following days protests in Athens. The chap on reception in the morning was gruff and unfriendly compared to the other staff we encountered. All in all a good experience, I feel I have done Athens now, but I would stay here again, if I had to return.

The hotel is very clean and well run and is 5 mins walk to the first of many tourist areas. The rooftop breakfast was exceptional both food and view wise. The view from our room looked out on the Acropolis.

Excellent location near tourist shopping, dining, and the Acropolis. Hotel was clean and has been renovated to appear more modern ( except the small rickety elevator). The only items that were gluten free at breakfast buffet was fruit.

Great clean room -what a plus with the air conditioning. Showers were awesome after a long day of visiting around Athens. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and plenty of food. The outside breakfast area was awesome to look out to the city and a great view of the Acropolis. Only thing I wish we could have been able to do is go up to the terrace at night to see the Acropolis all light up but they have the doors locked. Hotel was within walking distance of everything you needed.
