The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had two stays in the hotel within a week as we booked a few extra days. The dining options were excellent and the rooms we had were both lovely. Also noteworthy was the spa. The ladies were very nice and I enjoyed my pedicure. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Hope to visit again soon.

Décevant dès le début , nous avions réservé en payement sur place générant un surplus et avons du payer en avance sous menace d’annuler notre réservation , le tarif est cependant resté le même malgré mes multiples demandes. Chambre sans intimité, vue constante sur les chambre voisines. All inclusif très limité beaucoup de chose en extra charge. Plage privée sale et bain de soleil en fin de vie. Tout semble fait au détriment du client. Sourires contre tips . Très très déçus

Insgesamt waren wir nicht zufrieden. Das hatte mehrere Gründe (die nicht 5-Sterne-würdig sind): 1. All-Inclusive: Aber inclusive ist da gar nicht ALL. Man muss sich eine App laden, in der man sehen kann, welche Speisen und Getränke inclusive sind. Bei jeder Bestellung wird man ablehnend behandelt, wenn diese inclusive ist. Man wird permanent in zusätzliche Ausgaben gedrängt. Am Abreisetag erhielten wir nicht einmal mehr ein Mittagessen, obwohl wir am Anreisetag so spät ankamen, dass wir weder Frühstück, Mittag noch Abendessen in Anspruch nahmen. Bei Mittagessen (seltsamerweise á la carte) warteten wir den einen Tag ganze 2h auf unsere Bestellung (allein 45 Minuten auf die Karte). Von der Kellnerin gab es nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung. Eine Cola zum Frühstück? Nicht all inclusive! Ein Getränk am Pool? Erst auf Nachfrage und erst ab 11:15 Uhr! 2. Unser Zimmer lag unterhalb des Dunstabzuges der Küche. Mehr braucht man dazu nicht ausführen. 3. Die Sauna schließt schon 18:00 Uhr. Warum? Die Sauna besucht man doch eher abends. 4. Zum Strand muss man eine Straße queren. Stand ist maximal okay. Service dort nur ganz sporadisch 5. Hotel liegt exakt unter der Einflugschneise des Flughafens Heraklion 6. Es gibt nur sehr sehr freundliches oder sehr unfreundliches Personal. Aber durchaus positiv war: 1. grandioses Essensauswahl, sehr lecker 2. tolles Zimmer mit riesiger Terrasse und Außenkamin 3. ziemlich zentrale aber bis auf die einfliegenden Flugzeuge ruhige Lage

We last stayed here when it was called the Elysium. Then it was superb hence the easy choice for returning. Barring a door key issue that was resolved easily enough everything has been perfect. The food here is really good, breakfast is buffet but high in quality. The dinner we had here the food was plentiful and again buffet. Drinks are good quality too. Another great stay this time we picked a designer room with a pool. Just brilliant. Good quality for a fair price. We will be back again. They upgraded the sun loungers to proper comfortable ones and the umbrellas are also changed. Barring that it’s the same great service and quality your money deserves!

Whew! This hotel blew me away. My room was PERFECT. The room service, large outdoor space with a fire place, Netflix, the food, and facilities. The lady at the spa and guys that worked at the bar/restaurant were so lovely. The gym was well equipped, really clean and quiet. Water sports are only 2 minutes away a with local convenience shops, new restaurants and a tour available. The reception ladies even gave me a birthday cake and gift to take home❤️ Will be visiting again soon.

Séjour agréable. Accueil souriant et chaleureux. Ma chambre spacieuse. L’équipe au petit soin. Piscine et transat de qualité sans parler de la plage. Départ tardif aucun problème, un endroit où prendre une douche spacieuse. Je recommande cet hôtel.

