Unit was clean and very nice and the property is in a great location. Kithchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a nice meal. Gas grills are available by the pool. Grocery store and other basic shops directly accross the street. Adjacent beach is beautiful, but the surf makes it a bit of an unrelaxed swim. Onsite restaurant is pricy and the food was unremarkable. All that was needed for check-in was the door code and that was sent in an email. (Tiny print at the botton, si oit on your glasses) That email directs you to download their mobile app for check-in which we were never able to get to load on Android. Perhaps it is Apple only. The 3 stars for check-in was because of the trouble with the app. It wasn't really needed, though, and our check in was seemless. We'd definitely stay again.

This resort property is ideally located near Kapa’a, convenient to a grocery store, numerous dining options and beaches. The grounds are well kept, the pool is lovely with its waterslides and lagoon sand-bottom hot tubs. The beach is pretty with chaise lounges and Adirondack chairs for use. However, it is a rocky beach and waves/current are strong and not ideal for swimming or snorkeling. The Ocean restaurant on property is very nice, beautiful views, but prices are high for food and drink! Our room had a nicely appointed kitchen and bedrooms and bath were spacious. It is rather dark inside the unit. The patios -one with a small dining set and the other with two chairs- are technically “garden view” as listed in description, but not private at all as they face out to parking lot and balconies of another close building. Can’t open drapes for natural light if you don’t wish to be seen inside! As listed, the unit is close to beach and pool, but if a view matters, this unit is not for you! The living area isn’t great for gathering and watching TV. The couch is old and is big enough for two people. There is only one other side chair facing TV and it’s not comfy. Our group of four, one person was left out of space to watch a movie. If you don’t plan on spending evenings like this then I guess it doesn’t matter. There was a large heavy wood 4-seating table in the space that is too big and eats into the overall living space. Laundry access was helpful and washer worked well.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place is absolutely perfect and conveniently located to everything. Oasis was very good (on site restaurant). And the hot tubs with sand bottoms were awesome. Note- the ocean is very wavy! We would happily return and stay longer next time!

We liked this place because it had a beautiful view, fun pool area and grocery store right across the street. It was clean and comfortable. Definitely staying here again when we come back to Kauai.

Fabulous location and wonderful property. Master bath set up is a bit odd with shower in the bath attached to entry and master bath. Otherwise great set up. Many properties with much bigger grassy spaces that face the ocean, but likely much more expensive. Pool is fabulous with waterslides (open 10-6) and open 7am-10pm. Great sunrises from the beach and twice a monk seal hung out for hours. Only 2 very minor issues that were addressed. Brita in the fridge as well as a 3L pitcher so plenty of filter watered. Fairly good amount of utensils, plates, etc. Great for families, but probably not where I'd pick as couples although 2 of 3 hittubs adult only, 16 and up

The place served it's purpose. Room is located close to the pool, parking lot and beach access. Accessibility was key for our family of 7. Check in was easy, staff on the property were nice. Restaurant on the property was delicious and highly rated. Stellar sunrise opportunities every morning during our stay. Beach gear, baby gear and chairs were available for use.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. Spacious with beautiful views. The layout with multiple bathrooms was great! Very clean. Kids loved the pool, slides and hot tubs. Central location makes it easy to explore both the north and south sides of the island. It was truly perfect.

What a wonderful condo in a gorgeous resort on the beach! The condo is spacious, richly appointed, and well equipped. The resort pool is a 185,000 gallon lazy river with multiple waterfalls and spas. It has no equal on the island and few in the state of Hawaii. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant was excellent. Candace at Kauai Calls was very quick to respond and helpful with our requests. I would highly recommend this property!

Had to call the manager about 4 times. Handle on the outside was broken off which meant it was not secure. He did send a repairman the next day. Next the handle fell off bedroom door. Roaches were found in the kitchen manager said it was sprayed 3 weeks ago. Next the fridge was making load noises and the freezer went out. We had to throw out remaining food!

We loved this vacation rental! It was very clean, appliances worked great, furniture clean and comfortable. The views of the ocean were amazing, and we really appreciated the supply of beach chairs and umbrellas. The added touch of laundry detergent, coffee/creamer, and sugar was really nice as well. The pool and spas were great and we loved eating at the Oasis restaurant!

