Our one night stay was awesome. We were there for a baseball game at First Energy Stadium. We parked our car in the garage and jumped into the free hotel shuttle and in five minutes we were at the stadium. The driver gave us a brief history of the area as we drove to the game. When the game ended, we called the hotel for a return shuttle and a new driver was there in minutes. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were amazing. Our breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had during any stay in any state! If you travel to this area, the Double Tree is a Triple Treat. You will not be disappointed. The front desk staff greeted us as if we were family members. Thank you DT.

We have stayed here numerous times as our girls have competitions at the arena across the street. This past weekend 3/10/23 was the only time I have had a complaint. However it wouldn't stop us from booking here again. The hotel is always clean, staff is always friendly and helpful. My issue this last time was the elevators. We parked on 4th level of garage, we waited @ that elevator for a few until we figured out it was not working. Walked down to next floor ( me, my 8 & 10 year old with all our luggage) it worked but very slowly. Left front desk know so they could put out of order sign on it and make arrangements to be fixed. Manager said he knows it was looked at day or 2 prior but had no idea it wasnt working. 2 days later still not working and no out of order sign in place. All other working ones were very, very slow! They also seemed to be slower with checking in/out this time but maybe like everywhere else they are still understaffed. Again these are just minor things that would not prevent me from rebooking just irritating. I will just use digital check in/out from now on and unload @ front entrance :)

Staff Geremy was rude. The pool was so dirty. The room that we stayed in the cabinet and corners of the drawers was chewed up by dogs. Carpet was dirty. Never coming back to this place.

I have stayed at many double tree hotels but have never experienced any amenities being so dirty a this hotel. The pool water was white and cloudy and just overall not hygienic. My whole family decided to swim anyways because we thought maybe it was too much holding but it was the opposite. My whole family and I got sick from the water and got ear infections. Please clean up your main facilities and also do a better job cleaning your rooms, and overall gues facilities

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Both times it has exceeded our expectations. Every employee we came in contact with was so nice and so helpful. The room is spotless and so comfortable. We used the pool this time with our granddaughter and loved it. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Will definitely be back!

It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. It’s not a quiet areas. I Stayed for a weekend. Breakfast was a 5 star. Staff was friendly. But as soon as I arrived to my room the bathroom was not the cleanest. I was so tired from the drive I did not even bother telling the staff because when I checked in they said staff normally comes to clean the rooms from 9-12PM. I made sure to be out of the hotel for this time and when I came back at 4PM it was the same. No new towels. Trash was still in the trash can. There was no point. I left Sunday morning.

Friendly staff, clean room, modern appeal, convenient parking all were excellent! Te only downside is the train tracks right beside the hotel. Trains by law must blow their horns while coming through residential crossing and it is very load at night. We had two trains come through while sleeping.

Great rooms, awesome heated indoor pool and gym! the tv could use some updating they dont have streaming options and sadly my mini refrig was not working. other then that the staff was great! the bar and food was yummy! I went to a concert at the arena and it was so easy to just park and walk across the street :)

Check in was excellent. Room thermostat was not working properly. Room was warmer than ideal - even while set to 66. Proximity to the Santander Arena was perfect. Parking was ample. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Service was OK (hostess great, server OK).

Because we had a dog with us, they put us in a wing with a bunch of other dogs. Sounds like those dogs aren't use to being alone because the amount of barking was ridiculous. Our dog doesn't do that, but she was noticeably anxious hearing the other dogs barking and crying, and it also disrupted all of our sleep. On top of that, a worker at the hotel barged into our room at 9:15 am, waking me up straight into panic mode because what if my dog slipped out the door? Why would someone just come into the room? Are you kidding me? Surely you have the resources to identify which rooms are occupied. We were sleeping, it was not my favorite way to wake up. Check out is at 11, maybe wait until then to just walk into the rooms willy nilly. For the price I paid, all that on top of the lack of .an included continental breakfast made this a very disappointing stay, I'll look elsewhere next time I want to have a nice weekend.

I recently stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed two highlights — breakfast and bed comfort. Breakfast was outstanding, with a generous selection of fresh and tasty options. From fluffy pastries and fresh fruit to hot dishes made with quality ingredients, everything was well-prepared and satisfying. The bed was equally impressive — the mattress was perfectly balanced between firm and soft, the pillows were supportive yet cozy, and the linens felt fresh and soft. I slept so well that it was hard to get up in the morning (even for that great breakfast!). Overall, a wonderful combination of a delicious start to the day and a truly restful night’s sleep.

We LOVED almost everything about this property. The free parking and convenient location next to Santander Center, impressive breakfast buffet (with a chef, homemade blended juices, and everything you could desire and more, plus kids were free!), fully stocked clean gym, and large heated pool. But the exception- The walls in the room were paper thin, and we could hear everything in the halls and surrounding rooms (conversations), as well as an exhaust fan of some sort outside. The sound of the fan/rooftop unit kicked off and on all night, and my husband and I didn't sleep at all. With earplugs or a room in another location, this would have been a fabulous stay. We would stay here again and ask to stay in another part of the hotel.

