The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The waterflow from the shower was great, but the bathroom design was terrible. The shower was only half enclosed and the bathroom floors would get soaked every shower, so much so that the floors were already damaged. The rooms were a bit small, but other than the aforementioned, it was a very decent stay.

It’s a nice hotel, check in was easy and staff was courteous. My room was clean and king size bed was comfortable. It’s literally in front of Strana (club), but I didn’t hear any music while asleep. I was facing the back so maybe that’s why. I’d stay here again. Some restaurants are near (La casa de los Plato’s, La docena) about a 15min walk or 5min driving.

VOCO is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in GDL. The staff is phenomenal. The rooms are amazing! And overall the area it’s in (Providencia) is so conveniently located that it’s easy to catch an uber at all times of the day. I’ve stayed at hotel near the country club and with all the traffic it’s a nightmare. VOCO is down the street from the country club and prices are super fair too.

The only negative about the hotel was that although it has a beautiful bar, the bar tender did not know how to prepare a cocktail. He did not take advise or recommendation from the paying customer. I specifically asked for a margarita that was not sweet or sugary. I was given a margarita that was syrupy and extremely sweet. I asked for a regular margarita with a small piece of pineapple and a few slices of jalapeño and I got an infused tequila that was the level of habanero. Impossible to drink. It burned the lips and throat on the first sip. I was charged for both drinks. As the bartender refused to return the first one and I ordered the second thinking he would get it right, not at all. Disappointing for sure. Hotel room was nice, clean and lines were a nice quality.
