1) The property has changed the name of what we booked from "Signature Studio, Patio" to either "Space Pod Full Bunk" or "Space Pod Queen" on the Hotels.com website. We never knew we were renting a pod. Once there, we learned a pod is like a trailer in a trailer park. It's hard to appreciate how small 150 sq. ft. is, but once you are there, it is very small. There is no place in the pod one can move more than about two feet without running into something. 2) The lock on our particular unit was electronic and very difficult to operate. We got locked out twice and had to seek help. 3) The unit contained everything advertised, but everything was miniature. I never have seen a smaller microwave oven. I feel like there was deceptive advertising. 4) There was room on to walk on one side of the bed, so one person in the bed had had to climb out the end to leave the bed during the night; not for a couple. 5) There was only a small table with one chair; not for a couple. 6) On the last of our four nights, the smoke detector started cheeping about once every minute. The smoke detectors are designed to have a loud piercing sound to awaken sleepers. We called the lodge night number and were told a maintenance person would arrive in 30-45 minutes. Nobody came, and we decided to leave for home. At checkout, we were told there were no maintenance people on Saturday. Fortunately. with help from Hotels.com, the lodge is refunding us the last nights rental fee, which is nice.

Pros: The rooms, beds, sheets and towels very clean. Service was good. Cons: The room that I stayed in had poor lighting. The TV was on the right hand side of the beds. We had to move the coffee maker somewhere else because there was no electrical outlet where it was positioned. Other than that it was great. I will definitely stay here again. THANKS!!

The room was clean however there was a large cobweb and a large daddy longleg spider above the night stand on the ceiling next to the bed. Because of the ceiling being a low southwestern style with round vigias. This was noticeable. Also there were several other bugs like a spider in the sink. This property appears to be an older home that was remodeled into lodges. The paint and cabinets and kitchen area were great. It had a large full size fridge and range. the Bathroom was very nice, however when we took a shower the shower head blew apart sending water everywhere. I tried to fix it by screwing the shower head back together by hand but it still shot out water onto the walls and floors. Despite all these little things the staff was very friendly and they fixed the shower while we were out after we reported it. Also the toilet is round and not oval making it very hard to use the restroom for a man.