We have just finished our 2 week honeymoon at Nema. We had the King and Queen treatments at Nema’s spa which had been a gift from my sister, this was a great surprise when checking in and was incredible, the spa itself is beautiful and so relaxing. The hotel is lovely, clean and modern and we were so happy with our room (design independent with private pool) what made our stay even better was the hospitality from staff members, they truly made our experience and were so helpful. A special mention to Odysseas, Soumaya, Nikos, Rustiv, Paris, Marianthis and Mandrin - they really make Nema what it is and add to the experience of the hotel - all staff mentioned went above and beyond to make our stay great! So friendly and approachable with no ask too big or small. I hope they are recognised for the large impact they have on all guests who stay with Nema! Last but not least the food, the food was incredible - everything in Rizes was cooked to perfection and was beautifully served. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing and each evening there was a different theme with an array of dishes to try. We really loved Cretan night and the live music! I would recommend Nema Design and Spa to anyone, it was such a great way to spend our honeymoon!

FR: Propreté relativement ok mais quelques détails a revoir pour un 5 étoiles. (Comme porte vitrée et miroir avec des traces de doigts). Cote nourriture, assez bonne qualité mais pas assez varié !!! Tous les jours la meme choses au buffet et pour le lunch de midi c’est tous les jours les meme choix à la carte. Hotel tres petit on y fait tres vite le tour et les portes des chambres claquent beaucoup trop dans la couloirs ce qui peut être dérangeant. Point positif : personnel (très professionnel et disponible) Le spa mais très cher pour les services proposés Et les chambres avec piscine privée (mais trop de vis a vis). ENG: Cleanliness relatively ok but a few details to review for a 5 stars. (Like glass door and mirror with fingerprints). Food: fairly good quality, but not enough variety! Every day the same thing at the buffet and for lunch it's every day the same choice à la carte. The hotel is very small, you get around it very quickly and the room doors slam too much in the corridor, which can be disturbing. Positive point: staff (very professional and available). The spa, but very expensive for the services on offer. And the rooms with private pools (but too many overlooked areas).

My room, featuring a private pool, provided seclusion, and the staff were warm and accommodating, offering helpful tips on car rentals. However, housekeeping and room service need improvement, as I experienced issues like delayed restocking, missing bathroom towels, and unfulfilled room service requests. The minibar fridge was empty, and dust was noticeable in the breakfast area. I enjoyed the spa's beautiful environment, but my therapist did not fully listen to my needs, so clear communication is essential to ensure a satisfying experience. Overall, the hotel’s food is delicious, and the staff are truly exceptional.

Cependant, pour un lieu présenté comme "un havre de paix", nous avons été très déçus par l'insonorisation des chambres. Les bruits de meubles déplacés étaient constants, rendant le repos difficile, surtout pour mon mari qui est malade du cœur et avait besoin de calme. De plus, nous avons été plusieurs fois dérangés dans la journée, que ce soit pour nous apporter une bouteille d'eau, des capsules de café, ou pour le ménage, et ce, même en ayant mis le panneau "Ne pas déranger" sur la porte. Le ménage est également effectué à des heures improbables, aussi bien tôt le matin qu'en fin d'après-midi, vers 17h30. La chambre disposait d'une baignoire placée à une hauteur assez élevée. Nous sommes jeunes, mais nous nous demandons comment des personnes âgées peuvent l'utiliser sans difficulté. Enfin, la literie n'était pas du tout agréable, ce qui a encore ajouté à notre inconfort.

Loved staying here this hotel was the best out of the 5 we stayed at during our vacation island hopping around Greece. Staff was all very friendly, the place is super clean and modern and the food was really good! I would definitely go back

Cela a était la première déception ,ensuite nous découvrons une chambre au prix élevé avec un gros dégâts des eaux sur le mur de la salle de bain , l’eau qui se répand partout dans la salle de bain après une douche à cause d’une fuite de la parois vitrée. Une salle de bain sans aucune prise électrique. Au niveau de la piscine le peu de brise vue entre les piscines fait en jolie bois flotte était à plusieurs endroit cassé et les morceau laissés au borde de la piscine. À notre retour ils nous on offert une assiette de fruit et avait fait réparé le mur endommagé par un enduit grossier. La manager qui nous a reçu pour s’excuser des désagréments nous a offert notre repas du soir au buffet du restaurant de l’hôtel .nouvelle déconvenue, un responsable de l’hôtel en pantalon chemise débarrasse notre table pendant que nous sommes au buffet des desserts , il va même jusqu’à mettre nos couvert dans nos verres de vins qu’on avait pas fini….. heureusement le responsable de salle en uniforme s’en aperçoit et dans une démarche véritablement sincère vient s’excuser en nous proposant de nous payer lui même un cocktail pour la gêne occasionné . Je tiens à préciser que les personnels de l’hôtel SONT EXCEPTIONNELS