This hotel was convenient to stay in since I was attending a Lindsey Stirling concert right across the street at the Santander Arena. The whole hotel room was comfy and clean, along with the lovely walk-in shower. I loved getting to go swimming in the nice and clean indoor pool! I also liked the convenience of getting to eat at the restaurant inside the hotel. Just wished there would've been a microwave in my hotel room to heat some food up in. Also within walking distance of a Dunkin' Donuts to pick up donuts from in the morning.

From the time I arrived and from the time I left, the entire staff were amazing. They all went beyond my expectations. Very friendly and accommodating. They made me feel comfortable and at home. The front staff was excellent. They were very welcoming and informative. The bartending staff in the restaurant was awful. Extremely unfriendly, unattentive, and miserable. After asking for a menu after seeing a show, we had to wait another 20 minutes for the bartender to come back over to us, and when we wanted to order she said the kitchen was closed. Awful experience. I helped them out by letting other customers know it’ll take a half hour to get a drink, so they went elsewhere. Be prepared on show nights, and even if you are in the weeds, be pleasant and attentive to your customers.

I checked in and had to interrupt the clerk checking me in because she was on her phone. Turns out that you get a cookie upon check-in? Never given. Letting me know about area attractions? Never mentioned. The fact that the street would be closed off later making it inaccessible because of a graduation was never uttered! The quality inn or LaQuinta I stayed at were more attentive.

Staff was rude and not helpful at all. Made me go back out to my car in a parking garage for levels up to get a license plate so they can validate parking never told us we have to do that. Use my app to check in and she tried to tell me I didn’t, but I already knew my room number. Not very helpful at all will not stay again.

Overall, the property is great. But the staff was exceptional—every single person I encountered from the front desk staff to the bar/restaurant staff to the maintenance person to the maid. Each encounter made me feel heard, appreciated and valued.

The hotel is perfect if you are going to an event at the Salander arena, it’s across the street and the parking garage is attached to the hotel. The area around the hotel appears to be in the need of being overhauled and being updated.

Really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The only downside is the location of the hotel it’s seemed like it was in a sketchy area. I wouldn’t walk around at night time.

I wish I could review my stay but unfortunately this hotel is in a terrible neighborhood. Traveling as a single woman with my mother I did not feel comfortable staying in a hotel in such a bad area. I was also not comfortable parking my car in the municipal lot across the street. I great up in a questionable city in New Jersey and lived in NYC for many years so I am not unfamiliar with city living, but I quickly made reservations in another nearly by town.

Everything was great except our dining experience at Cheers. Slow service, seemed understaffed. Quinoa salad was (large) was huge and mostly lettuce, little of anything else. The chowder though was delicious. Breakfast food and service was amazing! Overall very happy with our stay.

This is one of my favorite hotels! I think the cleanliness, stylish decor, and attentive staff make it a special place! We've gone to several baseball tournaments in the Leesport area and whenever I can justify getting a hotel room instead of driving back and forth to Baltimore, I convince my husband we should stay at DoubleTree in Reading! Nice to have a bar/restaurant in the lobby and the breakfasts are wonderful!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hilton Doubletree! I didn't want to leave! The hotel was beautiful, our room was very large, and everyone from the front desk staff and bartenders to the restaurant staff were very friendly and courteous. Every area was very clean including the pool and gym. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices and made to order eggs and omelets. Would gladly stay here again!

Very clean, modern hotel. Super comfy bed, great water pressure in the showers, and the complimentary toiletries by Crabtree & Evelyn smelled amazing. The warm chocolate chip walnut cookies at check in are also a nice bonus. Love the free breakfast there as well, lots of options.

This property has always been a favorite of our. However, since the change of leadership with the GM there has been a decline, especially in the restaurant. Key takeaways - The room carpets and carpets throughout were in a dire need of a good cleaning, our allergies were horrible in our room due to this (dander, mold, mildew) and the toilet seat in our room was not secure and shifted. The hotel states that it is pet friendly and has a mulched area for dogs. I am physically disabled and was glad for this. However, the area is not handicap accessible, the shrubs are overgrown and congested together, leaving no area for even my 12lb dog to walk and relieve itself. Additionally, some of the shrubs are not dog friendly and poisonous and digested. Dinner was less than desirable. We got the charcuterie as a starter which was nothing more that pre-packaged lunch meat as well as pre-packaged sliced cheese. We both got the flat iron steak cooked medium. This steak had no flavor at all, was over cooked, and tough. Our meal was definitely not worth $140. The dinner menu is extremally limited for those who are GF. The positive of our meal was the passion fruit mojito mocktail. Breakfast was superior and the highlight of our stay. If we stay at this hotel again, we will definitely go elsewhere for dinner.
