Several reviews mention the pool being closed or too cold and elevators out of service, though parking is generally easy. Rooms are often spacious and comfortable, but guests report weak or nonworking AC, TVs and outlets, sliding bathroom doors with limited privacy, spotty Wi-Fi, and noise from the interstate in some rooms. A practical stop for road trips, but verify the status of the pool, elevators, and room features before arrival.

Facilities

Liked the bed and furniture overall. However, seems shower doors installed incorrectly- had to get in shower to turn water on and adjust- instead standing outside shower. Carpet had stains, upholstered chair in dining was stained and seams ripping. Barely any tv to watch - most channels infomercials. Pool pump not working as water had gunk on it and green tinge.

Pool was down for maintenance-chemicals added to the pool. Was told on day of checkin it would be available the next day, pool was not available the next day and they had no answer when it would be ready. We checked out and found a new hotel with indoor pool that was up and running.

I use the Hiltons app to use the digital key, when I got to the hotel I didn’t get the room they told me I would have and it was not the room I chose. We went to the pool and it was freezing, there were no towels so I went to get some from the front desk, they only had two. The tv remote was missing a back. I would not stay here again.

Added $50 fee in case of damage . Suppose to get it back in a few days after we leave . Get in elevator and it’s literally pitch black . No light at all. Told the clerk and she knew and said oh ya it’s having electrical problems . Never disabled the broken one ! She says just use the other one but if that one is on the floor it just re opens its doors . We took the stairs . Never ever stay here again! There’s a gross red spot on curtains that looks like blood with bumps in it !

We arrived around 10:15pm. The elevators were down due to mechanical issues, the lobby was very humid and uncomfortable to stand in. Front desk guy was well mannered and helpful with all the issues we came across, our room was on the 4th floor, told us we were automatically given a discount on our room due to the elevator situation. Once we get to our room we find it to be door jammed from the inside, we call front desk and he reassigned a new room with a further discount. He came up from the lobby to personally deliver our new keys to our new room. It seemed like he was the only worker for the night.

Pool was out of service for the whole visit, said temporarily closed for maintenance, but yet they apparently never did anything. Bed and trash are only made and take it out every other day the bathroom floor was filthy. I hand mopped it myself, and the towel was covered in dirtso definitely needs to be vacuumed mopped trash taken out in beds made daily.

This place has fallen into disrepair. One of the two elevators has been broken for two months. One of the rooms in our party had a missing fridge and several power outlets didn't work. Another room in our part had several outlets that didn't work. The breakfast room is always hot like the A/C isn't working well. The elevator carpets were disgusting. And they're flying a tattered American flag outside. Stayed twice, wouldn't stay there again.

Arrived for check-in with no a/c in our room. Apparently were supposed to be put in a different room but staff didn't know. Water all over hall way in front of elevators the whole time we were there. Pool was closed the whole time we were there. Was a very frustrating trip.

Air conditioner was broken. Never got house keeping. Had to go to the front desk to get clean towels and toilet paper. Had to search for someone to help at the front desk. Door lock died so we had 3 separate sets of keys. Only had one functioning elevator which eventually broke during our stay. Tv remote receiver broke. Stains on the floor and curtains.

Cleanliness was the main issue. the sofa in our room smelled like a dog had defecated on it several times. We couldn't sit on it without gagging. The elevators looked like they are never cleaned or vacuumed. They also smelled like a working barn. We usually like staying at this hotel because we can count on the clean rooms....This location needs to look at their cleaning protocol. We would not stay here again.

The hotel was really dirty like in all aspects (lobby, hallways, elevators, and rooms). I do not think this place has had a real cleaning in years. For example, the window blinds, towel rack, and TV mount in the room were broken. The back of the bathroom door has probably never been cleaned. There were brown smudges on the wall by the toilet paper dispenser. The carpet was gross. There were white markings all over the couch. Previous occupant toothpaste markings on the bathroom mirror. I could go on. When paying almost $500 for the weekend, I would expect a better level of cleanliness. Especially from a Hilton hotel.

Upon arrival, our room was not properly cleaned. The floors were covered in dirt, and the bathtub contained debris. We were informed that housekeeping was unavailable and that the room could not be cleaned until the following day. When it was finally cleaned, the quality was poor. Despite requesting daily housekeeping, the room was not serviced again for four days. When it was eventually cleaned, the floors were still dirty, and the beds were left unmade. Additionally, breakfast service each morning was inadequate. Many items were consistently unavailable, and staff repeatedly stated they had no additional stock to replenish the offerings.

Young man that checked us in was very nice . Everything went down hill from there. The floor in the elevator was filthy. We got to our room and the carpet was stained everywhere and had not been vacuumed. The front of TV was filthy. We insisted on being moved to another room. The carpet was better. Duvet was stained, tv filthy. The whole place smelled. The halls needed a good vacuum. Overall the place needs cleaning. Would not recommend.

Desk clerk was polite and helpful, but that’s where the good ends. Room was dirty, stained and gross. The sleeper sofa fold out had urine and blood stains on it, couldn’t even put the kids in it to sleep!! The carpets were very stained, closets had empty bottle in it. The whole room had no sound deadening and poor lighting. Bathroom had dead spiders on floor. Went to breakfast with an hour left for it and there wasn’t any eggs, sausage and cereal was stale! Was the worst hotel we stayed in out of the three on this trip!! Definitely not going back!!!