This is not a 5 star hotel, there are a lot of issues: Checking in is very unpersonal selfservice. Rooms at the garden site have a bad snel outside. The begroot shower in bath is small and dangerous. The restaurant in front Seasiders has a smal menu ( only full rushes no snacks )and the staf is not friendly . Breakfast Fresh fruit only crapefruit Oranjes cut in strange slices nobody take so they are Dries out. Area of the hotel is a construction area Will be ok in 2033 . Internet is very slow. Maintenance is needed.

Le All Inclusive n'est PAS un vrai All Inclusive... Certaines boissons et certains plats ne sont pas compris et sont payants.... Peu d'intimité sur les terrasses avec piscines privatives. Beaucoup de passage et tout le monde peut venir voir ce que vous faites. Le personnel de ménage est très sympatique, mais très bruyant dès tôt le matin.

Unbelievable from start to finish. We had a premier suite with a private pool which was incredible. The hotel team were amazing and so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really made the stay memorable. Restaurants were great with plenty of choice. Service around the pool was fantastic and the cleaning services were perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for any couple looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway

We had a lovely stay at the NEMA hotel. The service was superb and very attentive, the selection of food and drinks included in the All-Inclusive Option was great and the hotel itself is very beautiful. We stayed for 8 nights and shared a bigger double room (3 persons) with a balcony and sea view. Can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys the quiet without any kids around the hotel area. Thanks a lot to the staff!

Le lieu est très beau, il reste des choses à finaliser (dans la salle de bain). Hier soir, quelqu'un est entrée dans notre chambre vers 22h, cette personne à tout de suite refermer la porte, elle n'avait pas la blouse de l'hôtel. Il n'y a pas de verou à l'intérieur de la chambre. Mon conjoint est donc allé voir l'accueil, qui lui a dit que c'était un technicien qui s'est trompé. Nous n'avons pratiquement pas dormit ... A l'arrivée dans l'hôtel on nous offre 15 min de massage mais quand nous allons réserver, on nous inique que c'est full. À quoi ça sert d'offrir ça si c'est déjà plein... C'est bien dommage, nous ne faisons jamais ce genre de voyage.

The Resort was great and the staff as well. My only regret is the lack of activities or places to visit around the hotel

My room, featuring a private pool, provided seclusion, and the staff were warm and accommodating, offering helpful tips on car rentals. However, housekeeping and room service need improvement, as I experienced issues like delayed restocking, missing bathroom towels, and unfulfilled room service requests. The minibar fridge was empty, and dust was noticeable in the breakfast area. I enjoyed the spa's beautiful environment, but my therapist did not fully listen to my needs, so clear communication is essential to ensure a satisfying experience. Overall, the hotel’s food is delicious, and the staff are truly exceptional.

The property was as beautiful as we suspected, if not more. Right on the water with great parking out front. We had drinks at the property bar/restaurant and all the staff were so wonderful and fun. ALL the staff was amazing. We are looking forward to coming back with our family soon!

Wonderful luxury hotel. Walking distance to beach and a few very good restaurants. Only had one issue with service from one waitress and one room repair issue. If you like modern boutique experiences then NEMA is for you.

Nema is the must stay option when exploring the Iraklio side of Crete. The location is perfect and cocooned with ability to explore and get anywhere. The hotel itself is divine with stunning facilities!

The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had two stays in the hotel within a week as we booked a few extra days. The dining options were excellent and the rooms we had were both lovely. Also noteworthy was the spa. The ladies were very nice and I enjoyed my pedicure. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Hope to visit again soon.

Le All Inclusive n'est PAS un vrai All Inclusive... Certaines boissons et certains plats ne sont pas compris et sont payants.... Peu d'intimité sur les terrasses avec piscines privatives. Beaucoup de passage et tout le monde peut venir voir ce que vous faites. Le personnel de ménage est très sympatique, mais très bruyant dès tôt le matin.

