Great location right above the beach with a walk down to the shore. Breakfast was tasty and the room in the newer building was spacious, clean and modern.

We loved the ocean crest resort, being from MT we are used to country “sheek” resorts, and often find tons of hidden gems off the beaten path- the ocean crest is one of them. Wel arrived later in the evening, so I was more than excited to see the view from our cabin the next morning, the view from breakfast along with the peaceful music , had me sitting drinking coffee for longer than needed. The breakfast attendant was An amazing gentleman , in fact everyone we spoke to was very kind and helpful and we felt right at home. The path to the beach is also an incredible perk, although my first time down I alone I did get a little turned around finding my way back up- make sure to make note as you exit the forest path (learn from me) . Once you’re at the beach 🏖️ the heaven. The room itself was dated but cozy, I loved the fireplace on the colder night. I would say that the room was definitely a bit mildewy , to be expected of an ocean property , but something to be aware of for those with mold sensitivities, as it lingered for our entire stay - we managed fine, and that is truly the only issue I found. The pool and sauna were an amazing addition to our slow morning . To note: the restaurant and bar are closed for the season- which was a bummer but understandable . I’m surprised it would be closed as there isn’t much around for food and the hotel seemed to have quite a few guests… This place is worth the drive over- and absolutely provided us with a cozy, quiet retreat .