This beautiful condo with amazing views was very clean and functional and nicely decorated and equipped. The restaurant on-site, although expensive, has good food and there's a Safeway just across the street to stock up on groceries.

Spent a week here with our family of six. Condo was absolutely perfect: spotlessly clean, spacious, well-appointed, centrally located. Beds are extremely comfortable, even the fold-out twin and couch, and the unit is very quiet when the patio doors are closed at night. The kitchen is fully equipped, which was wonderful because we mostly cooked in and ate on the lovely lanai. We also really appreciated the washer/dryer after a couple of very muddy hikes! The resort pool is just as amazing as it seems in the pictures, and beach access is just steps away. There is plenty of parking, even during a busy spring break week. Safeway is an easy walk across the road if you need groceries, sunscreen, etc. Candace was wonderful to work with, very responsive to questions/communications (thank you, Candace!). Overall, the best experience we've ever had on VRBO! We would definitely hope to stay here again if we return to Kauai!

I am a very particular person when it comes to where I stay. I was a little disappointed in this place, a little mold in the shower, dust on the bathroom lights, just overall well used. We had a good time but had a few small hiccups. The TV didn't work in the living room, the hot water was hit and miss, the linens on the bed are cheap polyester and no rug or towel in the bathroom for when you get out of the shower. Small things overall but just a few details you should be aware of. The location was great, big, fun pool with slides, and great coffee shop across the street (collab cafe). Sun rises were amazing here! One other thing to be aware of is there is no front desk to help if something is wrong, you have to get the property manager to help you and in our case he was out of town and unavailable during our stay unfortunately. Very close to the airport and some good places to eat, JO2, Hukilau Lani and Java Kai were a few of our favorites.

Beautiful unit for our family of 5. Enough space for all of us to stay/sleep comfortably.Upon checkin, we noticed the sheets on the sleeper sofa were not clean (visibly stained), so I had to start our stay by washing these. Good news is there is washer/dryer in the unit, and laundry pods were provided.Everything else was great-my kids loved the pool, waterslides and hot tub. I loved the sunrise and the seal on the beach!We only stayed one night and would definitely stay longer next time..

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Everything was exactly as described and in perfect working order.The room was very clean and the property manager was able to accommodate a small request very quickly.We would go back here in a heartbeat!

We walked into the condo and WOW! The ocean was front and center. We immediately relaxed. The condo was thoughtfully appointed with nice touches like night lights and a welcome gift. We loved falling asleep every night listening to the waves after a day of adventures and swimming in that gorgeous pool. It was easy to prepare meals. There was plenty of space to recharge. Love a great balcony! Thanks to our communicative and easily accessible hosts who clearly cared about our experience and made us feel very welcomed.

The unit and resort exceeded our expectations (and our expectations were high given the ratings, reviews, pictures, etc). The room was clean, it comfortably fit our family of 6 (plenty of bed space with 3 comfortable king beds and a pull out, and 3 bathrooms), the pool and hot tub area were beautiful, and the maintenance of the grounds made for a stunning atmosphere on the beach. We also loved the location, next to a grocery store and near many dining and shopping options, close to the airport, and halfway between the north and south shores. We could not have asked for better, and we look forward to returning!!

The living area isn’t great for gathering and watching TV. The couch is old and is big enough for two people. There is only one other side chair facing TV and it’s not comfy. Our group of four, one person was left out of space to watch a movie. If you don’t plan on spending evenings like this then I guess it doesn’t matter. There was a large heavy wood 4-seating table in the space that is too big and eats into the overall living space. Laundry access was helpful and washer worked well.

G306 is perfectly located to enjoy a quiet ocean view, away from any potential noise from the pool area. Yet only a short walk to the pool. The unit and the grounds were well maintained. Kitchen appliances are updated. Bathrooms are very nice. Large living area to enjoy with family. Overall the location of this resort is perfect here on the east side of Kauai, making trips to either North or South shores a short drive. HIGHLY recommend G306!

