Red Bug Lodge is a basic property, it is clean and the beds are really comfortable it also has a small kitchenette. It is only a 12 min drive to the gate at Yosemite which is why we chose it. It is expensive for what it is but all the accommodation near the Park is expensive. I would say overall good value for its location.

Awesome! Only thing was the hot water wasn’t working so the shower was an eye opener, but maintenance said they would have taken care of it right away. Only stayed for a day so didn’t matter too much either way or it would have been a 5 star stay. Would stay again.

For the sake of safety, don't stay at Redbud!!! The railing was uneven. The deck floors were worn through and nails were popping, coming out. The bathroom floor had several black curly hairs on it. The frame for the deadbolt was broken. You had to go to the sister hotel 2 miles up the road to get TP if needed. We placed a chair against the door knob for an extra feeling of security. It felt like the Bates motel!!!

We found this room to be ideal for our stay in Yosemite. Huge hotel room with comfortable beds, a giant bathroom, and the kitchenette that made preparing a quick breakfast before leaving for the park very easy. There are closer properties to the park entrance, but we saved nearly $60 per night by staying here and would not change a thing.

Yes. Simple but clean and neat. A/C, fridge and microwave in room. Coffee maker too. 22 steps to get up to our level. No elevator. Nice porch with table and chairs. Check in at Cedar Lodge went well!
