Great place for a solo mini reset vacation. Restaurant, message and relaxing areas to read, people watch or be in your own mind.

We love this place, but it's slipped a bit. Our room was not vacuumed during our 3-day stay, we had to get extra toilet paper as it was not restocked adequately, and the House of Better staff were lacking. Ordered a beer from the pool, and they brought a completely different beer. When we asked them about it, they said that they were out of the beer that we ordered, so they substituted it with another beer. They should have checked with us first. Also, the House of Better staff were a bit rude. Not the service or responses that we're used to. Stay was September 17-20.

Stayed 1 night

Even though the vibe was cute, this definitely felt like a motel with a coat of paint that was now charging a premium for the aesthetic. It felt very nickel and dime-y- the cushioned loungers and bottled water in the room were extra charges, and there was a shelf in the bathroom with extras like deodorant that you could purchase. The bathing facilities were also disappointing; the outdoor pools were fine if not glamorous, but the mud bath area felt like a high school gym. The indoor hot tub area also felt industrial but not in a trendy way- like a garage. The view from our room was a rooftop generator; this was after we paid to upgrade from our original downstairs room which was totally devoid of natural light due to facing a brick wall. The staff was friendly and attentive, though! The location was great as well.
