Across reviews, Affordable Suites Mooresville is a budget-friendly, apartment-style option with widely praised staff and a convenient, mostly quiet location, though experiences vary, especially around room condition, with some guests noting wear, odors, or maintenance concerns.
Suites provide separate living areas and full kitchens suited to longer stays. Cleanliness feedback ranges from very clean to reports of stained furnishings, dusty carpets, or occasional bugs. Expect secure courtyard access, on-site laundry, easy parking, limited front-desk hours, and no elevator. Overall, it suits travelers who prioritize space and self-catering over full-service amenities.

I liked the stay here, rooms were spacious, bed and pillows were comfortable. The A/C unfortunately wasn’t working as well as it should but we didn’t bring it up so can’t complain about that. The staff was very friendly too. Keep in mind there aren’t elevators, there is only 1st and 2nd floor just in case you have problems with steps, make sure to request 1st floor if available. Would stay again!

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was also clean however, I would say it just overall had a smoky smell, even though the room was non smoking. They had a really cute courtyard area and a functional laundry facility, but there was no gym. The area was also a great location close to plenty of stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and the room size was way larger than I expected. I did not know it was an extended stay so just a heads up there’s no daily housekeeping.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was very quiet and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was disappointed that the grills didn’t work. I would definitely stay at this place again.

Was easy to check in and out. Staff was friendly and professional. Any time I needed something we were able to get it. Easy parking. Felt secure. Was a little out dated but still very nice for the price. Traffic around that hotel is the worst for leaving and coming back Sunday thru Friday. We got the room to be able to cook but only used to microwave so I don't know how well the stove or oven worked. There also was an obscure gentlemen's club within walking distance from the hotel and I was happy to see that I did not notice any increased traffic not any unsafe practices in or around the place. It is difficult to get food delivered as the main door into the apartment like rooms is locked so you would have to go upfront for food deliveries.

Great value for money, and the manager of the property was super helpful to me with a late arrival. Rooms are very spacious! Lots of room to settle in! I was there for a week, so I really appreciated being able to feel like I was in an apartment and not a hotel room. Great access to dining and shopping all around the hotel -- and easy access to interstate. Some things to know. Need some additional housewares in the room, I believe. And, both of the cardio machines in the gym area were broken. Laundry room was perfect. And, wifi worked like a charm. Needs a little love and care, but GREAT value for money if you have a multi-day stay in the area.

We liked that a key was required to enter the premises. It was an open concept and felt very safe. The room was very clean and spacious, temperature was perfect, shower was great. King bed was comfy but couch..not so (guess thats expected) there were no sheets available til the next morning (that was very disappointing but we improvised). Overall we were very impressed and would much rather book there then a hotel. Price was super affordable and we would recommend booking a stay

The area was nice and quiet but the room was dirty. Asked for non smoking room and the room smelled of smoke with burn marks on the couch and carpets. White socks were filthy after walking around in the room and also the dishes were dirty.

This was a no animals, no smoking place. There were 2 dogs in a room near us that kept barking 😑 Our room smelled of cigarette smoke and the couchhad burn holes in it. We went out and bought air freshener to help with that. There was chocolate pudding on the walkway inside the locked door. We were told the office would not be opened after 6pm Friday evening.

Avoid this hotel! This hotel seems to have low class staff and people living in this hotel, maybe section 8 housing. The room smelled disgusting, was dirty and trash under beds and couches. The desk chair was all ripped up, the bathroom door did not close either. The Front desk employee is trashy and rude and yup can’t get any new towels during your stay either. The tub was nasty and didn’t drain the water in it. There was a few kitchen items but would never use them they were very old and nasty looking. Do your self a favor and find another hotel in the area. You get what you pay for and this hotel is not worth trying to save a few dollars

Good: The manager helped us check in early by 12 noon. The kitchen didn't have enough utensils, but the office provided us with a new saucepan that we needed. The location was quite good and close to the restaurants and stores. Bad: The place wasn't kept clean at all. The carpet was super dirty. Our feet were dirty after walking on the room carpet. I have allergies, and I kept coughing endlessly as soon as I entered the room. I had to turn the AC off in order to sleep. It looked as if the AC was spraying allergens on me. The bathroom wasn't clean and had dust or mold at its corners. The stairs were also super dirty.

The communal courtyard was an unexpected surprise. It was simple, but welcoming, clean and peaceful. The room wasn't in immaculate condition, (fan was wonky etc.) but for the price it was an exceptional deal and I don't plan on staying in any other hotel when I return to the city. Full stove, refrigerator and the spacious layout were highlights for me.

Pros- Was a newly remodeled room, was fresh and clean. Plenty of room. Had good Wi-Fi. Had a TV in both the living room and bedroom. Great pricing. Cons- Printed TV guides were not correct. Really could use a bedroom door. Noise easily travels from one area to the other as the floors are a hard finish. Toilet wobbled, installer didn't shim it for the new flooring.

This no frills hotel was perfect for our stay. While the room was dated, it was clean and did the trick! The room was super spacious with a separate bedroom and kitchen/living area. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of amenities for our use. The kitchen had what we needed to eat leftovers which was perfect. You could cook here easily too! My only complaint would be the need for black out curtains--the blinds in the room let in a lot of light in the mornings and made it hard to sleep after some pretty late nights out at the activities we had planned in town. The location was super convenient right off I-77 and nearby everything in Mooresville/Lake Normal area. We would definitely stay here again and likely will do so next time we are in town.

Check in was interesting. We arrived a little late so we were told to use the check in boxes. We were assigned a box number and a code. The code didn’t work. We called the contact number 5 times before reaching the manager. He was very nice. He reset the code but realized that he had forgotten to put the check in package in the box. The accommodation was ok. The bed was comfortable but the hide a bed was hard and had no sheets. No hangers. For an apartment type unit, there was no extras. There was 2 cups, 2 plates and 2 bowls. No toaster. No frying pan. No pots to cook in. There was a couple knives and spoons and only 1 fork. We ended up going to a dollar store to buy a big bowl and some cutlery. There are no bbq grills and no housekeeping.

Located just outside the hustle and bustle of Mooresville. Its basically a one bedroom apartment with a center common area outside to barbecue or just sit and visit. You really couldnt adk for more, especially at that price. If you are planning to cook and eat in the room you would want to grab some cheap plates, etc. from the dollar store.

I stayed 4 days on business and the full kitchen allowed me to make all of my own meals, which I prefer to do. The unit was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The place was quiet with easy access to highway to Charlotte and airport. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this property for the price.

We've had a couple good stays here. The place has been remodled nicely. I could nit pick about a couple things. We arrived new year's day for 1 night, so limited staff, wasn't enough to worry about (example -burned out bathroom bulb, dark, lol couple other minor things.. No "emergency". I do wish there was more than a skillet. Sauce pan and cookie sheet would be nice ... and hot pads, pot holders are never provided in any hotel kitchens where we rent. Overall 5. My little complaints aren't worth a star ! We'll be back again !

Property grounds were good and safe. The kitchenette in our unit was in rough shape and needed attention as far as cooking utensils missing it broken. Property staff were new operators who were friendly and trying to correct the deficiencies.

Much nicer than I expected. Not a lot of dishes available for use, but didn’t matter since we were only there 2 nights.
