Very nice people at the front desk. I had my puppy for the one night that I stayed. It only costing me $20 per night but had no problems with the staff. The Rome was big clean and there was plenty of room in the parking lot, even though the parking lot was kind of small. If you have anything other than a truck or a car.

Property needs to be refreshed. Walls had spots on them, furniture beat up. Refrigerator wouldn’t sit level. Room door didn’t fit well. Could hear all the noise in hallway. Treadmill broken. Staff was fine but property just needs attention.

The room was not clean or well maintained. Bathroom sink top was dirty, dark smear in toilet bowl. Walls were soiled, paint chipping. Sheets were scratchy, pillows were very small like throw pillows. Mattress was uncomfortable. Bathroom mirror, lamps and clothes rack were all corroded. This place needs to be completely renovated!!

Room was filthy. Toilet visibly dirty, something smeared on door jamb, bedside table had a sticky spill that was visible. Carpet was not vacuumed. Putting us in an uncleaned room was unacceptable and we will not use Quality Inn or Choice Hotels again as they do not clean rooms between guests.

I only book hotels on this site with eight or more stars, and I have no idea how this one got that many. There were dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. There was long hair (much longer than mine), hanging off of a hand towel and in the shower. I was utterly exhausted, so I decided to stay. Under normal circumstances, I probably would have left. The sheets and pillows were relatively clean but not 100%. Front desk staff was friendly. The room was pretty bright, I wished I would have brought an eye mask.

Surprised to see 8.2/10 rating. Older, worn place. Reception staff was wonderful and friendly. Beds are quite high and seem to be new mattresses. The bed was very comfortable, although the condition of the whole place prompted extra caution looking for bedbugs. Carpet very worn and the carpet in our room had not been vacuumed. There were bits ands scraps all over including leaves and outdoor debris. We were only there for a quick sleep and didn’t even feel comfortable taking a shower, although there was no visible dirt or mold in the bathroom. We did not report anything to the staff because I had been told this was the last room on the bottom floor and there is no elevator. We had a rough trip and just needed a few hours rest. The staff is very nice, though.

Check in was terrible with the grumpiest customer service I’ve seen at a hotel so far. THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS IN THIS HOTEL!!! You need to drag you luggage up 2 flights of stairs to get to the 2nd level. (They would not accommodate my request for a first floor room). Beds are comfortable and the rooms are sort of clean. Skip the breakfast, we got sick

I booked the hotel in the parking lot. When I went inside the clerk asked if I booked thru 3rd party. I said yes. “Well, it’s going to be 30-45 minutes before you get your room”. “ How old is your granddaughter?” I said 15. “Well she’s an adult, , I guess I have to call 3rd party and explain that again.” I explained that I put her age in where it asked. She was the rudest clerk I have ever come in contact with and this was after driving 14 hours and it was midnight!!!!!

“Hot breakfast” included soggy scrambled eggs that didn’t appear to be refreshed ever (half my family ate lukewarm eggs about 20 minutes after breakfast started, the others found completely cold eggs about an hour into breakfast) and overcooked sausage patties. They also had a toaster so you could toast bread or bagels. And a microwave if you were inclined to microwave water in a styrofoam bowl in order to make instant oatmeal. Not sure about normal price, but we booked at the last minute, so we paid almost $200 for our one room. For that amount, I expected a much nicer hot breakfast and we were all very disappointed.

Overall Ok but experience compared to what it is offering. We stayed only one day at the end or our 14 days road trip. It looks like a small motel, renovated and quality inn tag. It is more like a model 6 or super 8, or days in, and should cost around 80 usd or so compared to 128 we paid in middle of the week. Will never stay here unless price is less than 80. Milk was gone bad and it created health hazard for our baby but we tasted it first and found out. Also heated it to boiling point to double check. Egg was there for many days. Poor breakfast. Staff was good and kind. Smooth check in check out. No complaints. Beds comfortable. Rooms good, renovated. Kindly please not be so greedy and reduce the rate close to 30% to be on line with what hotel has to offer. And ensure breakfast is proper, especially milk and eggs. We travel a lot from past 20 plus years and 17 different countries. so easily able to compare value we are getting.
