What guests think
Amomoxtli stands out for its lush, carefully kept grounds, striking mountain views, a tranquil atmosphere, and generally warm, attentive service, while dining earns both praise and criticism for flavor consistency, limited variety, and occasionally high prices.
Rooms are comfortable and stylish, often with patios and fireplaces plus a morning coffee delivery; however, views and natural light can vary by room, and a few felt quality didn’t match the price. Amenities like the spa and pool are central draws, though some reported scheduling mix-ups, renovations or crowding, premium pricing, and occasional slow restaurant or pool service or check in hiccups. The scenic setting sits outside the center, with rough access roads and limited walkability often mentioned. Overall, expect a serene, pampering escape in nature.
