Fourkeys motel

What guests think

Reviews of Four Keys Inn are sharply mixed, with many guests reporting serious cleanliness issues like bugs, odors, and dirty bathrooms, while a smaller number mention friendly staff, occasional clean rooms, and acceptable stays for the price.

Several reviews describe a sketchy, high-crime-feeling area and unsettling activity, with a few guests choosing to leave. Room maintenance problems come up repeatedly, including nonworking heat or AC, poor showers, faulty or unsafe electrical outlets, worn furnishings, and weak door security. Service feedback is mixed: some praise friendly, responsive staff, while others found the office unmanned, deposits hard to retrieve, or interactions unprofessional. Expect a budget stay with significant trade-offs.

Do NOT stay here! We couldn’t and chose it was better to leave and sleep in our car at a travel center! Very sketchy area, it is rent by the hour, day, or week. Felt like I needed to go get a tetanus shot after leaving! Evidence of bugs, dirty comforters, stains on bedding and liked like blood spatter on ceiling.. literal dirt all around on floors, corners of room were gross, nasty closet, dirty tub, very unsecure door. People yelling outside… creepy, scary, unsafe. Felt like being in an episode of NCIS or Final Destination. Keep your money… if you need a place to stay and this is it— just go to Chillicothe and stay at the Pilot travel center in your car. The manager at Pilot let us sleep in our car in their parking lot. That was a far better choice than risking our lives, our car, and bringing home creepy crawlies from this nightmare of a place. I agree with other reviewers on here— how can I give this place a NEGITIVE FOUR STARS???

All I wanted was a clean place to shower and sleep when I went to check in the office smelled bad and no one was there then once I finally got my key, I got to my room and the cleaning lady is outside screaming all night because she got fired and then the clean shower I wanted the showerhead didn’t even work. A little dribble came out of it the toilet had black mold in it And the air conditioner wouldn’t even get the room down to temperature after eight hours of running I’d really like a refund

The room was actually very nice with a very nice comfortable bed. I would definitely stay there again for the price I paid. The only concern that I really had was that the bedding could've been refreshed and washed before my stay.
