Nautilus Apartments Airport by Airstay

Close to ATH airport. Main entrance key pad needs to be replaced as it’s worn out and difficult to read at night. Some light fixtures were not working. Place was clean and spotless. The neighborhood looks run down with empty buildings and out of business stores.

Noisy on Saturday!! We wish we would have known that every Saturday there is a market down on the street. They started setting up at 5:30am and the non-stop street noise continued till the late afternoon. Venders were yelling their produce prices and other various things making it hard to relax. We would stay again, but not on a Friday night / Saturday.

All was as it should. We had the loft and if you book it, you should know the elevator stops one floor underthe floor of the loft. You have to do a level by the stairs, nothing to do but be aware. If you have a lot of luggages, you will have to use the small elevator several times. It is well situated by the beach and a shopping street two blocks above. When you reach the beach front, go right and walk along the beach, there are several restaurant and a big supermarket at the end of the beach.

It’s a convenient apartment complex to stay before getting on a plane to fly back. I stayed there is early October so maybe it’s busier in summer but there aren’t great things to do or restaurants to remember. The TV had no internet signal so all I could watch was tv in Greek which I don’t understand. The washing machine described it’s a bucket where you can handwash your clothes. Just ok for me

The place was ideally situated, and overall everything was fine at first. However, my stay was disrupted early in the morning when I woke up around 5:30–6:00 a.m. to loud noise, shouting, and police activity outside. It turned out there was a farmer’s market that day, and I had parked on the street where it was being set up. Unfortunately, nobody informed me in advance about this, so I was caught off guard and had to rush to move my car while vendors were already setting up around it. It was a stressful and unpleasant situation that could have easily been avoided with a simple notice. I’ve attached photos showing how the street looked quiet and peaceful on Friday night compared to the next morning during the farmer’s market, just to show the contrast. I also texted the property management explaining what happened and asked if I could extend my checkout slightly since I had been woken up so early. Instead of a considerate response, I received a generic message saying they couldn’t extend and that I needed to check out by 10:59 — ironically, even earlier than their stated time. Around 10:15, the cleaning lady was already waiting at the door and seemed upset that I hadn’t checked out yet, even though I left at 11. The town itself is beautiful, and the property has potential, but the lack of communication and poor handling of the situation made it a negative experience. I wouldn’t stay here again or at any property managed by AIRSTAY !

At 5am people started byzzing our unit repeatedly. We went to the microphone and asked them to stop but that did not work. Soon, we looked outside a s saw a farmers market with at least one hundred people setting up booths. We had to move our car so that we wouldnt be blocked in. Additionally, the sheets were dirty and there was not hot water. We contacted the owner for concessions and were told that he would do nothing and does not control the farmers market. However, we feel strongly that he should warn people of this recurring event, as it is very disruptive. So, we came here to make this review to let other know that on some Saturdays there is a farmer's market directly outside of this establishment and you absolutely will not be able to sleep past 4 or 5 am due to the noise.

This was a disappointing stay - had to chase up communication, balcony doors would not close properly & slammed all night in the wind, plates in the cupboard were not cleaned properly, access to the property was limited at checkout due to a market set up directly outside the front door - not recommended

Bad smell in the apprt

The communication with AirStay was poor. We tried to contact them 3 times and didn’t receive any response. There was no water in the fridge, the toilet flush button needs fixing and there was mould on the shower walls. Having said that - the location is awesome and the restaurants plentiful.

Apartment ist nicht für kalte Temperaturen geeignet. Heizkörper im Bad fehlt, die Dusche ist mit Schimmel versehen, Tür der Duschkabine ist kaputt, auf Fliesen Schimnel (siehe vorher/nachher mit Klopapier abgeputzt!), Herd verdreckt, Fenster im Bad lässt sich nicht auf Kipp bringen (nur ganz aufgeklappt). Die Ablage am Bett ist lebensgefährlich (man kann sich Nachts den Kopf anschlagen). Nie wieder!

Amazing place! Very clean, quite ANS comfortable. I only spent 7 hours there but I would have stayed there longer and would like to repeat for sure!

cold inside, coffee machine didn’t work, no hot water in the bathroom. Not enough linens for 3rd bed.

The place was better than expected. Huge balcony, great space. The only issues was the handle in the shower did not have a holder making a shower difficult.

Check in/out was very easy. The staff were very communicative and the property was spacious and well taken care of. I found this place while searching for near airport accommodation and I will be booking again.

Place was great , clean, big, easy check in , only issue we had that the hot water wasn’t easily available, you had to turn on a switch and then wait 15-20 minutes before you can take a shower in the morning.

The loft apartment was huge! And had a wrap around deck with almost 360 views! Only issue is that we barely had any toilet paper and no replacement rolls.

First off, the beds are absolutely terrible. It looks like they bought the cheapest ones possible. The springs literally poke into your back. It's not comfortable at all. Second the shower situation. Both shower heads are broken and they don't stay up so you're forced to shower in the corner. Also, both shower doors are off the tracks and feel like they're going to fall off at any moment. If they don't close properly and you flood the whole bathroom. Lastly, the fridge was full of ice and leaking water all over. I nearly slipped tripped and fell. For the money it was not worth it at all. Honestly it was the worst hotel we stayed and we were in Greece for 3 weeks.

I only stayed 13 hours but it was clean, quiet and they arranged a taxi to the airport for me at 3:45am.

very nice apartment and views. clean and comfortable. it was nice to walk around the town and find good restaurants and bakery. communication was excellent with host and they were helpful with transportation. highly recommend it

Perfect for an early morning flight. Interesting neighborhood near the water with good restaurants on the beach. Characteristically friendly Greecians abound.