Insgesamt waren wir nicht zufrieden. Das hatte mehrere Gründe (die nicht 5-Sterne-würdig sind): 1. All-Inclusive: Aber inclusive ist da gar nicht ALL. Man muss sich eine App laden, in der man sehen kann, welche Speisen und Getränke inclusive sind. Bei jeder Bestellung wird man ablehnend behandelt, wenn diese inclusive ist. Man wird permanent in zusätzliche Ausgaben gedrängt. Am Abreisetag erhielten wir nicht einmal mehr ein Mittagessen, obwohl wir am Anreisetag so spät ankamen, dass wir weder Frühstück, Mittag noch Abendessen in Anspruch nahmen. Bei Mittagessen (seltsamerweise á la carte) warteten wir den einen Tag ganze 2h auf unsere Bestellung (allein 45 Minuten auf die Karte). Von der Kellnerin gab es nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung. Eine Cola zum Frühstück? Nicht all inclusive! Ein Getränk am Pool? Erst auf Nachfrage und erst ab 11:15 Uhr! 2. Unser Zimmer lag unterhalb des Dunstabzuges der Küche. Mehr braucht man dazu nicht ausführen. 3. Die Sauna schließt schon 18:00 Uhr. Warum? Die Sauna besucht man doch eher abends. 4. Zum Strand muss man eine Straße queren. Stand ist maximal okay. Service dort nur ganz sporadisch 5. Hotel liegt exakt unter der Einflugschneise des Flughafens Heraklion 6. Es gibt nur sehr sehr freundliches oder sehr unfreundliches Personal. Aber durchaus positiv war: 1. grandioses Essensauswahl, sehr lecker 2. tolles Zimmer mit riesiger Terrasse und Außenkamin 3. ziemlich zentrale aber bis auf die einfliegenden Flugzeuge ruhige Lage

We last stayed here when it was called the Elysium. Then it was superb hence the easy choice for returning. Barring a door key issue that was resolved easily enough everything has been perfect. The food here is really good, breakfast is buffet but high in quality. The dinner we had here the food was plentiful and again buffet. Drinks are good quality too. Another great stay this time we picked a designer room with a pool. Just brilliant. Good quality for a fair price. We will be back again. They upgraded the sun loungers to proper comfortable ones and the umbrellas are also changed. Barring that it’s the same great service and quality your money deserves!

Spent one night at NEMA and absolutely loved dining at Rizes Gastronomy. Creative dishes, beautiful presentation, and flavors worth writing about.

We booked the hotel and paid a lots for getting all inclusive hotel bit when we arrived after the first day we had to pay for things you drink and eat at the restaurants and pool bar.. like paying for sparkling water! For non and alcoholic drinks, and we can't order food at the pool menu, only by paying extra charge!!! They have a samll menu and they telling you that u can order free from there and there is a little few drinks, and thats it! I call it FULL BOARD and not an all inclusive hotel! Also, I booked them and choose the option ti oay when arriving to the hotel and they keep sending me emails and sms that i must pay 2 weeks before i come, if not they will cancel our reservation... A shameful service and experience with that hotel, definitely will be our first and last time there!!

We have just finished our 2 week honeymoon at Nema. We had the King and Queen treatments at Nema’s spa which had been a gift from my sister, this was a great surprise when checking in and was incredible, the spa itself is beautiful and so relaxing. The hotel is lovely, clean and modern and we were so happy with our room (design independent with private pool) what made our stay even better was the hospitality from staff members, they truly made our experience and were so helpful. A special mention to Odysseas, Soumaya, Nikos, Rustiv, Paris, Marianthis and Mandrin - they really make Nema what it is and add to the experience of the hotel - all staff mentioned went above and beyond to make our stay great! So friendly and approachable with no ask too big or small. I hope they are recognised for the large impact they have on all guests who stay with Nema! Last but not least the food, the food was incredible - everything in Rizes was cooked to perfection and was beautifully served. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing and each evening there was a different theme with an array of dishes to try. We really loved Cretan night and the live music! I would recommend Nema Design and Spa to anyone, it was such a great way to spend our honeymoon!
