This property is steps away from the boardwalk. The facilities were clean (actively being cleaned throughout the day by staff). The pool was awesome, parking was easy and the proximity to the beach and boardwalk was amazing. Having the beach passes included with the room was very convenient. The Harris House is one of the nicest boardwalk hotels that I have stayed in. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, everyone was friendly and polite. When we walked in, it smelled clean and was very clean and bright. We got there early, but they give you a parking pass and your beach badges so you don't have to wait to go on the beach. I know people in the past have complained about the road noise on the outer rooms, but to be honest, it didnt bother us. This hotel is a stones throw from the boardwalk and we had a blast! I plan on going back again this season, and it can't come fast enough!

Pool was clean and my kids really enjoyed swimming every day after the beach! The only negative i would say is that it didnt seem like they came to restock or empty the trash in the room but one time throughout our 5 day stay. Parking was tight the day we arrived which could have been because of the 4th of July holiday...parking spots are a bit small (we do have a big SUV). However we were always able to find a spot. We arrived an hour early to check in and our room was ready. We stayed a while after check out to get some breakfast and we were able to remain parked in the hotel lot for that time which was very accomodating. Overall we had a great experience at Harris House by the Beach! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Harris House is convenient to everything and it's a very good value. A September stay means lots of easy parking, some of it covered. The heated pool is a real plus. Next time we would ask for a poolside room rather than streetside. Cars looking for boardwalk block parking come and go at the metered spots right outside the room and are very noisy fairly late into the night. We were wakened every morning at 5:45 by the trash truck picking up in back of the boardwalk stores across the street...that was pretty irritating. The staff is pleasant and accommodating, especially the cleaning staff, who do a great job. We arrived an hour before check in and the ladies at the desk were more than happy to let us park and check into the room since it had already been cleaned. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back ...just in a quieter room.

Our stay at the Harris house was very nice. I find myself picky with smells and cleanliness. I had zero complaints. Excellent position right off the boardwalk. Staff was genuine and friendly. Showers were perfectly clean. Beds were very clean. Simple rooms which is all you need. Very impressed.

We enjoyed our stay at the Harris House. It's in a great location and is very clean. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel for the rate. My only complaint was that the beds seemed worn in and were not comfortable resulting in restless sleep, however the beds may be okay for someone else. We enjoyed the beach, boardwalk and all the amenities!

Disappointed lack of cleanliness (ugh stray hair in tub ) sheets were not changed, no explanation card requesting preference re linen was provided. However clean towels were provided A/C did not have adjustable flow vent and air hit bed in a manner that was uncomfortable to sleep Otherwise, true to ad for convenience of location etc.

The room was clean, smelled fresh, enjoyed the distance to the boards and beach. Happy to have received the beach tags but wish you could receive them the day you check in so you aren’t paying. I would say getting one of what appeared to be the last rooms I would prefer a room facing the pool. We stayed in room facing ocean and it was loud day and night. The walls are a bit thin as we heard our neighbors children crying all night. My moms ears will be the death of me cause my child and husband slept right thru it. Overall great experience will hand pick the room next time.

The room was clean and updated. There was a bar fridge but no coffee. There was an early morning storm and the street was flooded, the parking lot is slightly raised so there was puddling but not flooding. The other guests were very noisy and rude!
