Beautiful location, Very family friendly w/ lots for kids to do. The owner was there on the premises to help check you in and explain the shared facilities. The building is old and rustic, but comfortably furnished. All the wood and age of the structure limits sound proofing, so light sleepers may want to bring ear plugs. Guerneville Lodge is close to everything - Mainstreet shops, the Russsian River, Johnson’s Beach and the Armstrong Woods! There are even camping spots for rent, for those who really like to rough it.

I was disappointed by Guerneville Lodge and I don’t think it is an adequate accommodation for the price. The room was old and dirty, there are cobwebs on the bed posts and the windowsills and corners were very dusty and grimy. The windows don’t have screens, and there isn’t a way to have privacy in the room with any natural light because the only window coverings are dark shutter shades. For over $300 a night it’s just not worth it and I would expect a much nicer and cleaner environment. The hot tub on the deck is nice. The customer service is very odd. I would not stay there again.

We got lucky and found an opening in this gorgeous cabin on a last minute Saturday. The owner was very helpful and pleasant. And it's perfectly located. We'll be back soon
