Blue Haven Motel

What guests think

At Blue Haven Motel, travelers consistently describe a no-frills, older, 1950s-style property that is very clean, friendly-run, and budget-friendly, with a convenient, generally quiet location near shops and restaurants, making it a practical stopover.

Several reviews highlight proactive, accommodating hosts who check in ahead of arrival and offer thoughtful help. Some guests found the rooms comfortable and adequately sized, though drawbacks include recurring train noise from nearby tracks and occasional wear or maintenance issues. A sensible pick for a short stopover with basic comforts.

The room and bedding were clean, bed was comfortable, TV and Internet worked well. This was not an expensive stay, and very much worth the money I paid.

This place is older, but was nice and clean it's not fancy, but if you need a nice clean place to spend the night I would recommend it, and they have a gas station a block away and a Dollar general a block away Plus plenty of restaurants choose from at the exit

We experienced a fine manager. Very friendly and helpful. However, the motel is like I stayed in as a child in the 1950s. It was clean and served our purpose at a very low price.

This is a tired old motel on it's last legs. Needs basic maintenance. The blanket on the bed was old and nubby with loads of different hairs on it. Gross. Check in guy was very friendly and accomodating but we wished we had spent a few more bucks and gone elsewhere.

The motel is a time capsule from the 1950's and is a fun place to stay. many of the other guests who gathered outside their rooms and talked until after 4:00 A.M. and therefore made it difficult to sleep.

Maahir was great. I arrived after midnight with a reservation and he was very friendly and welcoming. The motel is a bit older (50’s maybe?) and needs a little tlc, but the room comfortable. Even the late train going by reminded me of growing up a block from the tracks back home.

Clean and orderly, but old and outdated with little upgrade. It is accordingly cheap if one needs to save money.