I searched VRBO listings for a long time for a property that met our family’s needs. We have three adult children that came on the vacation with us two boys and a girl. Ideally, we get a three bedroom condo, but I really wasn’t finding one that was in our price range and desired location. I decided to go with this property because it specifically said there was a queen and twin bed in the second bedroom. My kids do not care about sharing a bedroom, but my two adult boys need a queen or king.When we arrived at the property, we were very disappointed to see. It was a double bed in the second room. We even measured it to make sure our eyes were not playing tricks on us.My boys could not comfortably sleep in it together, so one had to uncomfortably sleep on a sleeper sofa for 10 days. I would never have spent that amount of money for one of my kids to sleep on a sleeper sofa. Also, the bathroom configuration is also incorrect on the website. It states there is three bathrooms, each of which have a shower that is not the case. Once again, we specifically picked this property because there were three bathrooms with three showers. It makes it easier when we are all getting ready . This condo was perfect for our family of 5. Spacious with beautiful views. The layout with multiple bathrooms was great! Very clean. Kids loved the pool, slides and hot tubs. Central location makes it easy to explore both the north and south sides of the island. It was truly perfect.

Had to call the manager about 4 times. Handle on the outside was broken off which meant it was not secure. He did send a repairman the next day. Next the handle fell off bedroom door. Roaches were found in the kitchen manager said it was sprayed 3 weeks ago. Next the fridge was making load noises and the freezer went out. We had to throw out remaining food!

Unit was clean and very nice and the property is in a great location. Kithchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a nice meal. Gas grills are available by the pool. Grocery store and other basic shops directly accross the street. Adjacent beach is beautiful, but the surf makes it a bit of an unrelaxed swim. Onsite restaurant is pricy and the food was unremarkable. All that was needed for check-in was the door code and that was sent in an email. We loved the space and really enjoyed our time. we were a family with four adults and four kids ranging in ages from 9 to 13. The location was convenient to drive to all the destinations we wanted to go to and we loved walking into town for breakfast, coffee, and treats! The staff was great and, the condo was perfect. We would absolutely stay again.

The place served it's purpose. Room is located close to the pool, parking lot and beach access. Accessibility was key for our family of 7. Check in was easy, staff on the property were nice. Restaurant on the property was delicious and highly rated. Stellar sunrise opportunities every morning during our stay. Beach gear, baby gear and chairs were available for use.

The location of the property can't be beat - Kapa'a is centrally located, and the property itself is right on the ocean, with gorgeous views. The condo itself looks just like the photos. My problem was with the property management company. When we arrived (for a 7 day stay) there was a sign announcing that both the dishwasher and microwave were broken!!! They provided a "replacement" microwave which sorta worked - the rotating plate didn't rotate - but they NEVER fixed or replaced the dishwasher. Even worse, every day they told me that a repair person would be there the "next day" to fix it. Halfway through the stay, they offered me a 10% discount to compensate for 3 days of no dishwasher and said it would be repaired the next day. The next day came and went...no one showed up again! They said they'd replace it the following day...no one showed up. Meanwhile we are hand washing dishes for a whole family 3x day - something I don't even have to do at home. I paid a premium to ensure I wouldn't have to wash dishes on vacation. They day before we left they said they wouldn't be fixing it at all !! All they agreed to was a late check out to accommodate me for the 2nd half of our trip. Beautiful property but beware of this management company!

Stumbled upon this place and the photos don't serve it justice. Our party was 4 adults and 2 children and everyone had fun whether it was hanging out at the pool or traveling from this perfectly centralized location. Reached out once during our trip for something small and Candace immediately got back to us and the issue was resolved before we returned. Already planning our trip back.

This unit and the location are excellent! The unit is well appointed with dishes and any cookware you might need. At the same time who needs to cook when you've got some of the islands best restaurants steps from your door (Oasis on the Beach, JO2's, Zumo Sushi)!! If you do decide to cook in unit there is a well stocked Safeway just across the street where you can get anything you need. In addition to the wonderful food options nearby, staying on the east side of the island is great for being able to get to all the main destinations without feeling like you spent an entire day driving. Hanalei and Poipu are only 30ish minutes away and Waimea is under an hour. If beaches are what you're looking for, then Kapa'a has you covered! No they aren't the super popular south shore beaches and you won't be catching the big waves of the north shore, but if you're looking for some great sun & sand with a few waves in protected coves, the east shore has you covered.Finally if you're the adventure type and want to do some hiking, Sleeping Giant trailhead is under 2 miles from this location and offers spectacular views of the Island and east shore, we did a sun rise hike one morning and were able to see the sun rising over O'ahu! It was magical!If you can't tell, I highly recommend this property and the general location, it was one of the best vacations we've been on!

