What guests think

Comfort Suites Woodland - Sacramento Airport draws praise for its friendly front desk, spacious suites and convenient location near I-5 and SMF, while feedback often notes mixed breakfast quality, a recurring $10 parking fee, and occasional housekeeping or maintenance lapses.

Rooms are generally large and comfortable with separate sitting areas, though some feel dated and highway-facing rooms can get traffic noise. Facilities are basic: the fitness room is acceptable but sometimes has equipment issues, parking can be tight and paid, and there is no airport shuttle despite some listings. Expect a convenient, straightforward stay near SMF with friendly service and roomy suites.

We choose this hotel b/c it is close to the airport. The hotel was clean and we had a very quiet stay. Some of the info for this hotel says they offer a shuttle to the airport but they do NOT. Fortunately, we had a car and were able to get our family member there but if you are not in that situation, you will need to make other arrangements. The area around the hotel has other hotels, convenience stores, and a few restaurants. You can walk to a few places but I would not call it walker friendly.

Lobby and outside facade was nice and updated. The room we stayed in was a bit beat up. Nice breakfast of hot and cold options. Fitness room was good except the treadmill squeaked. The sofa bed wasn’t made and needed to ask for bedding and make it myself. Luckily the mattress wasn’t scary!

No recycle bin. Couldn’t make coffee in room due to missing part. No replacement available. Breakfast was bad. Ended up going across to get coffee at Dutch Bros. Signage to room # was wrong which was confusing. Post card in room was a nice touch and front desk said they would stamp and mail it for us. We have a bet to see if it ever arrives? Charged $10 for parking by the hotel? Why does it say all fees are included but then have to pay a fee for self parking? Bed was too soft. Room was very large and was clean

Expedia shows there’s a free airport shuttle, that’s why I booked this place, but I called the hotel to get on the shuttle and was told there is no shuttle. Not a huge deal, but was looking forward to a free shuttle. The lady at the front desk, when I arrived, was absolutely amazing! Friendly, helpful and made me feel so comfortable and welcomed! The room was big and mostly clean. The main areas of the room had been cleaned but there was definitely thick dust and spider webs around the edges of the wall, couch and desk. It didn’t completely ruin my stay. It was very quiet and clean everywhere else. I would stay again.

Only treadmill is out of order. Not a lot of choices in workout equipment. Breakfast is mediocre: no oatmeal, non-dairy milk. Most of the oranges in the bowl were rotten (can put finger through rind). No other fruit alternatives. Room is spacious and clean though.

I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room we received. The bathroom had a weird scent. There was leftover trash from the previous people who stayed there. There was also food crumbs left behind on the floor. Hair strands were found in the sheets. Cleanliness is a huge thing for me! Other than the cleanliness, it's an accommodating family hotel.

It was decent but I felt it was a bit run down for the price I paid. There was also a constant buzzing noise at the door which was coming from the hall which was pretty annoying at night when you’re trying to sleep. I would say it is clean but something about it I felt it wasn’t the best. Overall, I’d give it a 3/5. It was decent but for the price I paid, I would’ve paid more for a better stay.

The front desk was super friendly and helpful and the location has been good for us with a Tesla supercharger and food options nearby. There were a couple things about the room that have room for improvement. First - the pull out bed has a mattress that's extremely bent up on one end (where it was folded into the couch) to the point that it's going to be uncomfortable for our son to sleep on it. There were no sheets or blankets in the room for the pull out. You have to go down to the front desk and get them which is inconvenient to discover when you're almost ready for bed. Also the blackout curtains don't close all the way to block light from the parking lot. Otherwise the room is clean and has been pretty quiet.