When we walked in to the room we were given, it was dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned since previous reservation. Went back to the front desk to let them know and change rooms. Went to the 2nd room, toilet was broke, it wouldn’t even flush. Let front desk know. Given a 3rd room. It was 2 queen beds, I paid for 1 king, so that wasn’t going to work. Finally, given 1 king bed suite. It was just ok. This place smells like old stale cigarette smoke in every room. The floors in the hall and elevator look like they’re never vacuumed, there’s no a/c it feels like in the lobby, halls, or elevator. I chose this hotel because usually Hamptons are very nice and clean and it had just a slightly higher rating than the Holiday Inn that’s right in this area as well.

TV did not work. Young lady at the desk tried to help but knew only to press the reset button, which did not help. Carpet was stained. Furniture was garage sale quality at best. I’m used to very nice stays at Hampton Inns but I should have saved some money and stayed at a Motel 6.

I’ve always loved my Hampton Inn experiences but this one left me dissatisfied. I’ve never gone into my room and found the toilet paper roll empty before, thankfully there was a spare roll. But it made me wonder if the sheets were new or was it a used room. We were placed on the 4th floor on the interstate side. So much interstate noise we had to keep our fan unit running to drown the noise so we could sleep. Overall I was very disappointed by my experience, sad to say.

The air-conditioning in our room did not work. First, the unit's fans wouldn't blow air, the front desk gentleman showed us a teick to get through the night. The next day they switched it out with a unit that didnt blow cold air, that night is was 76 in our room. I again had to request them switch units, the third unit finally worked. Did not like how the bathroom door only slid shut, didnt lock, and had a 1" gap between wall and door to see through. Breakfast was okay.

The property and hotel were nice enough, but the bathroom trash can did not have a liner and it was very dirty. Also, for some reason we were given a handicap access room and the drain in the bathroom floor was very dirty. In addition, several of the electrical outlets did not work and the TV didn’t work much of the time either. Wi-Fi was very spotty as well. Finally, for some unknown reason the hotel lobby music played all night and it was necessary to use earplugs on the first floor to block out the sound in the room. That made no sense at all.

Only complaint is that they have sliding doors for the bathrooms that do not fully cover the bathroom door opening...that's super awkward if you're not traveling solo. I get that it saves space, but it's a horrible setup for privacy.

They screws up our reservation from the very beginning. After a huge run around they finally fixed it. The pool Was FREEZING, and no pool Towel. And what was advertised as queen beds were doubles. Breakfast was cold and not upkept. Lots of things were empty at 8am. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

First room we were assigned was already occupied. Second room assigned had no working phone nor a working refrigerator. Re-assigned to another room, it was already occupied also so stayed in second room. On the surface the room seemed clean but there were used q-tips under dresser and dust on furniture. The coffee maker had to be cleaned by my wife to be used. Also, probably the noisiest Hampton I ever stayed at. Won't go back to that one and will not recommend to anyone.

The gentleman at the front desk was so nice! We had a long day of traveling and his attitude and demeanor was exactly what we needed when we arrived!

Nice hotel just off I-35 in Guthrie We had a baseball tournament in Cashion. We have stayed here before. It is nice and clean. Wasn’t as quiet this stay because we had some very noisy kids above us- that is a parent problem, not a hotel one.

Hotel was adequate for our purposes. Room was nice. Staff was excellent. Pool was closed the entire time during our 3 day stay. Breakfast was adequate (had better) as juice machine and toaster was out of commission the entire time. Parking was adequate. Really enjoyed the town of Guthrie and the proximity to the Lazy E rodeo complex. Hotel location allowed easy access to both.

We have stayed at this hotel since it opened and always came back. Front Desk service and help was excellent. Room was clean, but window blind tattered. Someone staying above us was up most of the night banging around and crying in their bathroom. I dont want to ever have a room on the East end of this hotel, next to I 35 with the truck traffic, again. We have always enjoyed Guthrie during our stay.

Nice hotel, clean room, comfortable bed. Very good breakfast, though there was no waffle batter and the juice dispenser was out of commission. The omelets were superb! Friendly staff, plenty of parking space.

Hotel itself is ok. Room ok. Bed comfortable. Breakfast a disaster. When we got there 7:45, there were no oj, coffee, waffle mix, forks or spoons, yogurt displayed without any refridgeration or ice, A tired omlet was available. Yuck. Pool closed. Other guests complained of dirty rooms and lack of response by management. Looks like serious staffing issues.

Breakfast was tasty. The sausage was a nice treat and the potatoes were delicious. Clean area. A bit disappointed I didn’t see regular half&half offered for the coffee. Apples were offered as the fruit. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

Carpet in room very stained. Super gross stain in chair. USB plugs did not work and outlets on bedside table would not hold charger in. Breakfast options were more limted than most places and tasted terrible. Although worker was working hard his music in back of breakfast area was so loud i could not haer the news on the tv. Not like this hotel at all.

Everything was great at this hotel, but the breakfast was the standout. It was the best "free breakfast" that I have had a a hotel in a long time. Good selection of items available at all times.

Room was overbooked was charged for room, will be getting a call from manager to resolve issue. Felt sorry for the young man behind desk he was getting yelled at by other guests, he stayed very professional. I left got a room at another hotel and called manager next day and he was very eager to help.

Was definitely not impressed with this Hampton Inn. I would not stay again. The room looked like they tried updating but failed, it looked cheaply done, had it been cleaner I wouldn't have had an issue. The breakfast was horrible. It appeared that maybe mostly out of town workers stay there.