Loved staying on the east side of the island. Very centrally located for all of the beaches. The kids loved the pool and it was very nice to be on the beach. The rooms very very nice and spacious. This resort property is ideally located near Kapa’a, convenient to a grocery store, numerous dining options and beaches. The grounds are well kept, the pool is lovely with its waterslides and lagoon sand-bottom hot tubs. The beach is pretty with chaise lounges and Adirondack chairs for use. However, it is a rocky beach and waves/current are strong and not ideal for swimming or snorkeling. The Ocean restaurant on property is very nice, beautiful views, but prices are high for food and drink! Our room had a nicely appointed kitchen and bedrooms and bath were spacious. It is rather dark inside the unit. The patios -one with a small dining set and the other with two chairs- are technically “garden view” as listed in description, but not private at all as they face out to parking lot and balconies of another close building. Can’t open drapes for natural light if you don’t wish to be seen inside! As listed, the unit is close to beach and pool, but if a view matters, this unit is not for you! The living area isn’t great for gathering and watching TV. The couch is old and is big enough for two people. There is only one other side chair facing TV and it’s not comfy. Our group of four, one person was left out of space to watch a movie. If you don’t plan on spending evenings like this then I guess it doesn’t matter. There was a large heavy wood 4-seating table in the space that is too big and eats into the overall living space. Laundry access was helpful and washer worked well.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The place is absolutely perfect and conveniently located to everything. Oasis was very good (on site restaurant). And the hot tubs with sand bottoms were awesome. Note- the ocean is very wavy! We would happily return and stay longer next time!

This beautiful condo with amazing views was very clean and functional and nicely decorated and equipped. The restaurant on-site, although expensive, has good food and there's a Safeway just across the street to stock up on groceries.

This unit and the location are excellent! The unit is well appointed with dishes and any cookware you might need. At the same time who needs to cook when you've got some of the islands best restaurants steps from your door (Oasis on the Beach, JO2's, Zumo Sushi)!! If you do decide to cook in unit there is a well stocked Safeway just across the street where you can get anything you need. In addition to the wonderful food options nearby, staying on the east side of the island is great for being able to get to all the main destinations without feeling like you spent an entire day driving. Hanalei and Poipu are only 30ish minutes away and Waimea is under an hour. If beaches are what you're looking for, then Kapa'a has you covered! No they aren't the super popular south shore beaches and you won't be catching the big waves of the north shore, but if you're looking for some great sun & sand with a few waves in protected coves, the east shore has you covered.Finally if you're the adventure type and want to do some hiking, Sleeping Giant trailhead is under 2 miles from this location and offers spectacular views of the Island and east shore, we did a sun rise hike one morning and were able to see the sun rising over O'ahu! It was magical!If you can't tell, I highly recommend this property and the general location, it was one of the best vacations we've been on!

The place served it's purpose. Room is located close to the pool, parking lot and beach access. Accessibility was key for our family of 7. Check in was easy, staff on the property were nice. Restaurant on the property was delicious and highly rated. Stellar sunrise opportunities every morning during our stay. Beach gear, baby gear and chairs were available for use.

What a wonderful condo in a gorgeous resort on the beach! The condo is spacious, richly appointed, and well equipped. The resort pool is a 185,000 gallon lazy river with multiple waterfalls and spas. It has no equal on the island and few in the state of Hawaii. The Oasis on the Beach restaurant was excellent. Candace at Kauai Calls was very quick to respond and helpful with our requests. I would highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay! The room was the perfect size for our family of 5 with 3 teenage daughters. The location was great for visiting either side of the island and having downtime at the pool was perfect! We will definitely be back.

We traveled with our 3 children and this condo was perfect! We could enjoy the ocean sounds and breeze, swim at the pool, shop for good right across the street. Also, plenty of space for all 5 of with beds. There were two bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! The hostess was super attentive and helpful!

Family of sex with older teenagers that stayed here. It was perfect location and proximity to the airport as well as splitting the ride between all the parks that we did. The property is very well kept including the common areas. Owner was very responsive and helpful. It is right across the street from a grocery store and walking distance to a couple of restaurants. It is conveniently located by the coconut marketplace as well. Plenty of beach space although the water is rough on the side of the island so watch the little ones.
