Clean hotel, friendly staff, beautiful/spacious pool area, and had lots of restaurants nearby. One area for improvement would be the hot tub, it was very dirty with murky water.

On our short stay, the fire alarm went off at about 3:30 am on Sunday morning. Thankfully it was a false alarm. However, we found out the same thing happened the night before and earlier in the week as well. There's supposedly a glitch in the system that the hotel knows about but they do not warn customers who are checking in.

The property is functional for a short stay. I had two days of problems with my electronic key, and although they solved it, on one occasion it took more than 1 hour. We needed an electric car charger, but the hotel's two options didn't work.

My wife and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza over the weekend, and it was a great experience. The facility as a whole was very impressive. The rooms were really nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the outdoor pool and fitness room is amazing and its conveniently located to everything you would want to do in the area. And it's very reasonably priced for a hotel of this quality. Definitely recommend it.

We spent one night at Crowne Plaza. It was easy to find and a good location for the concert we were in town for. The lobby and staff were very nice. We were greeted politley and were able to check in easily. When we made it to our room there was a musty smell, almost like a cat had been in there. The room was clean, organized and spacious. Our king size bed was comfortable as well. The only issue was the odd smell, otherwise the experience would have been 5 stars.

We can't rave enough about how clean and comfortable our stay was! We were traveling with my sister, who does not often stay in hotels, and MIA at the front desk went the extra mile to find a room for her near us on our floor. We very much appreciated her kindness and careful search for a room that worked for my sister. The room was scrupulously clean in every respect. We especially appreciated having the top sheet & comforter SEPARATE from one another, so we could cover up with the lighter sheet and/or comforter as we wanted. Hygiene products were high-end and very welcome. The TV and A/C operated flawlessly. My sister said her room was equally well prepared and very comfortable. The breakfast was perhaps the best one we've ever had in a hotel. We just LOVED the fat sausage links and wondered where they came from -- simply delicious. My sister & I try to eat a keto diet, and there were plenty of selections at breakfast that worked for us. The Crowne Plaza Shenandoah is very near our family that we were visiting, making access easy & quick. For any future stays in the Conroe area, we will definitely choose the Crowne Plaza again. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for an excellent stay in the area.

Our shower didn’t work in our room. I went downstairs to try to get a new room, because the phone in our room didn’t work. Jennifer said that there were no rooms available and that we had to wait for maintenance to come and check it out. We waited an hour, and heard nothing. I finally called back demanding a new room, or we were going to have to check out and go to a different hotel so that we could shower and start our day before the concert that we were attending that evening. About 5 minutes later, we had a new room, right next to the room that we were in. When we checked out, it was Jennifer again, and she was kind of rude as we were leaving. This is a great property, with awesome amenities, but the customer service can definitely use some work.

The woman at the front desk, I think her name was Jennifer. She was awesome ! I got to town early and went to the hotel to see when I could check in and she said, " go to lunch and come back around one o'clock." I went back right around one and she checked me in early. The room was very nice, great location, the restaurant had a great deal going on the appetizers. Everything was clean.

The staff was not courteous at the time of check-in. We got there around an hour earlier than the regular check-in time. They were clueless about when we would get a room. We waited for half an hour and then left for late lunch as no one could tell us when we would get our room. Later on in the middle of the night around 3am, the fire alarm went off. The whole hotel was evacuated. It turned out to be a problem in their system as other guests confirmed that the same issue happened the night before also. The staff was uncooperative and never gave any good answers. Not recommended for a pleasant stay.
